24/10/2025: It was an amazing experience. The place is simply lovely, the hosts were amazing and we would definitely come back. The food was very good as well, cannot recommend it enough.

12/10/2025: Total disappointment. We had chosen Il Rigo as the venue for our wedding, but the weekend experience we spent there to meet them was terrible in many ways. The food is very basic and not even remotely up to the standard of a wedding. They boast about being organic and locally sourced, but we shouldn't confuse healthy with banal and neglected. A dinner at their restaurant has a fixed, unchangeable menu and costs €40 per person, with truly disappointing dishes. We also came to see the place to try the wedding menu, and they offered vegetable soup for the first dinner. What do you mean, excuse me? How can I offer vegetable soup at my wedding in July? But they reply, "That's how we work." Fine, let's move on. Cats and dogs roam the breakfast room and reception (we even saw a dog on the dining tables), and when we pointed out that some guests might be allergic and asked if they could be kept away during our event, the response was simply, "Sorry, but they live here." The owner, despite knowing we were coming from over 400 km away, didn't even show up when we arrived—she only showed up the next morning, looking disinterested. The hairdryer in the room exploded with sparks while I was using it, nearly burning me, and not only did they not apologize, they even made inappropriate jokes. The breakfast buffet is truly meager, and I'm not lying when I say it consists only of a few cured meats and cheeses, two homemade cakes, bread, and jam. STOP In conclusion, we naturally decided to pass on the venue, and I must say that the owner initially made a good gesture, telling us she'd refund half of the deposit we'd paid, or €500 of the €1,000 we'd paid. The problem is that she probably changed her mind and replied that since we'd used a €200 voucher to come and see the venue, she'd only refund us €300. Now, explain to me how you can calculate a starting €1,000, minus the €200 voucher, to half the deposit equal to €300. At my house, that's €400. So, adding insult to injury. In conclusion, this is a place that only survives thanks to foreign tourists captivated by two cypress trees and a caprese salad as the main course at a wedding. Absolutely not recommended.

08/09/2025: I needed some pastries to take to a friend's for lunch, and after searching on Maps, I decided to stop here. Although the place was quite crowded, the staff was quick and courteous in serving me. The selection of small pastries isn't huge, but it's still varied. Some of the pastries were really small, and the price, €1 each, was perhaps a bit high for their size. The counter in the center of the place is very scenic and attractive.

09/08/2025: Had a great evening there. Food was amazing, as well as the service. Quite a fair price for the quality and a surprising mix of Tuscan cuisine, rounded of with amazing Asian dishes. Seems that the cook offers only his or her favorites and doesn’t follow any dogmas. In a group of eight everyone found something they wanted and liked. Really super nice.

27/09/2025: The lampredotto was truly delicious! It was cooked so well, I even ordered another one. The owner, just listening to his anecdotes and his honesty, deserves five stars!

20/10/2025: We arrived at the restaurant on Sunday with a reservation made a week in advance, and given the 1,600 reviews, we went in without a doubt, though without reading them. So, for what we ate, we certainly spent a lot, but that wouldn't have been a problem if it weren't for all the mistakes made by the inattentive, almost improvised service, as well as at checkout, which, due to the errors and wait times alone, could have been offset by 0.42 cents from the separate bills.

19/10/2025: Stopped on the road. Good parking. Had a pork fillet with mashed potatoes and a glass of red. Great food. Fresh wv and otherwise cozy atmosphere both in the garden and inside.

31/08/2025: We chose AcaciAmare in Marina di Castagneto because it had been recommended as a charming location, ideal for a seaside dinner, but unfortunately our experience didn't live up to our expectations. Due to the wind, we stayed inside, in a very simple room with plastic curtains: nothing serious, but definitely far from the atmosphere the restaurant could offer with its terrace. The service, understandably slowed down initially by the crowd, however, left much to be desired: customers who arrived after us were served first because they knew a waiter who then sat at their table. The hardest part was the live karaoke music: it was so loud, it was impossible to converse. One of our very kind waiters lowered the volume at our request, but unfortunately, it was raised shortly afterward, and the situation became unbearable again. It hadn't been reported, and for those looking for a quiet evening, it becomes truly annoying. As for the food, nothing memorable: spaghetti with clams with several broken shells, calamari was good but in very small portions. Furthermore, some desserts (the cannoli) were reserved exclusively for guests, which left us perplexed. In short, a restaurant with great potential thanks to its location, but it should pay more attention to the overall customer experience: not just the food, but also the service and atmosphere.

22/10/2025: …on the occasion of my trip to Tuscany!!…with a group of people!!…from an agency in my city!!…I stopped for lunch here!!…at the “Il Portico” farmhouse!!…so I am in Capalbio!!…and I am precisely three kilometers away!!…and this structure is located!!…in a quiet location!!…immersed in the wonderful nature of the Tuscan Maremma!!…I was served a good appetizer!!…a good first course!!…followed by the second course and then a fantastic tiramisu!!…all typical products!!…with the true flavor of Tuscany!!…dishes brought to the table by the owner!!…he did everything!!…zero waiting time!!…what can I say!!…I ate really well!!…here at the “Il Portico” farmhouse!!…the authentic dishes of Tuscan cuisine!!…yes!!!…I would gladly go back again!!…🍽️🎉👌💯🔝⬆️‼️

19/10/2025: We would normally have given 5 stars, but this time only 3. The pools were all closed, even when it was 25°C and sunny, which can happen if the property deems it appropriate (they are normally open from May 1 to October 1). One point less for this decision, which went against what we were told when booking, and for the disappointment of the children; another for the refusal to provide a sun lounger to an 85-year-old guest. The staff remains friendly and competent, but obviously bound by management's decisions. We hope the property will invest a little more in maintenance of the property and in attention to guests next season.

19/10/2025: When vacationing in Tuscany, you have to think carefully about the right location to keep the distances somewhat under control. This was perfect for us; the complex is very well-maintained and beautifully designed. There are many vacation apartments and a few rooms, like a village in its own right.

17/11/2025: I hired your catering service for an inauguration, and the service was impeccable: precision, punctuality, and respect for the agreed-upon terms. The food and drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them!

25/10/2025: I think I stopped here every night for dinner or just a snack while in Pisa. Loved the Medievale (salami, mushroom sauce OMG SO GOOD!) and the Lounge (chicken, tomato, lettuce, some kind of magic sauce the name of which I've forgotten). The fries were great (c'mon, Italy, you even do French fries well?), and the tiramisu was worth every penny. The staff were friendly and helpful, and even helped my poor Italian language skills. Very welcoming, and great for eat in or take away.

15/10/2025: The piadina is barely adequate. The traditional one, there's no way to make it with stracchino. The cooked ham is flavorless. The atmosphere is characterless. The service is poor, they don't even recommend their specials; I saw them while I was eating... What a shame!

16/09/2025: We eat here often and always leave satisfied. The quality/price ratio is amazing. Casual atmosphere, fast service, and good food!
