I highly recommend this restaurant to people with peanut, soy, and corn allergies: this establishment is free of these allergens, so you can go there with complete peace of mind. The pizzas are the restaurant's specialty and are excellent, with a thin but not hard crust. The charcuterie is simply divine, a real treat. I wanted to try something else and I wasn't disappointed: I ordered the grilled octopus with roasted potatoes: a DELIGHT. The octopus was grilled to perfection: juicy, flavorful, not rubbery but rather melting in your mouth. The potatoes were also delicious; the touch of butter made all the difference. We discovered a wine that accompanied each of our meals: Bolgherri (I apologize in advance if I misspelled it). If you're a wine lover, this one might appeal to you; it deserves to be better known. The seafood pasta dish is worth a return visit to this restaurant: it was divine. And what can I say about the service? A fantastic team, welcoming, quick service, not too long a wait for the food, and it's served piping hot. When you're in a group, everyone eats together—it's perfect. The prices are reasonable for this type of establishment. An address to add to your list for a future trip to Florence.

Really good pizza spot! The restaurant itself is very nice and has air conditioning. There are lots of pizza toppings to choose from and very reasonable prices. The dough is Naples style - light and fluffy. Definitely recommend if you’re craving pizza whilst in Florence.

A very positive experience. Thanks to Nada, the Tunisian waitress who always served us with a smile. The carbonara was excellent, and the pizza was one of the best I've had in Florence.

Great spaghetti and meatballs-the meatballs were different but good. Good carbonara, my husbands favorite in Florence and second favorite overall with one place in Rome being the best. Amazing Florentine steak! Great atmosphere. Easy to understand allergies and dietary restrictions. We ended up coming back our last night in Florence and split the special Chianina Florentine steak for two and the tagliatelle bolognese, and oh my goodness they were amazing. The tagliatelle was the best pasta dish I had in Florence, and the chianina steak was significantly more tender than the first steak my husband got earlier in the week-which was also amazing so that just goes to show how good this meal was. Even on Friday and Sunday night we got a table right away, just inside on Sunday. The service was not as great here, the first night my utensils were taken away after the first course and I was going to share some of the steak with my husband to try it but didn’t have a fork and it took 5-10 min to get anyone to come over to even ask for one, and the bread wasn’t brought out until after our second course so we didn’t even eat it at that point, the servers were all very friendly just seemed like they were running around and not attentive. The second night, the servers clearing the tables were super attentive and quick, but our actual server taking our order and bringing our food was not friendly by any means or attentive-in Italy you don’t get checked in on nearly as much as in the US constantly refilling water and asking how things are-but she came to our table the least of anywhere we’ve been. Aside from not being very welcoming, when I asked for the check after we finished she seemed irritated and abruptly said well can I clean the plates first as if we had just finished our last bite and immediately demanded the check to get out of there meanwhile we had been sitting waiting for the table to be cleared and it was the first time I saw her since we started eating. Now most nights we did stay a while after meals, but we still had our plates removed and asked about dessert and what not, and while we weren’t planning on sitting as long after eating that night, either way I didn’t ask the second we finished and also it was the first time I saw her so I figured it was my opportunity and then we could go whenever. Additionally, this was also the ONLY time in Rome or Florence where when I went to pay it had the tip screen up with 0%, 18%, or 20%, every other time I’ve gone to pay anywhere it’s only on tap to pay and there was no selecting an option (reminder tipping is not standard in Europe as servers are paid a living wage and it’s just appreciated to leave a few Euro if you’d like).

Over-rated dinner, very small portions and indifferent staff! And last but not least, boiling hot. Air-conditioning was not working properly.

The focaccia was delicious, and the service was excellent.
