12/08/2025: The most critical aspect is the rudeness, truly disconcerting! The food quality is average, but made worse by the conveyor belt, as the small plates containing the food are placed on this belt, uncovered, and thus, without any protection, pass through the room multiple times. Besides making the food cold, it seems truly unhygienic to me.

13/05/2025: I give 4 stars to the food because we only tried the bagged chips. But the cocktail was very good (both). The place has an old and elegant style, good music and the service was the best, they give you advice and explain what each cocktail has. I recommend you go for an aperitif or dinner. Fair prices for the quality (€8/€10 for a cocktail, €6 for a glass of wine and €5 for a draft beer).

06/05/2025: We hired the White Dog to provide the open bar for our wedding in Poggibonsi. They were incredibly professional and communicative throughout the process and did an excellent job the day of the wedding with delicious cocktails and drinks that all of our loved ones thoroughly enjoyed. They also had a really beautiful bar setup at the venue. We would highly recommend their services to anyone.

18/08/2025: Unfortunately I have to remove some stars. And it's not about the quality of the food but inconsistency. Today, Saturday at 9.50pm, I was about to go in to buy a few slices of pizza and oh well... a bad surprise, the door was closed. The times displayed make it clear that on Saturdays and Sundays it closes at 11pm. I call and they tell me they are closed. Coherence is lacking. The pizza was really good. The one with courgette flowers enchanted me. Service as always impeccable. You can buy pizza either by the slice or whole. Well done. They have improved. Advise .

16/08/2025: A small restaurant that doesn't need to shout about its elegance, but does so with understated elegance. It boasts a delightful outdoor garden and excellent dishes, including the brain and fried rabbit en cobweb, a signature dish for decades. Highly recommended; prices are fair!

14/08/2025: It's a shame because the wine list is worth it. Otherwise, the staff was polite but cold. It was a really fast lunch, with the table being cleared in installments, and the first course plates being taken away to bring the second course while someone was still eating (not that it was taking half an hour, mind you). The snails were very good, and the "gran tagliere" appetizer was a plate with three slices of prosciutto, four croutons, and two small pieces of cheese, all very, very bland. The fried food, which should be their specialty, was actually nothing special. In fact, the chicken and rabbit were very bland, and the cooking was not good, resulting in a very greasy result! Lastly, I can't stand reheated moka pot coffee. It's something I can't stand, especially at €2!

12/09/2025: We stopped in passing, now resigned to settle, what a discovery, exceptional pici, generous portions and in general a place to eat with taste and satisfaction.

02/09/2025: A nice little restaurant in the center of Marina di Cecina. Good food, portions that aren't huge, and prices in line with other local restaurants. The young man who served us was very kind and explained that since they serve fresh fish, they didn't have every dish on the menu, and some dishes varied depending on the catch. The cacciucco, a dish that isn't particularly light, was very good. The only negative: the gentleman who charged us, who seemed to be the owner/manager, wasn't exactly friendly, but maybe he was just having a bad day.

29/07/2025: Excellent experience with the "all you can eat" option, where we chose the fixed grill menu for €28 per person (unfortunately, the roast potatoes didn't arrive, but that didn't matter because we each had two rounds of grilled meat). The appetizers and meat were truly excellent. Clean and tidy atmosphere. The staff and owner were very kind and welcoming. Well done!!

04/09/2025: While we were in Capoliveri, we had dinner at this restaurant one evening. It was a great meal; all the dishes were delicious, and the portions were perfectly adequate for us. The price was also reasonable, and the service was friendly. We would happily return for dinner again.

04/09/2025: The food is very good and the prices aren't excessive, considering it's downtown. The only flaw is the service: the staff were friendly, but due to the large crowd, the food took a while to arrive, and we had to repeat some requests to get them fulfilled. We were there on a Wednesday night, so it was crowded, but I can't imagine it would be like a Saturday night, for example.

20/08/2025: I don't want to be wrong, but the quality of the dishes seems to have dropped since the old Pollastri moved from Segromigno Monte to Lappato. Furthermore, the service doesn't seem to be as attentive anymore, since on Saturday evening, we were placed in an internal room, when everyone else was seated outside and once dinner was finished, we were abandoned for more than 20 minutes, before getting up and asking the waitress to kindly bring us the dessert menu. In the old place I used to eat risotto alla pescatore, one of my favorite dishes, but it's a shame that since they moved, it's no longer possible to order risotto for just one person (which isn't specified on the menu), a choice that I find absurd, since by doing so, you force people to order different dishes that they might not like at that moment. I don't want to be argumentative, but when I go to dinner I would at least like to be able to order what I want since I'm paying. Last time I opted for spaghetti with clams, which I found to be flavorless and very dry, almost dry. The island-style sea bream was good, I must say, and the baked vegetables were delicious. It's a shame about the risotto and the lackluster service. The price is reasonable.
