21/10/2025: The aperitif was very good. The alcohol could have been better, but the platters, and therefore the food on the platters, were very good and varied. 23/09/2025: We've been coming here for a few years, but this is the first time we've written a review, because the place deserves it. We've almost always ordered the so-called tourist menu, which isn't touristy at all: always impeccable fish starters, an excellent mixed fried fish main course, side dishes, and even wine at a more than fair price. Add to that the very friendly and courteous staff and the beautiful view of the Rio Marina harbor, and it's one of the best restaurants on Elba. Congratulations to the management and staff, and see you next year! We want to try the pizza, which looks wonderful...

16/09/2025: I visited the place on a weekday in September, it was moderately busy. Great food, service was okay, but the 3 euros for bread and water surprised me on the bill.

02/09/2025: Everything was delicious and high-quality, and the price was right if you're looking to satiate your craving for fish. The staff was kind and courteous. Add to this the charming view of the harbor at night. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be back. I returned again six years later, this time on a Monday lunchtime in late August. Same management. I can confirm the overall positive experience. Personally, I recommend trying the Caciucco, one of Livorno's typical dishes that I really enjoyed at this restaurant.

04/11/2025: Food quality, but they forget to say thank you and goodbye We chose this restaurant on recommendation. Good cuisine with sophisticated dishes and seasonings that enhance the dishes. However, for example, for the gnocchi with red shrimp, as you can see in my photos, the quantity of 4 shrimp was not up to par with the price of the dish. It's a shame to skimp so much on the ingredients because the dishes were very good. Other dishes, like the mixed fried fish and carpaccio, are also good. All washed down with a bottle of Prosecco Dirupo Valdobbiadene DOCG Brut (a small problem often encountered in restaurants: the presecco is not fresh enough). As for the service and staff, nothing special. Oh yes, one thing special; the bare minimum is to say thank you and goodbye to the customer when they leave after paying. So for that, instead of 4, I'll give you 2!

04/11/2025: Honestly, I expected more. The menu offers a good sense of tradition, but both my Maremma tortelloni and, especially, my father's roast wild boar were just okay. The location was lovely, and the staff were friendly. The price was average, but a little more than I expected. The house red was very good.

22/10/2025: It's a real trattoria, we ate well and the service was very kind, despite the place being full, there was little waiting time and the atmosphere was quiet.

19/08/2025: We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The pasta was outstanding. We even had the house's own olive oil for sale. The service was very attentive and spoke English. Simply fantastic. Because we rented a small house in the complex, we received an additional 10% discount – a great bonus. There's also live music on Fridays – and you can relax in hammocks among the olive trees in the garden. A great location not far from the center of Forte. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

10/03/2025: Sono stata recentemente in questo ristorante con un gruppo di amiche e siamo rimaste davvero soddisfatte. Il cibo è eccellente e di qualità. Il locale è accogliente, molto ben arredato, creando un’atmosfera rilassante. Lo staff è molto preparato, professionale e gentile. Un’esperienza che consiglio vivamente e che ripeterò sicuramente!
