First time visit. Wonderful quiet peaceful location. Good escape. Sit inside and enjoy the staff and atmosphere. We had the bruschetta and cheese. Two pasta dishes were tasty and really good as well. We were made to feel so welcome like family.

I stumbled upon this place for the first time during Lucca Comics 2019, and the first thing that struck me was the atmosphere, which, though small, is very welcoming and warm. Their pizza is the second thing that stuck with me! Thin, crispy, with truly tasty ingredients. The staff is always incredibly friendly, even despite the incredible chaos during the comics season, and they make you feel at home! Today I came here to eat with my girlfriend, for the first time outside of the comics festival atmosphere, and I can confirm that I'm only more convinced that this is my favorite place to eat in Lucca! Delicious appetizers, always top-notch pizza, excellent service! Highly recommended!

If there were more stars, I would add them. A place that made me and everyone around me feel cozy, especially in Italy. The food, which is prepared with a lot of love, speaks of the characteristic flavors of the region and the sense of home and comfort. The staff... I simply cannot describe the way they welcome each guest, the attention and patience with which they serve them. We came back again and again. THANK YOU!❤️

There are two of us. Small but cute and well-kept place. Reservations recommended. We chose between the à la carte menu and the dish of the day. Pecorino and honey appetizer (very good). Lemon veal cutlet and mixed salad. Off-menu: pork shank cooked in beer with roast potatoes. Everything was good, the staff were always very friendly. WE had a great time and the food was even better!!!

27/04/2026: As long as I can remember, I've eaten here from time to time, even when Il Cantuccio was in another location. I've always had a great time, even yesterday, when I was having my first "official" outing with the baby... so I was a little nervous. We were supported in every way, and in the end, everything calmed down. The baby was happy with the food, as was the whole table. Il Cantuccio is like family. I can't recommend it highly enough.
20/04/2026: Today we went with the family for lunch and everything was perfect, I recommend it

26/04/2026: Excellent quality, excellent service, excellent staff. Beautiful and inviting atmosphere.
26/04/2026: Rather than having a star rating, it should be protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The food was excellent, the restaurant was very elegant and well-kept, the service staff were extremely efficient, and the price/portion ratio was excellent, which is not to be underestimated these days. Always recommend generous portions, I'll keep an eye on you ;-) Thank you, and keep up the good work.
