15/03/2026: We've been back to eat here and are always satisfied. On Sundays, they serve a set lunch menu, and they even managed to accommodate the celiac at the table (and it was all delicious).

13/03/2026: Recommended by our B&B. We ate excellent, varied and traditional appetizers, wonderful tagliolini with truffles, and fried mushrooms. Family-style service. Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

06/04/2026: Today, April 6, 2026, we visited this restaurant in Sansepolcro. The Florentine restaurant Locanda del Giglio. Michele, my wife, and I were there. It was a truly atmospheric lunch, made even more magical by the music of a talented pianist: Donati. The dishes were expertly crafted by a Michelin-starred chef, yet retain the authenticity and flavors that only the finest ingredients can provide. The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere of the owners and waitresses made everything perfect. I would mention them all, but I'd particularly like to mention two, Vittoria and Violetta. Rarely has such a successful combination of fine dining and human warmth been found. The prices are affordable and consistent with the high quality. I'm pleased to highlight the natural empathy between the owners, waitresses, and customers. Anyone looking to spend a wonderful day in Sansepolcro cannot miss this restaurant.

08/03/2026: We only had appetizers and first courses. Everything was excellent, especially the fried porcini mushrooms and truffle-filled first courses. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location was quiet, with beautiful views.

21/09/2025: On the recommendation of friends, we went to this osteria. The dish we had to try was the Chianti risotto. Our expectations were very high, and we can say they were fully met. It's an unexpected dish (in the realm of pici and lasagna), and we'd definitely recommend it. Be warned, cinnamon is one of the ingredients. We'll be back on our next visit to Cortona.

07/04/2026: We visited for Easter with the whole family (15 people), seated in a small but adequate room perfect for this type of family gathering. We were isolated from other customers, yet still served perfectly and at the right time for an Easter lunch. The menu was prepared by the host and featured his typical Tuscan specialties, excellent quality and flavor. The service was impeccable, very kind and attentive. We will definitely return.

30/03/2026: When you sit at "I Bottega," you enter a kitchen made with love and passion, using good, genuine, traditional products. The dishes all have a strong, distinctive flavor that fills your heart and stomach! The welcome is excellent; Luca explains each dish because he knows what he's talking about. It's the restaurant where you eat the fat of the ham, too! Not recommended for vegans, only! For everyone else, it's a must!

10/04/2026: The best ice cream shop in Arezzo! If I want an original flavor with my family and my coke-loving Elba, we enjoy it at this ice cream shop and the exceptional granitas... I love the almond and mulberry one with cream, but I also love eating ice cream with brioche, you can always find it here 😋🫶🏻

07/04/2026: For those of you who, like me, are among the lactose-intolerant losers, this ice cream shop is phenomenal. If you're not intolerant, it's also for you: the Mediterranean and almond flavors (I don't remember the name, I think they have a couple) are delicious. The next day I repeated with the Mediterranean (top top top) and raspberry. I've never seen a ice cream shop with so many dairy-free varieties and such delicious flavors. My partner isn't intolerant, but he also tried the dairy-free flavors and loved them. Congratulations!

10/04/2026: What a find! Small but well-maintained restaurant. I showed up at 1:45 PM, but they immediately served me a portion of pappardelle with wild boar. Or rather, so generous it felt like two, with plenty of bread (necessary) to mop up the sauce. Excellent value.

07/04/2026: The dishes were excellent: the pasta was homemade and it showed, and the sauce—both wild boar and Chianina—was flavorful and plentiful, perhaps a little unrelated, but very pleasing to the palate. The platter was also generous, especially the truffle mortadella, which I'd never tried before. The only flaw was the service: very friendly but a bit slow, with little coordination between the various dining rooms. The bathroom was a bit cramped. All in all, it was a pleasant lunch, and I plan to return if I visit Arezzo again. Excellent value.

09/04/2026: The place is a bit small for the potential of the business, the food and service are excellent, the portions are so "you won't wake up hungry", the price is fair, it's run more like a home than a business, it's really good. If we want to find a flaw, but to be picky, the smell from the kitchen goes a bit into the dining room, but without making it a drama.
