27/08/2025: This place was advertised to us as one of the best in the area. Perhaps our expectations were a little too high, but we found the value for money to be poor. Too expensive for the quantity of food offered, and the quality wasn't spectacular either. Very pleasant atmosphere.

14/08/2025: Good food, but the wrong meat and chaotic service I went to Restaurant Giacomo and honestly expected more. After ordering, a portion arrived that I thought must be a joke. The menu said "Beef" – which, to me and everyone else, clearly means beef. The server then explained to me in Italian that in Italy, "beef" can also refer to different types of meat. To me, that sounded more like an excuse, especially since I had specifically asked before ordering how large the portion was and whether the meat was good. The answer was "yes" – but in the end, they served pork instead of beef. I sent that back. On top of that, I asked three times for a sweet wine, which I wanted to have with dessert – as is customary in Italy. The server explained to me that it's only served after dinner and didn't want to bring it to me beforehand. However, in my opinion, it should be my decision when to drink the wine. The food itself was delicious, but the main course didn't satisfy me. Finally, I received an incorrect bill: instead of €88, I was charged €126. This was corrected at the counter before I paid, but it shouldn't have happened.

22/08/2025: We had dinner with the family and we ate very well. Excellent food, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

19/08/2025: They sold us two "pizzone" for the price of two pizzas, but they were much smaller! Very poor quality/price ratio.

17/08/2025: Absolutely amazing!! I was looking for an ice cream shop that made Dubai ice cream. This one came up with the most reviews on Google. And they have tons of delicious flavors, including zuppa inglese, Pokemon ice cream, Sicilian waterfall, punto, Dubai, chess cake, etc. Really great! Highly recommended!

12/08/2025: Very good ice cream! Unfortunately, one of the two employees is very unpleasant if you don't speak Italian; he doesn't even want to speak English! (PS: he has glasses and a tattoo on his right neck; avoid him for a better experience!)

21/08/2025: Nice place and cappuccino made quite well, the pastries are nicely filled but unfortunately ours didn't seem fresh at all... too bad

19/08/2025: This review only covers the ice cream parlor, the one we tried. The ice cream is average, nothing special. There are no special flavors. The price is high, requiring you to buy two flavors per cup/cone (€3). If you ask for a single-flavor ice cream for children, they turn up their noses and, a little annoyed, give you a cup with one (tiny) scoop for €2. I don't recommend it.

28/06/2025: Yet another pastry shop that tells us that good desserts do not exist in Siena. Always the same things, heavy cakes, pastries that seem old, tasteless creams. Heavy doughs, full of butter. Always the same biscuit layers, filling and icing. Maybe those who eat these types of desserts have never tasted others.

29/05/2025: Excellent pastry shop at the gates of the city. Delicious sweets, you can also find delicious savory tartines, with shrimp, salmon, etc... top! Also the coffee is delicious! Welcoming and kind service. Free parking 5 meters away.

24/08/2025: I always stop by when I'm passing through, especially during aperitif time in the evening. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent cocktails and a good selection of wines. I recommend it.

15/08/2025: This is the second time I've been to this place, and they don't bring me the ingredients listed on the menu, without warning. I ordered poke because it had avocado, and my plate was missing the avocado. The other time I ordered a cheese focaccia, and they put mozzarella on it. I won't be going back.

27/08/2025: Beautiful trattoria! Typically Tuscan friendliness from the waiters :) Divine handmade pici with garlic, bread with liver and panna cotta with vin santo, and cantucci, all made to perfection! Congratulations!

17/08/2025: A small, well-maintained restaurant. The menu is original and the ingredients are high-quality. We had lunch here with the family on a Sunday: we were outside on the small terrace, and despite the heat, the atmosphere was airy and delightful. Clean bathroom, excellent value.

10/08/2025: The freshest fish served on the beach front, fast friendly service and lovely wine. Highly recommend the cozze and the mixed grill fish. The steak was huge!

02/06/2025: Very nice ice cream shop, good ice creams and made by them. Excellent quality/price.

07/08/2025: This hotel is 25 minutes from the Duomo, but very closed to the theatre and the tramway, so depends on where you want to go. They do bot have their own parking, and outsource their parking, which needs 1 hour notice in advance. Rooms are okay, but their mattress is stiff and you can feel the spring, and they don't have thinner pillows. It's not comfortable for sleep. And they are not very eco-friendly, they don't recycle in rooms and the air conditioning doesn't turn off when you open the windows, electricity doesn't get cut off when you exit.

05/08/2025: Very convenient for visiting Florence. Renovated, on the banks of the Arno. Ideal for a walk or a morning run. Renovated hotel, very decent and clean rooms. The rooftop restaurant offers great views of the city and good food. I found the breakfast average, and parking a bit expensive considering it's not in the city center. A very pleasant 20-minute walk to Ponte Vecchio.

10/08/2025: I went with my girlfriend for dinner. The view was fantastic, and the food was equally as good. I recommend it for a private dinner with your partner. The menu is extensive and the prices are reasonable.
