This has become my go-to place for a good breakfast in Viareggio. Fresh and delicious pastries, a wide selection of sweet and savory options, buttery croissants, and if you're lucky, hot ones. Excellent coffee and cappuccino. Plenty of seating both inside the café and outside on the sidewalk. I recommend it because they also have a wide selection of takeaway savoury dishes and desserts. Breakfast is always a pleasure!

A very elegant place, but the strong point is the products, the house specialty, the grandmother's cake, is delicious, the prices are not excessive and the quality is high.

A well-known pastry shop in the center of Viareggio, near the market, and I'd say longstanding. Always crowded for breakfast and their specialty desserts. The staff is professional and the prices are fair for the quality, a little above average. Definitely worth a try.

A fairly large pastry shop, with a wide selection of pastries and sweet cakes, very good coffee, and one of the best hazelnut spreads I've ever tasted! Welcoming place, very friendly staff.

16/05/2026: Fine and not expensive The decor is pleasantly timeless, just like the menu. Authentic dishes. Wine by the bottle, lots of choice but a somewhat pricey selection, so I went for the cheaper house wine at €7 for half a liter. Was okay. Nice cured meats, cheese, and Crostini platter. Guinea fowl with patates al forno. Unfortunately, the sauce on the scallopina al vino Bianco seemed a bit of a failure. Watery and lacking in wine flavor. The desserts, however, were fine, especially crema catalana and cantucci with vin santo. Not a 5 because of that wine sauce before the food. It got quite busy with two larger groups. All in all, a pleasant place and adequate service.

18/03/2026: Typical Viareggio atmosphere, a little dated but welcoming. The sandwiches are good but definitely deserve a second and third try because their menu is so extensive: there's truly something for everyone! The vegetarian option was truly delicious!!!
