17/04/2026: We had lunch at this establishment today and the meal was delicious. Original and well-prepared dishes, pistachio lasagna and saffron risotto – we thoroughly enjoyed it.

03/04/2026: The place is meticulously cared for down to the smallest details, very clean, and the kindness and courtesy are undeniable. Excellent food, and the wait between courses makes you realize that everything is delivered quickly. Mind you, I don't mean to say the wait is long. The starter was excellent, with a revisited version of the classic pappa al pomodoro. Today is Christmas Eve, so eggs cooked at a low temperature, followed by Tuscan-style cod. 15/11/2025: A bar with homemade pastries, phenomenal!! There was a wide selection of desserts; we tried the torta della nonna, which is spectacular (it melts in your mouth) and the almond and caramel tart. Everything was delicious! Inside, they also sell products made by the Camaldolese monks (mostly liqueurs and sweets). Next door, there's also a shop selling traditional cured meats and cheeses.

13/11/2025: Just steps from the historic center of Sansepolcro, this place, discovered by chance, is truly perfect for us. Beautiful, large, welcoming, elegant, with plenty of indoor (upstairs and downstairs) and outdoor (air-conditioned covered patio) spaces, and that "bikers welcome" that says it all about the hospitality that extends to my world. Excellent menu with a varied selection of typical and traditional dishes. Excellent cuisine, tasty and plentiful. It's special to taste the first courses directly from the pan where they were sautéed, avoiding the plating and focusing more on the essentials than the frills. As is the soapstone under the grilled meat to keep it warm. Excellent solutions!! The highlight was the desserts prepared directly by the owner: truly delicious!! Let's just say that for what we paid, three of us ate well and were satisfied. Recommended!!

10/11/2025: Last Sunday, I went to this restaurant in Aboca for lunch with my friends after a trek. A well-kept place, young staff, and a nice menu. Excellent service from two attractive young women. If I may offer a piece of advice, in such a large, rustic, and beautiful room, installing an electric heater is not only pointless, but also an eyesore—a real shame. You'd need to invest a bit of money into a nice wood-burning stove, perhaps a cast iron one with copper pipes. Besides making the room much more beautiful and welcoming, it would also heat the very cold environment for those sitting down to eat. That said, I'd recommend this place, but not in the winter.

06/04/2026: Stayed on Easter Eve at the campsite in a wooden house, clean, welcoming, equipped with a stove (which was useful, since it was still cold) wool blankets, had dinner at the Baroni inn, varied menu, value for money in line with the location

06/04/2026: Restaurant review: Lunch was very good, the staff were friendly, and the view was extremely relaxing. I recommend the Tuscan meats and the schiacciata toscana.

01/02/2026: I dined here a few months ago. Da Giovannino is a simple restaurant in the center of San Giovanni. The food is good, both traditional Tuscan dishes and pizzas and baked goods. Perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family in a comfortable atmosphere.

09/03/2026: You always look outside your comfort zone for places to try and test, to gain new experiences. I've lived near this place for three years and had never tried it. I'll never make that mistake again. The enchanting and refined atmosphere, with stylish details that blend past and present Tuscany. I ate locally sourced dishes expertly prepared with technique and taste. The vegetables are prepared with the delicacy of those who produce and care for them. Dishes that exude flavor and quality. Definitely worth a try. P.S. Pigiama (a splendid chocolate Labrador) is a discreet and friendly dining companion.

04/12/2025: A day in Arezzo, waiting for the bus home, stopping for a beer with a friend. We were looking for a pub near the station, saw it on Google Maps... we chose it, searched for it, and went in! The atmosphere was very unique, familiar; the patrons were locals, probably regulars. Good selection of beers, nice atmosphere... almost "strange"... very unique but very welcoming. The owner was friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Arezzo.

25/08/2025: A cozy atmosphere, friendly, and approachable staff. The food is good, and the beers are always unique and delicious. The selection of draft and bottled beers is also huge. Great prices. One of my favorite places in Arezzo for a Saturday night.
