10/07/2025: A culinary masterpiece in Prato: Even 6 stars wouldn't be enough! What an evening! What we experienced at this restaurant in Prato was simply fantastic and deserves far more than just five stars. It was a feast for the senses, from the warm welcome to the last, unforgettable bite. As soon as we entered, we were greeted personally by the chef, which immediately gave the evening a very personal touch. The service was excellent, attentive, and always unobtrusive throughout the evening. Another highlight was the personalized advice from the chef herself on the dishes on the daily menu – an appreciation rarely experienced and which gave us deep insights into the philosophy and passion behind the creations. A wine journey of the highest order The wine recommendation was simply amazing! I've never tasted a better Vermentino – this white wine was a revelation and paired perfectly with our appetizers. The recommendation for the main course, a local Feronio, was so fitting that we spontaneously decided to change our itinerary to visit the wine-growing region. The fact that the chef even put us in touch with the winemaker demonstrates the exceptional hospitality and desire to offer guests a completely perfect experience. Culinary delights you'll never forget The dishes themselves were of a quality rarely found. For our starter, we chose the "Nel blu dipinto di blu" – a variation of three fishes that, eaten in the recommended order, were an absolute delight. The subtle nuances and freshness of the ingredients were simply impressive. The pickled anchovies with cucumber and celery were also a delight, sending the taste buds on a wonderful journey. The primi piatti continued this delight: the stuffed shrimp ravioli with pesto Genovese and zucchini blossoms were a dream. Perfectly balanced in size and filling, they were the best homemade ravioli I've ever eaten – a true homage to Italian culinary art. The spaghetti with butter and anchovies was also a highlight. Perfectly cooked "al dente," the anchovy sauce melted into a homogenous culinary delight that melted in the mouth. But the highlight was the secondi piatti: a duck breast with glazed carrots and three sauces. The duck breast was crispy and cooked to perfection, while the three sauces formed a creamy blend of individual components, the likes of which I've never experienced before. Each component was a small work of art in its own right, and together they created a harmony that was simply captivating. All in all, it was an incredibly fine, delicious, and wonderful evening. The entire team, with passion and dedication, created an experience that went far beyond an ordinary restaurant visit. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience and the wonderful conversations! We will never forget this evening in Prato and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

01/09/2025: Great food, but the place was not suited for families with kids, even though we have made a reservation and mentioned it. We have waited much longer than expected for the table, we had to ask for it on our own.

27/08/2025: A regular stop every year, for several years. A fixed menu based on the catch, service at fixed times for everyone, under a beautiful pergola featuring different grape varieties. Paola and her family are, as always, kind and welcoming, serving simple but well-prepared dishes. Always available and attentive to children's needs. Highly recommended.

19/08/2025: When we left Brazil and came to Florence, we had the goal of visiting Osteria Pastella. What a magnificent experience! Order the pasta, which is made right at the table, dipped in a huge grana padano cheese. Simply sensational!

18/08/2025: A great place. We visited the lunch service and had the Tartufo Flambe (Pasta all Ruota) and it was amazing! One pf the best pastas we ever had.

10/08/2025: Exceptional service, a very good beer and cocktail menu. It has screens for watching sports; it's a very cozy place. If I return to Florence, I'll return to this pub too; I loved it.

30/07/2025: The beer was alright, service was ok but nothing impressing. Don't go there at the end of the day since there will be 10s of guys carrying very loud carriage to close their pop up shops on the plaza nearby. Killed the vibe and made us want to go elsewhere.

31/08/2025: Enchanting location, breathtaking view. The staff is nice, very polite and competent. All very young but truly professional. The dishes offered are sublime, to be eaten with the eyes too. At the end you will also find a surprise: the price!! You would have paid double without a word. Well done well done.

15/08/2025: First and last time I've come to this restaurant. Extremely slow and inattentive service (empty glass bottles remained on the table until the end). Decent food quality. Beautiful setting, suitable for special occasions.

07/09/2025: The place was a complete disappointment! Even though we were so looking forward to it. The eggplant served with the steak appeared to have been fried in fish-based fat. The portions were very small, and the food was far from freshly prepared.

06/09/2025: Breakfast in the square overlooking the Duomo. Delicious croissants and coffee, with a wide selection. Professional, friendly, and helpful staff. Lunch and aperitif available (we didn't have either, but it all looked very inviting).

03/08/2025: Excellent food in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. During our stay on Elba, we chose Panigacci almost every night. Their specialty is panigacci, both boiled and cooked. These are not local to the island, but rather from Lunigiana, but have a special flavor on Elba. The octopus, fried fish, and grilled meats are excellent. The bill is the final highlight of a pleasant evening.

02/08/2025: A wonderful experience. Watching the chef bake the panigacci in the large oven in the garden, and then tasting them while they're still hot... We also recommend the squid ink risotto and the purple potato gnocchi with scampi and pistachios. Friendly staff and a relaxing location.

16/07/2025: The only restaurant, bar, etc. in the town of Monte Pescali. Overall, the food is good, and the staff are friendly. Parking is a bit difficult 200 meters away due to the steep road.

14/07/2025: I last went before Covid when it was just down the road. But the pizzas and pasta did not disappoint. A 4 cheeses pizza was lovely and others enjoyed wild pug ragu with papadelle.
