I'm halfway satisfied with my experience at this restaurant in Forte dei Marmi. The location is enchanting, beautifully decorated, and welcoming. I was perplexed by what I ate, or rather, I didn't particularly like it in itself. I tried the tuna steak as an appetizer, and it wasn't very tasty. I expected better, but the disappointment was the tagliolini with scampi and truffle. In my opinion, it was overcooked and not homemade. The scampi wasn't very noticeable either, but the truffle "saved" the dish. Both the shrimp carpaccio and the seafood pasta my girlfriend ordered were very good. The staff is very kind, but not always attentive. I waited over 20 minutes for my coffee (which hadn't been marked) and the bill. Prices are in line with the location and the town.

Don't waste your time at a mediocre restaurant with poor service. There are more aesthetically pleasing and delicious places with good service in this city for the same price. They don't even fillet the fish of the day in front of you, the truffles are finely grated, only 3 stars.

Great food and service, my tip, book early to avoid disappointment and go for the first sitting as you may have a wait later.

Gilda is an upscale restaurant and beach club. The ambiance is delightful, right on the beach, with atmospheric lighting in the evenings and a chic clientele. For our first course, we had oysters, followed by minestrone and scampi vapore as appetizers. For our main courses, we had fritto and lobster, king crab, and scampi. The oysters were well-presented with vinaigrette and lemon on ice. The meat was a little dry. The minestrone was thick and somewhat coarse, but flavorful. The lobster main course and the scampi from Viareggio were definitely the highlight; the meat was buttery, and the shellfish were rich and flavorful. The scampi are quite expensive, but well worth the price. The lobster was outstanding, but the side dish was a bit uninspired (a large, chopped piece of salad?). The service was respectful and professional, but could be improved. The waiters rotated frequently, but you always had a consistent three-waiter rotation. ... The wine advice at the beginning was understanding but not helpful; we chose a Franchiacorta from Brescia. The food arrived at the right time, but the waiters weren't very enthusiastic or eager to explain things. All in all, I would recommend this restaurant to a couple looking for a sophisticated dining experience in Forte dei Marmi. Thank you very much.

Honestly, the best restaurant in Forte dei Marmi! The food is on another level! You can’t compare it to anywhere else. Every dish was absolutely incredible. The staff made the whole experience even better, everyone was so warm, friendly, and welcoming. I can’t recommend this place enough and I will definitely be coming back many more times!

Very fresh, especially the fish and seafood, as well as the pasta. Excellent service, dogs and children welcome. We've been there several times and had a great time!
