We were welcomed by a very kind and attentive young woman. We wanted to eat carbonara, and although it wasn't on the menu, the chef kindly offered to make it for us. It was absolutely delicious! **Hospitality We'll Never Forget** We arrived at La Bottega del Chiu planning to order some pizzas to take back to the house where we were staying, about nine minutes away. We discovered they weren't making pizzas at the time because the owner's son, who ran the place, had moved to Rome. We decided to order some meat anyway, and the owner prepared five portions for us, accompanied by truly spectacular baked potatoes. He also gave us some bread and, not having suitable containers, even let us use his kitchen table, simply asking us to bring it back the following day. The food was excellent, but what we'll remember most of all is his extraordinary kindness and helpfulness. It's gestures like these that make a trip special. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Excellent for a dinner in a typical Tuscan village immersed in tranquility. Compliments for the truffle pici and peposo.

Absolutely the best restaurant in this part of Italy

I'm giving the food a 5-star rating based on other reviews, as we didn't actually try it. After a 45-minute wait, during which my partner went to ask why no one was taking our order (they'd forgotten about us, even though there were 10 of us in the restaurant), we were told there was no pizza on the menu that evening, which is precisely why we chose this restaurant. Telling us this beforehand or when they gave us the menu would have saved us almost an hour of our time, for nothing. And all this without the warm welcome we'd read about in the reviews. A real shame.

A beautiful town, wonderfully situated... the views are breathtaking... Oh, long live life in this wonderful Tuscan land. We arrived at Bottegia del Chic🍀 and it was a fantastic experience. A delicious steak🥩 landed on my plate with fresh truffles... and that wasn't the end of this culinary adventure! First, there were crostini, then soup Inglese, delicious!!! And the homemade limoncello, not to mention the wine!!! A wonderful culinary journey!!! I highly recommend it!!! Read less

MAGNIFICENT DISCOVERY!! We spent a vacation in Val d'Orcia and visited several restaurants. This is by far the one we liked the most for its friendliness, quality ingredients, and atmosphere. We'll be back in the winter because the interior is a real gem. Congratulations!

A welcoming restaurant located in a former artisan shop. The food was average, but over-hyped. The quality/price ratio was unbalanced. €60 for 2 people for 1 appetizer, 1 main course, 1 baked vegetable, and 2 desserts. No wine. We won't be back!
