Everything was perfect. We ate truly deliciously and received a truly impeccable welcome from the owner and his staff.

Clean atmosphere....Fast service.... The dishes aren't very popular, and the food is decent. But all in all, it's not a bad place for a quick lunch break.

I'd say everything was perfect. A truly excellent place, rich in history. Authentic food, and not to mention excellent service. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

The restaurant is located at the entrance to the charming village. It's truly characteristic: the exterior is shaped like a castle, hence the name, and the interior is full of themed memorabilia, including a portrait of the bandit Giuliano, whose house is nearby and can be visited by reservation (very interesting). We had lunch on a beautiful veranda overlooking the village. Even though it was a holiday and the restaurant was packed, we ate really well. All traditional Sicilian dishes: the appetizer was excellent, featuring fried patellas, flavorful vegetables, sfincione, meatballs, savory mushrooms, local cheeses, and cured meats. The first course was delicious paccheri topped with yellow squash, sausage paste, and pistachios. The second course was excellent, featuring delicious local meat (sausage, roulade, toasted slice) with baked potatoes. To finish, a razor clam and an excellent coffee. Excellent value. We'll be back and highly recommend it.

My favorite restaurant, Al Castello's special occasions are a surefire success. Extremely satisfied.

Simply exceptional! I never imagined I'd eat so well today! I came here on a recommendation, and was impressed by the quality, the deliciousness, the homemade cooking, and the Sicilian pizza! From now on, it's a go-to place for me. The premises are extremely homely, full of anthropological relics to observe and study. The owner is not only extremely friendly but also a stubborn defender of Marino's culture! Highly recommended! And it's not even expensive!

One Sunday lunch with friends, we were looking for a rustic place serving traditional Sicilian cuisine. We found this restaurant at the foot of Marineo Castle, and it earned a 5-star rating for its rustic, medieval setting. Regarding the food, we tried about 10 appetizers, and only the apple caponata stood out for its deliciousness; the rest was average. The casarecce with wild boar ragù was delicious! Finally, we tried four different desserts and received complimentary sfincette from the owner. He often came over to check on our lunch. Overall, I'd give it a solid 4/5 ⭐
