25/06/2025: We hadn't even finished eating when our plates were taken away. The waiters were unfriendly. We didn't speak Spanish, and they laughed at us for trying. We already knew the price was expensive, but the quality was terrible. The only downside is the excellent location. I don't recommend it at all.

04/09/2025: A nice, very hospitable place. The service is good because you don't really miss anything, with kindness and helpfulness. But I'm giving the food 3 stars not so much because it wasn't good but because the value for money is a bit cheesy. It's okay if you charge me a certain amount per kilo for a certain type of meat, but you can't charge me the same amount for a steak of the same meat, including a fillet and a neck area full of fat that needs to be discarded. I repeat, the food is good, but when you come across someone who knows what's on their plate, you're remiss. Other than that, it was a very pleasant evening, so good value for money. Not fair. Once I pointed this out, the owner made amends, even offering a discount.

25/08/2025: Wonderful steak-focused restaurant with a good selection of wine. The proprietor served all the tables when we were there and was so lovely and personable, he made you feel welcome and at home. The tartare and primi were excellent, and we really enjoyed the prussian bistec. The filet portion was best—we would maybe order a filet each next time.

15/06/2025: Excellent culinary experience, freshly cooked and with a "home" flavour. The management is very kind with a strong family atmosphere. It has outdoor tables but the internal room is much more characteristic and intimate.

30/08/2025: Nothing to complain about about the place, it's Piazza del Campo. The waiters are very well-prepared and friendly. I come here often; the last time I had guests, some of the dishes were excellent. Yesterday I had a Tuscan burger; I didn't like it, it had a strange flavor. My wife had an elephant ear; it was good, but it was too tall to be called an elephant ear.

14/08/2025: We had an incredibly memorable, unique and delicious dinner during our trip through Tuscany at Tar-Tufo. The five-course truffle tasting menu included a variety of well thought out and beautifully presented dishes, all paired with wines which were intentionally chosen to match both the food and our personal preferences. One of us does not eat red meat nor enjoy red wine, yet the owner and the kitchen were very accommodating with both the ingredients and a separate wine pairing for one of us featuring all delicious white wines from across the country. For both the meal and the view, I could not recommend Tar-Tufo enough!

10/08/2025: A very quaint place in the center of Montelupo. The food is excellent, every dish is truly delicious. The cod is incredible, one of the best I've ever had; it melted in my mouth. Giacomo looked after us all evening; he's a very kind and friendly guy. We'll definitely be back.

08/09/2025: Informal, laid-back atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, wonderful food, at least what I had, recommended by the waitresses. Worth a visit...or even two!

06/09/2025: Excellent appetizer (the trio), excellent spaghetti with mussels, and also the cod. You need to be patient, though, as the service is slow. So, recommended for those who aren't in a hurry. I wouldn't recommend dessert.

30/07/2025: The service was terrible, the wonton filling wasn't worth the price, and the dry wonton seasoning was incredibly salty, even for someone who's been eating noodles with oil, vinegar, and chili in a soup. The worst part was the ordering experience. The first person who took my order was a semi-black man with terrible spoken English. He was quite impatient when he expressed his inability to understand. The waitress was replaced by a Chinese woman. I thought I'd speak Chinese, but she smiled faintly and stared at me, insisting on speaking English. I can still instantly recall that undeniable hostility. Since the proprietress looks nice and was polite, and she chatted with me for a bit, I'll give her two stars (sigh, one star might get deleted!). I'll never be tempted by a Chinese dumpling shop again in winter. 🤭🤌🏻 By the way, the shop is incredibly large and deep, so the seating was packed and the place was empty. But their attitude was even more amusing.

15/08/2025: The place is beautiful, the staff is nice, but in a restaurant the first thing to consider is the food, unfortunately the quality of the dishes is not in line with the prices.

28/07/2025: The restaurant served us a fantastic culinary experience. The wait staff was truly professional and courteous. Highly recommended. I can't comment on the rooms because I didn't use them.
