25/07/2025: Non conoscevamo questa osteria, ma siamo usciti davvero soddisfatti. Le porzioni sono abbondanti; abbiamo ordinato gli spaghetti guanciale e pecorino e sono davvero speciali. Cortesia e pulizia ottimi! Consigliato!!!!!!

07/09/2025: I'm writing this a few days later. We came on Wednesday evening, September 3rd, a family of five with three small children, one of whom was a 1-year-old. The staff were incredibly friendly despite the confusion we created. The location was wonderful on the harbor. The food was excellent, with generous portions and reasonable prices, just below the rather high local average. Highly recommended!

03/09/2025: Fantastic experience. I went twice during my stay in Marciana Marina, and what can I say, it was delicious. The table service was truly excellent, the waiters and staff were incredibly friendly, Beppe the best. Highly recommended.

31/08/2025: One of the best menu’s I have had for a while! We had the oysters (AMAZING!) and the raw sea food platter for starters and the sea food risotto as primi. And all were of the highest quality. Great wine pairing and deserts made it a perfect evening! HIGHLY recommended!

31/08/2025: Every summer we return to this restaurant expecting the same quality as previous years, but this time we were quite disappointed, especially with the service, which didn't live up to the final bill. On the same evening, in no particular order: - the waiter serving the raw fish couldn't explain what all the fish on the plate were. The second waiter couldn't help either. - while waiting for everyone else to arrive, one of us asked for a glass of prosecco that was never served. - halfway through the meal, having finished the first bottle of wine, we asked for another, but, on her own initiative, she was brought a different, "similar" one, the waitress said, because the wine we ordered at the beginning of the meal was unavailable. Perhaps the wine list should be added. In previous years, there was a competent sommelier in the dining room, but he is no longer there. One of us asked the same waitress, the one always somber—perhaps a smile wouldn't hurt—if the dish he wanted to order, "rice and curry-gratin scampi," was, as he claimed, a historic Viareggio dish (incidentally, it was a staple on the menu of the then-famous Zi'Rosa for several years). The waitress replied with a firm "no," adding loudly that if anything, it was an Indian dish, but that customers were still asking for it... We found the response inappropriate, both in its manner and content, and demeaning of the dish itself. In the final bill, we noted that four glasses of Prosecco at the beginning of the dinner cost us 48 euros. Perhaps it would have been kind of the waiter to inform us of the price when we ordered, and perhaps suggest a bottle instead of four glasses. Compared to last year, we've noticed that prices have risen significantly (for example, the raw ham, now on the menu at 45 euros, was under 40 last year). The place is always very nice and the chef's greeting at the end of the evening is very welcome and friendly.

26/08/2025: I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago with my family and my partner. The lunch was truly exquisite, from the appetizers (fantastic platters of cured meats and cheeses) to the first courses, which were truly exceptional. Their "Gnudi" in both versions are a must-try. The desserts are also expertly crafted. Definitely worth returning.

21/08/2025: We stopped in for lunch after a stroll around Bolgheri, and we had a great time. Excellent food in a wonderful atmosphere. There was a bit of a wait, admittedly... but we always have to be patient with those working on behalf of us tourists. Well done.

21/08/2025: €7.50 for a 33cl beer. I think €8 for a small plate of nachos from the bag (which I saw on the counter) with melted cheese on top and four small pieces of jalapeño. Frankly, I think it's the least flavorful Mexican food I've ever eaten.

26/08/2025: The absolute best pizzeria in Pontassieve! Really good pizzas, with a wide variety of choices and a well-made dough. Fast and efficient service. Professional, very friendly, and helpful staff. Thanks also to Andrea (pizza chef/owner), who personally asked us how our dinner went at the end of the evening. Highly recommended!

06/08/2025: One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. A unique dough! Quality ingredients. Reasonable prices... the marinara is 6 euros! Highly recommended.

28/08/2025: The manager, Fabio, was really very kind. We didn't eat, just had a drink; we should have gotten sugar from the shop next door. Lots of choice and good prices.

16/08/2025: Vecchia Osteria in Misileo offers very good food. By booking in advance, you can enjoy an excellent lunch featuring fresh porcini mushrooms, but you can also taste game, excellent cheeses and cured meats, focaccia and Tuscan bread, and desserts. Il Castagno also has a minimarket where you can buy local products, including porcini mushrooms.

09/07/2025: Etwas abgelegen, wunderschöne Aussicht, sehr authentischer Ort, man fühlt sich wohl hier. Wir wollten nur einen Aperitivo nehmen und sind dann auch für das Nachtessen geblieben. Das Essen ist ganz ok und eher günstig. Der Wein und das Olivenöl waren super, wir haben direkt eingekauft.

26/06/2025: Stunning location on the hills, with an excellent view of the sea at sunset, exquisite food. We had an aperitif with two spritz and a well-assorted cutting board, reasonable prices despite the quality being very high.

03/09/2025: Ample free truck parking, super friendly, kind, and respectful employees. First time stopping here, the food is fantastic: tasty, good, and plentiful. I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend it; wherever a trucker eats, you eat well.

02/09/2025: It's the first restaurant you come across coming from Rome towards Grosseto, after the end of the motorway, a little modest, but the food is quite good. I had ham (decent) and figs (excellent) and stewed wild boar, very good even if reheated in the microwave.
