07/09/2025: Having been coming to Viareggio for many years, I was happy to try this place. The place is very welcoming, as is the staff, who make you feel at home. Naturally, the menu is exclusively seafood, with only a few courses. The dishes are generous and made with fresh fish, such as the tagliolini with cicadas, superb, as is the fried mixed seafood. The wine cellar offers excellent value, and the Conte is truly excellent. Well done.

05/09/2025: Last time I was really disappointed... many dishes are made to order, so the selection is limited, and the dish I'd chosen never even arrived. Too bad. The appetizer was good.

24/08/2025: I went there for an aperitivo at 6 pm, the cocktails were good. I also noticed that there were still desserts in the display case, and they were all really tempting! I'll be back tomorrow morning for breakfast before leaving 🙃. Update: Breakfast done ✔️ The best desserts I've ever had

24/08/2025: Lunch included a spicy salami pizza, from the menu for €8.50...while waiting, a very kind waitress brought an aperitif "on the house" The pizza was good and perfectly cooked But the bill wasn't great: €17.50 for a pizza, a can of Coke, and a coffee...

07/07/2025: "Ova e Farina" is one of those rare places where you immediately feel at home. The atmosphere is familiar and friendly, thanks to the genuine welcome and passion that can be perceived in every detail, from the smile of the staff to the care with which each dish is served. The cuisine is a perfect balance between simplicity and variety: each proposal on the menu reflects tradition, but with a personal touch that makes it unique. The dishes are prepared with fresh and seasonal ingredients, sourced from the area, and you can feel all the quality and love with which they are selected and cooked. Another strong point is the excellent wine cellar: a careful selection that enhances the local labels and perfectly accompanies each course, enhancing their flavors. "Ova e Farina" is the ideal place for those looking for authenticity, warmth and good food. I will definitely be back!

21/08/2025: The place is really nice... but the quality has definitely gone downhill... we had a simple coffee and it was truly (excuse the expression 🙏) rubbish... Unfriendly staff with no smiles and above-average prices. I only recommend it for taking some photos.

04/08/2025: I found Casa del Vino somewhat fortuitously and I am ever so grateful that I did. I am even more grateful that I found them on their last day of trading prior the August Summer break. The wine was fabulous, the food simple but so tasty and so perfectly matched to the lovely wines. The history of the store is fascinating. The store itself exists from the 1800s, and this family - Gianni’s Grand Father acquired it in the 1920s. It is presently run by Gianni and Nicoletta, with their daughter Bianca and son Nicola (the 4th generation), ably supported by the wonderfully knowledgeable Claudio. Like everything else, in the end it’s the heart and the soul that makes the difference. Folk who have visited Florence will agree that it is stuffed to the hilt with establishments also ostensibly with long histories, but now the only focus appears to be on fleecing tourists who are sometimes too lazy to check or do their research. And yet Casa del Vino remains true to their ethos and the wonderful family team make it what it truly is. I cannot wait to go back and meet everyone again. Thank you🙏

17/07/2025: Great wine prices and appetizers too. Not the best service.

13/07/2025: Nice place and really good food. I would have revised the portion sizes of the fried food and mixed grill; at other places at the same price, the portion sizes are much different. Slow service... There were three of us and we arrived at 8:00 PM. The place wasn't even half full, and for two courses and a dessert each, it took almost three hours. The younger waiter should be more cheerful and smiley.

29/06/2025: For the first time here. So we ate a raw fish (where I said not to put onion and instead it arrived with onion gel) and a mixed seafood appetizer and the quality is there. Then a grill that I didn't try, I was told good but a little poor, a tagliolini with lobster that tasted of tomato... and I don't think the lobster was fresh. Then the thing that bothered me the most was a glass of Vermentino la pettegola for 7 euros!!!! It costs 8 a bottle... this is really scandalous!!!! Which is really poor as a glass. Without sweet bitter coffees... 163 euros for two a little too much. A small bottle of wine. Good service, the guy with glasses, the rest in short. Then we got up in a hurry because inside despite the air conditioning we were sweating

06/08/2025: A very nice place to spend a summer evening in Florence. Very good food, mainly fish and vegetarian dishes, with friendly and helpful service. A little pricey, but unfortunately, in line with Florence prices!

04/08/2025: It's a great place for breakfast with friends, especially in the spring and summer! It's not very touristy, but it's quaint and ideal for those who live in the city center and for students, especially since it's much cheaper than the cafes in the center! ☕️🍪

20/08/2025: Dinner for two at Cantina di Istia d'Ombrone, a lovely restaurant in the center of the hamlet of Istia d'Ombrone in the Grosseto area. The menu is simple, with just a few dishes, but there's a choice of both meat and seafood, with some very interesting pairings. Their pici cacio e pepe are a must-try. We ate outside on their lovely terrace overlooking the main tower. Friendly and attentive service.

14/08/2025: Special spot on the terrace at the foot of the tower. Good service and excellent food. Pici cacio e pepe is superb.

21/08/2025: We ate excellent quality meat, treated with exceptional care. Superb value for money. I'll be returning from Rome specifically because the food here is worth the trip! Well done!

20/08/2025: Excellent food, slow service! Unacceptable behavior makes me give it one star. If you don't know how to manage The Fork, don't use it, leave! I don't recommend it!

12/08/2025: Kindness, hospitality, friendliness, good food...I believe these are the hallmarks of the Albergo Ristorante Letizia. A place to relax when the heat grips the plains. An annual event for us.

08/09/2025: Nice and clean place, good pizzas served in rectangular shapes, tasty and well-topped. Private parking. Fast service, average prices.

08/09/2025: We dined in the garden...nice, but it's definitely nicer inside. The Taranto Pinza was excellent...crispy and tasty. I recommend it. Good desserts.
