What can I say?
First of all, the instinctive friendliness of the girls who welcomed and served us.
Then the pizzas... even though the menu lists 5 or 6, I can't remember right now. They're really, really good.
Plus, the prices are very fair.
I'll definitely be back.

21/10/2025: It is a good local sushi place in Terrasini with a buffet menu based in sushi maki, hosomaki, nigiri, temaki, sashimi, gunkan maki, uramaki, chirashi, etc, with balanced rice (not overcooked) and fresh fish and
dishes are ordered from a tablet and made on order. Clean and reasonably priced. Drinks are charges apart but also reasonably. Great variety. Good starters. Their dumplings are also tasty, also miso soup is comforting. Good service
24/09/2025: We've been coming to Sushi Hai in Terrasini since they took over, they're a guarantee 🤤. Everything is always fresh (even the wine served by the glass), excellent service, and a warm welcome. Prices are average, but satisfaction is guaranteed. We've been coming here for lunch/dinner at least once a week now. Top top top 💯🔝

22/10/2025: There fir water and maybe cornetto late morning. Snotty waiter let us wait 15 minutes before showing up. We asked for our waters and menu. Said no menu as it was not yet lunch. He left. When he had not returned 20 minutes later we left. Suspect not a fan of tourists. Oh well.

08/09/2025: On Saturday, September 6th, we celebrated my nephew's baptism. Naturally, we booked this place because we'd already tried it; well, everything was superb! The dinner was fresh and perfectly cooked, the staff was very attentive and punctual, the place was clean, and the owners were always courteous and helpful!
03/09/2025: A historic restaurant in Bagheria, located on the top floor of the building that houses the Hotel Centrale, overlooking Piazza Sepolcro, you'll find excellent traditional cuisine and an excellent pizzeria, always using fresh ingredients. The pizza chef is among the best in Italy. The view of the square from its terrace is truly beautiful, even if you don't dine outside. It's also a popular venue for banquets and special occasions. I highly recommend it. Accessed through the Hotel Centrale entrance, go upstairs and you'll find a lovely Sicilian-style dining room with majolica tiles and frescoes, but what really matters is the food. The staff is always attentive and knowledgeable.

28/09/2025: The pastries are good, but I must unfortunately report some unprofessional behavior from some of the employees. They get too familiar with customers, using an overly informal and, at times, intrusive tone. I understand the desire to create a friendly atmosphere, but there should be more respect for customers' personal space and privacy. A little more discretion and professionalism would certainly improve the overall experience.
28/08/2025: A small pastry shop with a few outdoor tables and too many good things inside. A cute girl looked at me and disappeared. I was thinking of leaving, a little disappointed, but I realized she was the only one running the entire bar. In the end, she came back smiling, and I even forgave her nose piercing. I drank a coffee and ate an incredible slice of pizza. At the end, the gorgeous girl gave me a small brittle with pistachio, and I was enchanted. The brittle was worth stopping right there in front of the Madonie Park Authority, and brittle after brittle, take over the bar and start again from there. She is truly beautiful, kind, and polite. Worth the trip from Rome.

Friendly welcome and service.
The food, however, is very simple and more like grandmother's recipes.
For a restaurant, more elaborate dishes would be appreciated.
If you're looking for a quick, traditional meal, you can go to this establishment, but don't expect an explosion of flavors.
Don't try the Spritz; Aperol and beer don't necessarily go well together 😅

08/08/2025: A small place with a wide selection of flavors, including Poké ice cream, of course... Too bad they didn't have fresh fruit to serve with this tasty new treat! Outside, you can sit on benches or chairs on a raised platform, right after paying (no table service).
24/07/2025: I had two delicious, artisanal lemon granitas for €3 each. The gelateria also has a terrace where you can sit and enjoy their products.

14/10/2025: Porta TERRIBLE. The setting is lovely and the service okay. The staff were polite. All the makings of a decent restaurant here. But the food is beyond abysmal. AVOID. I struggle to describe what an insult to Italian cuisine this place is, even to an ignorant British tourist like myself. Stale supermarket bread, frozen reconstituted mashed potatoes advertised as roasted, a ‘mixed salad’ consisting of enormous chunks of iceberg lettuce and tinned sweetcorn; and, to add insult to injury, a primo of tortellini that was no better (and possibly worse) than a £2 bag of fresh ravioli from Tesco. This was quite simply the worst Italian meal I have ever had—your local British cafe will do better. I wish I could be more positive.
13/10/2025: Dinner at Porta Terra Restaurant in the heart of Cefalù. An elegant and refined venue, with truly excellent service: friendly, professional, and very attentive staff. The Sicilian appetizer, though a bit small in quantity, was nevertheless good and beautifully presented. The other courses were also tasty and well-prepared, with quality ingredients.
The only downside was the slightly high bill for the portions. Overall, however, the experience was positive, thanks to the pleasant atmosphere and excellent service.
