17/12/2025: Update December 2025: Excellent again! The menu was different, we found everything excellent.
September 2025: Dinner for two, we ate very well and the waitress was very welcoming and kind. At the beginning of the meal, we were asked if we had any allergies, and the allergen substitutions they brought us were truly excellent.

03/09/2025: We had a wonderful time at the Dirty Rat. The service was exceptional; everyone was helpful, and we had a wonderful connection with everyone. The interior was very impressive, with beautiful designer lamps and lovely paintings. I spent a lot of time looking around. The dishes and desserts were consistently delicious, created and presented with surprising and distinctive flavors. The wine was the perfect finishing touch. I look back on our evening with a smile on my face. Thank you so much!
02/09/2025: Lovely joint with both Tuscan and a few American/Mexican style dishes. The zucchini flowers were lovely and the pici as well. The staff spoke good English, compared to other establishments in the area.

Excellent food, original dishes with well-crafted combinations, a very nice place, even though we were there on a cloudy and rainy day, and welcoming staff. We plan to return in the warmer months.

08/03/2026: Very kind and welcoming staff. Even though I hadn't booked, they managed to find a table for my wife and I today, March 8th. The food was good and plentiful, with more than reasonable prices, at least for those of us who live on the coast. We'll definitely be back.
07/03/2026: This restaurant, the wine is very good, a lot. They give me too much food. Oh my god, what food they gave me, thank goodness I took home because I was making more. The service is really excellent and very good, congratulations. The atmosphere is very large and the space is large. Bringing a birthday cake is not an option for me. I don't agree.

29/12/2025: A pleasant gastronomic discovery. The atmosphere is also suitable for groups. Sara is an excellent waitress. Everything is excellent, from appetizers to dessert. You can't leave the table without first sinking your teeth into the 1 kg pork belly steak. Service is prompt and attentive. We recommend making friends with Nadia. Find out for yourself why. I give this place a 10.

Excellent food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
We were pampered by the young Angel and her charming colleague Teo; they were incredibly kind and professional right down to the last coffee! Long live friends!

22/10/2025: We discovered it while passing through Pieve al Toppo (AR), and we ate divinely. The atmosphere was quiet, the menu excellent, and the staff extremely efficient. Excellent value. We'll be back to try the steak, even though it's almost 90 km to get there and back, but it's definitely worth it.

14/02/2026: A truly warm and welcoming place. Very kind and polite service. After a reasonable wait of 15-20 minutes, we ate excellent Peruvian food. After the obligatory mopping up of the plates, we left our plates practically clean 😜. Generous portions and excellent prices. Highly recommended! Compliments to all the staff.
14/02/2026: Looking for a last-minute dinner, we stumbled upon this place by chance. It was fully booked, but there was a table available for at least an hour, so we decided to stop anyway, not knowing where else to go at that hour. We were greeted and served with such kindness.
We ordered chicken, tacos, vegetables, and potatoes. They were truly delicious and well-prepared, offering new flavors.
If we return to Cortona, we will definitely book a table in advance to enjoy other dishes.
Thanks to the staff for welcoming us at the last minute.
