02/03/2025: Bonter is a great place to have a drink in Palermo! We ordered the Bronx, Cosmopolitan, Paloma and White Lady - all of them were perfectly prepared, perfectly balanced and full of flavor. You can see that the bartenders know their profession and take care of every detail. The atmosphere of the place is very pleasant, the service is nice, smiling and professional, and the prices are reasonable for such good quality. An additional advantage is the ability to play your own music from a record player, which adds a unique atmosphere to the place. We also got free crispy chips with our drinks. If you're looking for a cool bar in Palermo, Bonter is the way to go. I definitely recommend it!

20/10/2024: We want to share our experience with Tenuta Spinola, which unfortunately was disappointing and presented numerous problems. Problems before marriage After choosing the buffet months before, they contacted us to test the menu. Living in Lombardy, we had to buy two return plane tickets to Palermo. In the end, we didn't do any menu testing, since we had chosen the buffet. Furthermore, during this process (carried out at the restaurant far from the Spinola estate) we were not shown the location. After this unsatisfactory experience, we felt obliged to rebook a flight to see the location in person, as we had only seen it in photos. During this second meeting, we sought reassurance on the menu and were promised that only the restaurant manager would follow us until the end. On the day of the wedding, the situation worsened. The fish barbecue, agreed until the previous day, was completely absent. Furthermore, the Maitre d' stopped us to complain that the tables had been moved several times, (it was all supposed to be done outside, but due to a bit of wind we had to opt for plan B, despite having been reassured on the day first saying that they could move the tables until the last minute, the situation created a climate of tension that lasted until the end of the evening. Finally, the cake cutting was done outside but the staff left the tables outside without even covering them, which ruined the overall aesthetic a bit. This was a shame, as a simple gesture of care could have significantly improved the viewing experience and atmosphere. In summary, the management by the manager and the owner showed poor coordination, with a lack of communication between them and an unprofessional approach. It is unacceptable to ruin the atmosphere by creating tension during such a special day. I only gave one star because it wasn't possible to put zero.

28/09/2024: We chose Tenuta Spinola for our wedding and we couldn't have made a better choice. Everything was perfect! Stunning location both in the external and internal spaces, fresh and plentiful food, fast, attentive and impeccable service. 29/04/2025: Very disappointing experience, and absolutely not worth the money. We got the 7 course tasting menu with 5 wine pairings. Service was disappointing, initial impression was good, with a nice greeting, however rapidly took a dive. Cold service, that felt like we were inconveniencing them by being there. Reached the point that when paying the bill, no words were even exchanged, clearly not interested in if we enjoyed our meal or not. Food flavours were ok, some highs and lows, but lacked any wow factor, and left hungry which is unacceptable for an €80pp (not Inc wine) meal. On the up side, the wine pairing was good. Won't be coming back.

09/02/2025: Giuseppe Costa's starred restaurant is an intimate location with a beautiful outdoor terrace. The revisited Sicilian cuisine does not disappoint, on the contrary, it is a pleasant discovery with the selected ingredients. Stellar spaghetti with sea urchins! Excellent value for money!! If I really have to make a criticism, the service has huge room for improvement for a restaurant like this.
