20/10/2025: We were looking forward to this restaurant based on a recommendation. The service was professional and super fast. The wine we wanted wasn't available, but the waiter recommended a great alternative. The food was good, but you should be aware that the fish is prepared in a special way (breaded, deep-fried). We don't think fish should necessarily be deep-fried (it's a specialty here), not our thing. The risotto was a real treat. The mussels looked very good. Good in general. I'd love to try it for myself.

16/11/2025: Amazing pizza, family business everything including the service was perfect. Every time we come to Florence we will definitely come to this restaurant. We had three days in Florence and we visited here for pizzas for two meals. That’s how much we liked it.

12/08/2025: The staff wasn't very talkative or friendly (except with the usual pimps).
The customers were even worse.
The location is good now.
And to think that under the old management I even worked there for a very short time, almost for free, cleaning the pavement and the toilets, picking up cigarette butts by hand, almost one by one.

28/09/2025: In September 2025, I finally found my way to King Caffe in Donoratico to buy coffee beans. As the owner of a high-quality portafilter espresso machine with a grinder, I was curious to see how the coffee would taste when I got home. Both espresso and cappuccino taste absolutely outstanding. A very, very good crema forms on the espresso. In any case, the little detour was worth it. I highly recommend it.

The food, prepared with local ingredients, offers some truly excellent dishes, while others are a bit disappointing... and the prices are fair. We'll definitely be back to try other dishes and perhaps change our opinion.

12/09/2025: A true, traditional trattoria, just like it used to be, located right on the Aurelia state road. The cuisine is home-style, delicious, and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and the service excellent, making the experience truly enjoyable. Highly recommended for those seeking an authentic and genuine meal.

12/05/2025: Fabulous dining experience from Tony and his family. Delicious food, felt right at home and loved the interior artworks. Plenty of great meal recommendations for those looking to try some local Massa delicacies. It was a superb night out after a long day on our bikes. Give these guys a chance and you won't be disappointed!

08/10/2025: My wife and I were on our honeymoon. We snuck into the pasta making class last second. It was truly fantastic from start to finish.
Our "Nonna", Narghess, was amazing. From the moment I awkwardly stumbled down into to the restaurant to ask if it was too early to come in to the last bite of dessert and goodbye. She commanded the room with wisdom and compassion.
We learned some history of Florence, the building we were in and its relation to the Renaissance as we prepared tiramisou, ravioli, and fettuccine.
An unforgettable experience. 100%. Narghess was incredibly kind and supportive as we muscled our way through the itinerary.
Fun, informative, and (most of all) tasty. We would highly recommend this activity for anyone.
The restaurant itself has great atmosphere, history, and even better chefs!!
We're from Maine in the US, but we met couples from Australia, Canada, and the Netherlands in the same class and by the end of the night we all felt like family.
Wish I was going back tomorrow night <3
07/10/2025: Family owned & operated — we attended a pasta-making class here & everything was phenomenal! Also loved the authentic feel of the restaurant with different levels & exposed brick!
