28/09/2025: Had breakfast upon my arrival in Palermo, excellent coffee, excellent croissant

27/09/2025: It's changed a lot since a few years ago. It was usually well-stocked with delis and delis, but when I went it was 11:00 a.m. on a weekday, and there was very little left at the breakfast bar, if anything... I left without even getting a coffee.

Located at one of Palermo's most famous intersections, the sign is beautiful...for a bookstore!!! 😆 A very cozy little place that was recommended to us by practically everyone!!! A very welcoming place with fast and knowledgeable service. We ate typical dishes, such as pasta with cauliflower and primo sale cheese and delicious fish couscous!!! To finish, a coffee and... everyone was settled!!! One word: GO!!!

16/10/2025: We didn't have a reservation, but we got a table anyway. The food and wine were excellent, and we would return anytime.

11/10/2025: Excellent and plentiful food. It tasted like delicious homemade food. Service was attentive and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our last dinner there in Palermo. Highly recommended if you're looking for simplicity, genuine, traditional flavor in a peaceful atmosphere.

We thank Roberto, Sante, and the entire restaurant team. I recommend it to anyone looking for a charming place, especially for special occasions.

14/10/2025: This is the best restaurant we have been to in Sicily. Such a warm embrace from the moment we stepped into the establishment, and food that was divine. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the dinner, and plan to return, but the best example of this restaurant’s class was personally driving us home during a rainstorm. Where else does that? Not a single Michelin, nor places at 20x the price. This is one of the finest experiences for food and comfort in the world.

24/07/2025: Found the quant bar on our last night in a side street which has lots of tiny umbrellas hung from string overhead. Great choice of drinks and wife had her best vodka and coke on the island. Wished we found this bar earlier

19/05/2025: The staff is very kind and frendly. I think they are the ones who own the place. I would give them 10 stars. We drank cocktails, beer and they even did mocktails for the kids. We got a lot of snacks and even olives for free with the drinks. The places has it on charm. Music is AWSOME, they do latina music and 2000s rnb-pop. We where hear on monday night, so we didn’t get to enoy the whole weekend vibe but we had so much fun. Recommend. :)

29/09/2025: Tenuta Spinola made our daughter's dream wedding come true! Every detail was handled to perfection. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and they made us and our guests feel so well cared for. A key few points: -The beauty of Tenuta Spinola speaks for itself! -The owners, staff and, chef paid attention to every detail. -The service was perfect! We felt like royalty! -The food was amazing! Cheers to the chef! -We had a rain shower at the end of dinner and the staff handled the transition with ease making it seem like it was all part of the plan!!! We highly recommend Tenuta Spinola for your special event!

22/10/2025: Great place to try Sicilian street food sandwiches and an aperitif, nice atmosphere, fast service. The so-called meat platter for 2 people is unbeatable and very tasty!!! There is a lot of hustle and bustle on the street, but it's very nice, I can't imagine Italy without hustle and bustle!

29/09/2025: The food was really horrible, I heard good things about Magna Roma but for my tastes everything was really bad, the service was really good at their job and friendly, the atmosphere was nice and the setting was also too much chaos, I had an incredible headache.

21/09/2025: I've been here at the Viale Strasburgo location....I'll start by saying the food is good, as is the service and the location....but the prices are too high, especially the 2.50 cover charge per person. It's unacceptable to pay 4 people 10 euros without any consumption....I'm just saying we were 4 people, we had 4 plates of pasta, 1 still water and half a bottle of coke for 75 euros....I don't want to argue about the prices because everyone sets their own prices, after all, they are written and if it's not convenient for you, you get up and leave....but I want to give the owners some constructive advice: lower the prices a bit because honestly if a family of 4 wants to come and eat at your place, they'll practically give up. What will I do if the prices stay the same, especially the cover charge, which is too high?

30/08/2025: After years of regular patronage and a cuisine that has proven reliable over time, I returned one August evening with my father [in his eighties] and a friend. Leaving aside the unfriendly greeting [which has become almost routine lately] upon our arrival, in 53 minutes of waiting we weren't even bothered with water, bread for the wait, or even a request for an appetizer. Nothing! As soon as the wait staff arrived, nervous and irritated by my comment that other diners had similarly complained about the service, with the same nervousness and in a manner that was, to say the least, rude [this is far from Osteria Urbana], the waiter loudly asked me to leave, walked away himself, and didn't even deign to offer us a reservation! Only Giuseppe tried to remedy the situation once we left the table, but the damage was done, and too much spoils. I won't be returning. One can understand the stress of a crowded dining room, but in any self-respecting establishment, at least water and an appetizer while waiting, especially when the guest is elderly, seems frankly appropriate. Terrible treatment! Date of visit: August 2025
