29/08/2025: A wonderful location. Fantastic food of the highest quality, decidedly gourmet but plentiful. Excellent wine. The chef coming to say hello is fantastic. The lady in charge of the dining room is truly a lady. The surprise of the divine ambrosia at the end. We were there a few years ago. We'll be back.

08/08/2025: Dining at Ambrosia Restaurant in Cortona was an incredible culinary experience! The location is quaint and welcoming, and the dishes are superb in quality, flavors, presentation, and food pairing. But what made the experience even more special was Chef Matteo, who is not only an impeccable professional but also a warm and passionate person. We had the pleasure of attending one of his cooking classes and were won over by his passion and ability to share knowledge. I highly recommend this restaurant to food lovers, to anyone looking for a high-quality culinary experience and a welcoming atmosphere.

24/08/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this pizzeria, and I must say it was a truly satisfying experience. The dough is light, fragrant, and well-leavened, with even cooking that showcases the quality of the ingredients. The pizzas are generous, flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients, especially mozzarella and seasonal vegetables, which make every bite a delight. The restaurant is welcoming, with a simple yet refined atmosphere, perfect for a casual evening. The staff was friendly and helpful, always attentive to customer needs.

24/08/2025: Very large and also very noisy place, fast service, good pizzas. Parking is difficult.

04/09/2025: Delicious food, but expensive. We ordered four pasta dishes. One of them only came with butter. An extra-paid ingredient was forgotten. 4 plates of pasta, 4 drinks, €87 🤷

29/06/2025: We went to celebrate my daughter and surprisingly we found this Veg place with excellent cuisine, kind and welcoming staff and also excellent quality/price. I recommend you go there even if you are not vegan like me (I did it for my daughter) because it will be a pleasant experience!

29/07/2025: Tired after a long hike to the top of the fortress, we stumbled upon this restaurant. Luckily, there was room, and despite its large seating capacity, it was packed after half an hour. Despite the summer heat, we started with an excellent ribollita... delicious. We decided to continue with the main courses, enjoying a sensational apricot and mushroom stew and a tasty suckling pig with plums. It was a perfect choice: the meat was excellent, and the flavor combination was excellent. Given the generous portions, we finished the meal; even Seba, seeing the desserts, looked lovely. Excellent value.

07/08/2025: A local, popular Pizzeria making superb pizza’s. We are staying local and wanted an easy meal to enjoy and how authentic could a local pizza be. Gentleman serving us was super friendly, football being the international language. We chose 2 giant pizzas and between 4 adults there was still so much left. We had the Capo and the Bianco pizza with truffle cream and cooked ham, one of, if not the best we’ve had.

30/08/2025: We ate at this restaurant because it was one of the few open on Mondays. In short, the restaurant isn't worth the price; maybe the pizza, but we didn't try it. I wouldn't return. The pappa al pompdoro and the tagliatelle with white ragù were good. We were, however, disappointed by the meat, which wasn't even asked how we'd cooked it. The practice of not listing the cover charge (€3.50, like in Milan or Florence), water, and wine by the glass on the menu is very annoying.

14/06/2025: We stayed for 2 nights and it was brilliant. You must do the Cena in the Piazza dining event, it’s a great event and a way to socialise with the rest of the hotel guests. The hotel is beautifully located and near to small towns if you want to get out and explore.
