A pleasant surprise! We were on a trip to Pisa and, turning down a street earlier than expected, we stumbled upon this restaurant. Lunch menu for €15 with a choice of three dishes, water and cover charge included. Everything was really good and the portions generous.

Just excellent. Great food, great value and welcome break from pasta.

À la carte sushi: very good and excellent quality The price is normal for À la carte sushi, but the quality of the dishes is definitely noticeable compared to an all-you-can-eat restaurant.

We've been frequenting this restaurant for over five years (and quite often), so our opinion is now well-established and objective. First, in all these five years and more, we've never had any complaints about the food—not even the slightest hint of digestive issues, which is often a concern when visiting certain places. The quality of the ingredients and food safety are definitely one of Nishiki Koi's strong points. Second, the owners are wonderful people, very kind and pleasant to deal with. In all these years, there has never been a single unpleasant or controversial situation. And finally, their salmon tacos: they are truly mind-blowing, a real compliment to the chefs! Every time I order them, it's like it's the first time; the balance of flavors is incredible. We sincerely hope the owners maintain this passion and dedication to their work. Such high-quality places are lacking not only in Pisa, but in many other Italian cities I've visited. We wish you much prosperity!

We had Chinese food, very good, well prepared and presented, good portions. Fast service, reasonably priced for Pisa.
