07/06/2025: We were more than disappointed. While the ambiance was very nice, that's about it. The service was extremely inattentive and more show than substance. Some of the food was extremely tasteless and simply unloving. The papa al pomodoro was the worst I've ever eaten. The glory days here are definitely over.

02/06/2025: Wonderful place, very kind staff and really tasty dishes. I tried the pigeon and it was really fantastic. The one who was with me had the duck and it was the same. A guarantee to spend a lunch or dinner in full well-being..!!

02/06/2025: Dopo avere letto le ottime recensioni, io e mio marito siamo stati a pranzo in questo locale. Le aspettative non sono andate deluse. Io sono celiaca e anche per me ci sono state ampie scelte dall’antipasto al dolce e tutte buone. Locale a conduzione famigliare esperto di celiachia, la figlia della proprietaria e’ celiaca, tutti molto gentili. Ottimi vini .

Greta and I recommend this place, every time we go to Arezzo we will always eat here❤️❤️

26/06/2025: The food was incredible and for the price of everything it was really worth the money in every way. We had bread, slices of pizza dough with herbs and tomato sauce and prosecco to start, all complementary. We then had the octopus pasta whichw as so filling, so much octopus and so delicious. We also had the tuna and roasted vegetables as a second dish which was cooked beautifully. We finished with the pistachio tiramisu to share and it was incredible. We had the house wine for 15 euros a bottle which was also really good - you can never go wrong with house wine in Italy! All in all the food and timing of the service was great and the atmosphere felt chique and warm at the same time. The o ly downsides are that it was very warm outside with no fans or any cooling (34 degrees was a bit much and even hotter inside) and the staff were a bit standoffish and not so friendly. They indeed did their job well, but even with the locals it felt a bit too strict service, it's okay to have a joke and smile but this was definitely not the case here. Edit - went back for takeaway pizza and the half British half Italian waitress was lovely!!

11/06/2025: It seems to me that the quality has really deteriorated compared to the past, apart from the interminable waits to have even a simple dish (3 other tables apart from us, so it's not like it was packed). A glass of white wine brought in the glass without knowing what it was. I'll leave out the hosomaki and the wasabi, both of which were really lacking in flavor. Anguilla saved the dinner by the skin of its teeth, but it was a tiring dinner. The kind and friendly staff, this too, slowness aside (but really extremely slow), saves the rating.

15/06/2025: I think I have never eaten so well in a restaurant, nor received so much attention from the staff! It is an experience that I recommend to everyone if you happen to be in Arezzo, you will not regret it. Refined and sophisticated food, with very particular combinations that make the dishes unique. And then the desserts.... The pastry chef literally pampered us before leaving! In short HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

07/07/2025: We've been looking forward to returning to La Posta del Poeta all year, and once again we were delightfully rewarded. The food, service, and ambiance are all fantastic. The chef conjures up a haute cuisine menu, all perfectly coordinated. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Tuscany; I highly recommend it.

24/06/2025: Located in the middle of nowhere, in a beautiful country house. There is no menu, depending on the season the chef offers 6 courses with ingredients of the moment. I am vegetarian and my partner is lactose intolerant. They adapted the menu to our needs. Quiet and informal atmosphere, everyone is very nice. Excellent house wine.
