30/09/2024: Rented a boat at samboat company, this is were we got the boat. After a rainy first day we could come back the next day to have our remaining time on our own boat! Really good service and kindly people. Reservate your own boat in Palermo at Samboat and make sure to go here! From a young dutch couple!

08/11/2024: Beautiful property with very friendly hosts. We had a bike breakdown and were picked up directly by Giovanni, which isn't always the case. Dinner was amazing and was personally cooked for us. We're still full. 😉 Thanks for everything!

13/10/2024: The word "Agriturismo" may be given here! A farm that also serves dinner and breakfast. This place is located in the middle of nowhere. That's what makes it fantastic. It is a farm where they work during the day. There are horses, cows and a stray goat. The place is beautiful. We walked in all directions. And every side is breathtaking. Like a Bob Ross painting. The hosts are friendly and make the stay as comfortable as possible. The dinner is really worth it, for X amount you get a 3 course menu. Everything freshly prepared. Definitely worth a 10. And the trip too. There is no WiFi or 5G in the room. But that's very nice.

Good appetizer, a crunchy and dry mixed fried dish. we ordered 1 delicious fried calzone and a pizza with a cheese-filled edge with mozzarella, bresaola and parmesan flakes... Really wonderful... To finish we also had a dessert... a warm heart... it was without the heart,😅😅 The thing that struck me most was the kindness of the staff... really attentive to the customer.

Mi è piaciuto moltissimo il tris di cucunci, aglio e olive, davvero particolare. Servizio efficiente e personale molto gentile. Infine, un'ottima selezione di musica anni '80 di sottofondo. 14/04/2025: Excellent trattoria-pizzeria, we ate very light and non-greasy fried calamari, varied and tasty seafood salad and a good almond paste parfait with generous portions. The service was friendly and helpful. We returned to try the pizza: really excellent and well stuffed. Prices in line.

26/04/2025: Grazie Mario. Volevamo decisamente la pasta alla norma, non c’era nel menù. Mario non ci ha pensato un secondo e ci ha fatto preparare due primi tanto abbondanti quanto squisiti. Quando ci ha portato il conto ho avuto la contezza di aver mangiato davvero bene spendendo davvero poco. Lo consiglio vivamente a quanti vogliano sentire in bocca la terra siciliana, con il sorriso delle tasche. E non è poco!

25/04/2025: Questo ristorante è stata la nostra caccia al tesoro! Nonostante alloggiassimo in un b&b quasi di fronte,in. 4 giorni siamo riusciti a cenare solo l'ultima sera e dopo ci siamo rammaricati di non esserci riusciti a che nei giorni precedenti. Il tempo di attesa delle ordinazioni è compatibile con una cucina in tempo reale, perciò nulla di già pronto. L'attesa è valsa per quanto mangiato dopo,orata alla griglia con patate, involtini di pollo e bacon con patate e tagliata con contorno di verdure,tutto ottimo e conto perfetto. Ancora complimenti ai gestori che tengono alta la bandiera della buona cucina siciliana e della gestione familiare nonostante l'avanzata delle catene di ristorazione fast food. Prenotate qui e ne uscirete felici 🥰

22/03/2025: Why are you closed even though it’s 8:50 a.m.? It says that you open at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday... And yet, the shop is not open. This is not normal, in this case, you need to update your schedules on Google, to avoid people wasting their time. I'm not happy at all.

We ordered two wonderful tartares, rigorously prepared with a knife (one simple and one Sicilian); two ribs, one Sicilian Angus and one Friesian cooked rare and accompanied by roasted vegetables and sautéed red cabbage; of the good Nero d'Avola. The high expectations were maintained. We highly recommend Barresi Steak House.

09/04/2025: Superrrrrrr davvero. Nella centrale via maqueda da loro trovate i Cannoli senza glutine e trattati separatamente per evitare contaminazioni Tutto buonissimo e super fresco . Consigliato!

01/03/2025: One of the best restaurants in town. Just good taste and presentation, with reasonable price, no pretentious Michelin BS we tried elsewhere in Sicily that tried too much to impress but failed even in the most basic aspect of cuisine such as the amount of salt! Balata is just pure culinary cuisine, with excellent transparent display of competent chefs at work. (You can even talk to them and ask questions! They’re that friendly). The waiters are friendly and communicative. We just had to keep coming back here and open yet another bottle of their fantastic Sicilian Syrah wine. Can’t believe some clueless clients have them one star. You want huge portion? Go to a pizzeria.

03/02/2025: I booked last week and once I got there the place was closed. I have not received any notice regarding this closure. Furthermore, on the same day, I received an email with booking confirmation.
