14/10/2025: It was so special. Stefano and his staff could not have been more welcoming. The room was very comfortable. The shower was outstanding. The inn itself was old world feeling with the comfort of a newer hotel.

06/01/2026: We often come to the restaurant for lunch. It's a unique place and highly recommended. The old-fashioned way, where you eat great and leave feeling full and satisfied. Unfortunately, there aren't many like this left. So don't miss it!
28/12/2025: Normally, when I eat at a restaurant, I only order one course, but here I ordered an appetizer, a first course, a second course, and a side dish: typical Casentino dishes, beautifully cooked and brought to the table with excellent service, so authentic they don't need any salt. Two standouts: the tortelli alla lastra and the passatelli with sausage and mushrooms are superb.

02/12/2025: We stopped here for lunch on Sunday because it's convenient, on the road to Arezzo. The restaurant serves typical Tuscan fare, with excellent food and friendly, helpful staff. We'll definitely be back.

03/09/2025: We had a wonderful time at the Dirty Rat. The service was exceptional; everyone was helpful, and we had a wonderful connection with everyone. The interior was very impressive, with beautiful designer lamps and lovely paintings. I spent a lot of time looking around. The dishes and desserts were consistently delicious, created and presented with surprising and distinctive flavors. The wine was the perfect finishing touch. I look back on our evening with a smile on my face. Thank you so much!
02/09/2025: Lovely joint with both Tuscan and a few American/Mexican style dishes. The zucchini flowers were lovely and the pici as well. The staff spoke good English, compared to other establishments in the area.

05/01/2026: We spent our New Year’s Eve here and was really a very good choice. The owner was kind and helpful. The place was so intimate and elegant, just as the view. The flavours on the plates were just so unexpected and beautifully and tastefully well balanced. Good job!!

06/01/2026: We ate here based on reviews on December 30, 2025, to avoid the crowds of December 31. Everything was good, both the mixed cured meat and vegetarian appetizers, and even the pici all'aglione, which were a lovely discovery. The staff and owner were very friendly. We'll return if we're in Arezzo again.
06/01/2026: A restaurant in the center, offering good food made with Tuscan ingredients. The wine list is excellent and offers a wide selection. Luca, with his conviviality and friendliness, takes care of all his guests, always with great professionalism and attention to detail. Obviously, behind such a man, there's a great woman.

03/02/2026: Spectacular. Everything was excellent! Including the service.
The ragù was incredible, worthy of applause. The artichoke soup was amazing, the fried artichokes were perfect, and the Cinta Senese prosciutto melted in your mouth. Throughout all of this, they were kind, helpful, and classy.
Highly recommended!

Needs to be reviewed.
The menu lists the specials of the day, so we ordered based on what was listed later at the next table. The waiter described the dishes off the menu to the diners, something he hadn't done with us.
So, one of two things: either write all the specials of the day on the menu, or the waiter should tell all the customers, not the ones he likes the most.
I repeat, the service needs to be reviewed; something's not right.
