27/04/2026: We went there on a Sunday for lunch.
The staff were very friendly and polite, and the place was clean.
The Tuscan crostini appetizer was delicious, the topini with white rabbit ragù, and the tortelli stiani with Chianina ragù were equally delicious.
The scroccadenti were also good.
Highly recommended.
12/04/2026: A complete restaurant, from breakfast to dinner.
Don't miss the fried food and its potato tortelli.

03/09/2025: We had a wonderful time at the Dirty Rat. The service was exceptional; everyone was helpful, and we had a wonderful connection with everyone. The interior was very impressive, with beautiful designer lamps and lovely paintings. I spent a lot of time looking around. The dishes and desserts were consistently delicious, created and presented with surprising and distinctive flavors. The wine was the perfect finishing touch. I look back on our evening with a smile on my face. Thank you so much!
02/09/2025: Lovely joint with both Tuscan and a few American/Mexican style dishes. The zucchini flowers were lovely and the pici as well. The staff spoke good English, compared to other establishments in the area.

29/04/2026: I attended a baptism as a guest. Everything was top-notch, except the speed of service. It should be noted that there were over 100 of us.
05/04/2026: We're back here, and it's become our go-to place for dinners and anniversaries. As always, the atmosphere is refined, the service top-notch, and the food is excellent in every way. Coming back is always a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

The food was divine.
The sliced beef with anchovies was unforgettable.
Even though we arrived without a reservation and they were packed, they welcomed us later, after agreeing on a time.
They did everything they could to make us feel comfortable.
But it was worth the wait.
03/05/2026: What a surprise to find this little place in Arezzo, with so many touristy venues! Here they serve real local food with some real Italian excellent service. If you want to rush, perhaps the local hamburger place will fix you faster, but here, all is good. You want to be treated with respect and chow time is not for running, but to contemplate life and its beauties. We found a great service and nice, tasting food. Their wine list was also very good. Sorry, I could stack more food and wine on my only one stomach. Will be back again for sure.

29/04/2026: Deliciously executed food with great professional service. Went in on a Sunday lunch without a reservation and was able to grab a table. Possible that the fried calamari and prawns could have been enhanced with a citrus aioli to cut through the fried food but nevertheless was great.

08/03/2026: Very kind and welcoming staff. Even though I hadn't booked, they managed to find a table for my wife and I today, March 8th. The food was good and plentiful, with more than reasonable prices, at least for those of us who live on the coast. We'll definitely be back.
07/03/2026: This restaurant, the wine is very good, a lot. They give me too much food. Oh my god, what food they gave me, thank goodness I took home because I was making more. The service is really excellent and very good, congratulations. The atmosphere is very large and the space is large. Bringing a birthday cake is not an option for me. I don't agree.

27/02/2026: Since you asked for a reason for my rating, here it is:
I'm the customer on Saturday, February 21st, who you placed at table 00. As we told you when we paid the bill, we ate the pizza in 10 minutes because, being right in front of the door, we were freezing. And honestly, that's inconceivable from my point of view. The fact that the table was called 00 makes it clear that it's a non-existent table... All you had to do was call and say you didn't have a table.

26/04/2026: This place is a bit off the beaten path for tourists (like me) in these areas, but if you know how to select restaurants carefully, you'll definitely find it.
If I lived in the area, I'd add it to my favorite restaurants for the following reasons:
1) Beautiful setting (including an outdoor terrace) with a panoramic view of the valley (see photo).
2) Truly delicious dishes, plated in an original and visually striking way.
For example, we had a radicchio risotto (delicious), which was served "in the mold" with a cheese fondue on top. The photo (see) says it all better than words.
I'll conclude by pointing out that it's not true that the restaurant is expensive.
24/03/2026: The enchanting atmosphere of the Tuscan hills and the intimate, refined setting allow you to fully relax and enjoy cuisine based on solid traditional foundations, technically impeccable, and authentic flavors. Attentive and friendly service is provided. In the warmer months, dinner on the terrace offers a breathtaking view.
