03/07/2025: Clean place, very friendly staff especially the lady and the waiter. The food was not perfect, pizza was difficult to chew and digest. The fish was excellent. The dessert was delicious.

07/09/2025: Calling this place a pizzeria is going too far! I ordered the Margherita pizza and it was terrible! The tomato sauce (probably passata) was all watered down and sweet, not to mention the sugar. The mozzarella was acceptable, but the pizza was very heavy... rubbery. The swordfish caponata was the worst I've ever had during my entire stay in Palermo... I think it contained something similar to fish fingers... well-known frozen products.

25/08/2025: On our arrival night in Palermo, we went for a late night stroll from where we were staying and stumbled on this ice cream parlour by accident. We were drawn to it as many people were sitting outside, some with young children… this was around midnight to 1am on a Thursday night, yet the atmosphere amongst the Sicilians and these kids was lovely to watch as every adult embraced them. However, back to review - the ice creams were delicious and so many flavours to choose from too! Thereafter this first amazing experience, we decided on our exclusions around the city to checked out other ice cream places but we were never tempted by those as they didn’t have as many great flavours as this one! Cos of the lovely vibe outside their premises and the fab generous portions/flavours, we returned each night of our stay in Palermo. Great value - a Large cup with 3 scoops only €4! Bellissimo! 😍

13/08/2025: We're back after many years. The atmosphere is still great, but the food is all prepackaged. The skewers in the boxes in the fridge (in Palermo!) are out of your reach. I really don't understand the cover charge at a sandwich/appetizer shop, and for the quality of the food, the prices are high.

06/08/2025: I was a regular customer thirty years ago... and then I never went back.... today I tried again... and I went back in time... with an excellent white beer on tap, a delicious mixed fried appetizer and above all the sandwich... just like a long time ago... exquisite!!

25/06/2025: One of the first challenges when dining in Rome is telling tourist traps apart from truly authentic Italian spots — and this place is the real deal! The food was absolutely delicious; my wife, kids, and I enjoyed every dish we tried. The prices were very reasonable, and the staff was exceptionally friendly, offering great recommendations throughout our visit. Highly recommended!

23/08/2025: A good Sicilian cannolo, very traditional, with ricotta that was a bit sugary in my opinion. The wafer was good, but not the best I've ever had. If you're in the Porto area, I recommend it, and I think the ice cream is excellent too. The staff were truly kind and welcoming, unlike any other in Sicily!

15/08/2025: The service is wonderful, making the gelato a pleasure to eat. I tried the tangerine, mango, exotic, and blueberry varieties. The lime granita was delicious. The best I've ever had. The perfect accompaniment to everything were the wonderfully delicious almond cookies with tangerine zest. Gelato is a company steeped in tradition, founded by Piero's father, who runs it with his beautiful young wife. I wholeheartedly recommend it ❤️🥰 I'll be back tomorrow too 😘🍋🍋‍🟩💋

19/08/2025: La Sirenetta is a place where you definitely eat great, the flaw of this place is that if you get there on the weekend it's a mess finding a seat, while as for the service it's a bit poor but we appreciate the effort, I highly recommend the fantastic sabbiate as a first course, average price.

03/06/2025: Dinner based on fresh fish, appetizer, first and second course for two, it was worth the money. The squid in the mixed grill was overcooked but the rest was good.

06/07/2025: It is located in a strategic point, near the exit of the cruise ships. The culinary proposals are very good, the coffee is excellent, you can also have lunch both inside, equipped with air conditioning, and outside on a large well-made door.
