It was perfect; we truly experienced authentic, traditional Italian cuisine. The owners, who have probably been running the place for 30 years, are truly admirable. The dishes were beautifully presented, the wine was delicious, and the food was wonderful – a lovely ambiance in a wine cellar. I had the beans as a starter and the braised beef as a main course. My wife had Tuscan vegetables and ravioli. We were very satisfied; the food was truly heartwarming.

This came recommended by our hotel Della Calza, and what a treat! It is tucked away underground and has a very cosy atmosphere.
The food and drink were lovely, and there were generous portions at reasonable prices. The servers did a great job of making sure we were comfortable.
This wasn’t an issue for us, but the entrance, the low headroom and steep steps to access the restaurant could be a challenge for some.

During my four-day stay in Florence, this was the only restaurant that truly disappointed me, in a city with such a strong culinary scene. While the food wasn't completely bad, the quality was so mediocre it bordered on poor.
The chicken breast arrived in small pieces, each one drier and chewier than the last. The truffle sauce was completely bland, very basic and lacking in flavor. The pasta was mediocre and overly salty.
Fortunately, we weren't very hungry at the time and didn't order anything else.
The ambiance is the only redeeming feature of the place: a quiet, peaceful space with traditional architecture and decor that lend it a certain warmth.

A small restaurant near the city center, in a vaulted room. We had a very good meal (truffle ravioli, vegetable ravioli, cantuccini), in a calm atmosphere because we arrived early. A great find!

Cooking classes at this location: Pasta and Tiramisu. An extraordinary experience with Clive, the chef, an Englishman with a heart of gold and a passion for cooking that he knows how to share with his guests. Go without hesitation. Bravo!

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and it was definitely THE HIGHLIGHT of my Florence vacation. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the gnocchi with truffle sauce – it was divine! And the service was incredibly friendly. I felt like I'd stepped into the home of a large Italian family, and I was warmly welcomed. The best part is that you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the evening and the atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Enchanting, quaint, and very evocative place, every corner had its own charm.
Special service, waiter super attentive to customers. There are gluten-free options, including bread to go with it (not a given for us celiacs).
