29/08/2025: An excellent place to spend a pleasant moment, alone, with family, or with friends. Either way, the owners and staff are so friendly and helpful that it's impossible to feel alone. The food and pastries are delicious and varied thanks to Lucas's special touch. It's worth trying some of their delicious ice creams, especially the "Unicorn" and "Nucciolla" flavors so kindly served by Marcos. The barista coffee from Eloy is delicious, my favorite being "Marrocco." And when the evening falls on Via Fillungo, it's impossible not to try one of their excellent drinks. The "Ugo spritz" or "Aperol spritz" are a must-try. ☆☆☆☆☆ Excellent!!! Thank you so much for the hospitality and best regards to everyone: Lelo, Lucas, Eloy, Marcos, Fillipo, Andrea, and Simone. 22/08/2025: Tuscan trattoria much loved by the locals. The lady I assume is the owner is very busy. We didn't try any platters or special dishes, so my review is based on the spaghetti with tomato sauce, which we specifically requested because the menu didn't include it, oven-baked tomato tripe, and a bottle of their white wine. Neither good nor bad. Perhaps the best part was the dessert. But there are bad nights and bad times, but I don't know if I'd return. The spaghetti was barely edible, but the sauce, frankly, seemed watered down. The tripe, cut differently than I'm used to, with Parmesan cheese, was really good. Since it was busy, the wait was really long. Would I recommend it? I don't know.

07/09/2025: First time. Tiny takeout shop with a fabulous menu: incredibly original and delicious sandwiches. We tried the Vizio Gola with Chianina tuna, and Ira with zucchini flowers and orange zest, and... we decided to return to try the others. The owner is friendly and very kind. The Avarizia sandwich is brilliant: just bread (which is actually focaccia bread) with nothing inside, obviously extremely cheap! 😁. September 2025: Four years have passed, and we've been back every year (every time we pass through Viareggio), and it has never disappointed us. We'd tried almost all the "Vizi" (and a few small dishes), but never the Ottavo. So this time we try it: you think it's a normal burger, but you immediately realize it's not... Chianina beef burger, salad and cherry tomatoes, thin caciobuffalo cheese, magnificent caramelized Tropea onions, a little bell pepper, and... crispy pancetta, all in "their" special, delicious bread. And nothing... we even "dipped" the sauce left on the menu. Don't be scared by the price, it's worth it! The quality is excellent, the atmosphere small but welcoming, and the owner, Marco, is friendly and very helpful. And if you have to wait... just wait, you won't regret it. P.S. I'm not his sister! 😉

29/08/2025: This place is simply AMAZING 💫 one of those rare finds that are still hidden from the world for locals and curious travelers to enjoy. Where do I start, honestly?! Surrounded by their vineyards and olive trees, this place is a restaurant but also a brewery 🍻They produce their own magnificent wine 🍷 and gin! Delicious food 👌🏽The snacks we had were 🔝same as the desserts.

27/08/2025: An excellent spot for an outdoor aperitif or dinner. Their wines are good (especially the reds), the ribs are excellent, and the wild boar sticks are a must-try. The staff is friendly and helpful, and you can purchase their wines, gin, and more directly from their shop. A must-try if you're in the area for an evening.

15/08/2025: Amazing! The octopus, tuna tartare, and seafood salad—all excellent. My next visit was August 15, 2025, probably the fifth time, and Cliff once again did not disappoint. The mixed antipasti, seafood pasta, and tuna tartare were all excellent. The service was fantastic, well done, ladies. I'll be back. I recommend it.

07/09/2025: Simply spectacular! La Terrazza della Val d’Orcia offers an unforgettable experience: a breathtaking view of the valley, accompanied by authentic Tuscan dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients. The Pici cacio e pepe pasta stands out for the quality of the pasta and its perfect cooking, but the extra touch is the addition of truffle, which pairs perfectly, making the dish indescribable. Unfortunately, several traditional dishes and some ingredients were sold out, which is why we were unable to enjoy some dishes. The service is courteous and attentive, with attention to animals as well. Prices are average for the area. The waits are a bit long, but this is something that can be worked around. I recommend booking for lunch or an aperitif because in the evening the landscape is dim, almost invisible, and the restaurant's location would not be fully exploited. The only real flaw in our dinner was that the kitchen closed without warning or asking if we still wanted to order, especially considering they'd told the waiters we wanted to take our time and possibly order meat as well. However, it was still a lovely experience. Perfect for a romantic dinner or a relaxing lunch, highly recommended.

29/07/2025: Los espaguetis fueron quizás los mejores que he probado. IT fue su especial ese día. Estoy muy contenta de IT. Rebecca era mi servidor y ella era tan dulce y me hizo sentir tan bienvenido e hizo una gran comida aún mejor. Desearía vivir aquí para poder ir todo el tiempo.

26/07/2025: Een prachtig plekje in een smal staatje langs de muren van het kasteel. Heel sfeervol. Ontzettend vriendelijke service, kindvriendelijk, hondvriendelijk en het eten is heerlijk. Alles is vers en biologisch en elke dag is er een nieuwe variatie aan zoete versnaperingen van crustata tot pannecotte. Heerlijke lunchkaart, de bruchettas zijn verrukkelijk. Echt de moeite waard om even in de schaduw te genieten van het Italiaanse leven met een windje door je haar. Goede prijzen.

04/09/2025: The restaurant is a bit sloppy. The food is passable, but the service is extremely chaotic. You order on a piece of paper and it's unclear what's coming or why, but it's very likely that not everything you ordered will arrive. Another thing I don't understand is how we managed to spend €60 on two menus, a bottle of water, and a half-liter of wine.

26/08/2025: Super TOP vegan sushi!!! I live far away, but I come to Massa often, and in the last year I've dined there several times. The vegan menu is excellent, complete, and super inclusive. Quality ingredients and excellent value. Highly recommended. A sincere compliment, because places like this are hard to find. Thank you ❤

28/01/2025: Excellent bar for breakfasts and aperitifs. Garden with outdoor tables. Good brioches and savory dishes, good coffee. Possibility to have lunch with hot and cold express dishes. Honest prices in the average for its category. Possibility of parking along the street. Advised.

25/08/2025: The food was delicious, but we booked two hours in advance, and when we arrived, the table wasn't ready. They brought the food without cutlery. And they didn't even notice. I complained to one of the staff at the end, hoping to help them improve their service, and what I heard when they turned around were some disrespectful jokes!

21/08/2025: Hello, The food was truly perfect – fresh, authentic, and simply delicious. We also really enjoyed the ambiance; you immediately feel at home. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. We've read some German comments in other reviews, which reveal some misunderstandings: In Italy, some things are done differently than in Germany. For example, you don't ask for the bill at the table, but simply go to the cashier after your meal to pay. Portion sizes are also traditionally somewhat different in Italy – but the quality and taste are all the more impressive. Of course, you can tell that a lot of tourists eat here, but the restaurant is still very welcoming, authentic, and highly recommended. For us, it was an all-round lovely visit – we'd love to come back!
