Home-made restaurant outside the bedlam and nightlife of the historic center of Palermo, yet a stone's throw from the central Via Maqueda, it is located along the route of Via Judica, suggestive and quiet, not far from the Piazzetta dei Beati Paoli and the Mercato del boss. Excellent food: pasta and fish-based starters and of course good typical fish dishes. Paid very little for Palermo standards. Definitely honest and welcoming, therefore to be recommended.

Good restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of the central streets. Fresh fish. Quality cuisine. The only downside is the Aperol Spritz with proseco without gas.

Great food. The octopus salad and mixed grilled sea food platter are really worth it. Wonderful service and really nice staff.

Warm, welcoming and welcoming trattoria. Everyone is very kind and super helpful. During our two-day stay in Palermo we almost always went there to eat because for us it was a guarantee as well as a place where we found an extraordinary welcome. The food is excellent and varies from meat to fish but all fresh and quality. Prices normal. We will certainly return.

Abbiamo mangiato su consiglio di un autista che ci stava portava in giro con l’autobus dentro Palermo e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Si trova in una via defilata e quindi tranquilla. Accoglienza calorosa da parte del cameriere che ci ha dato anche opportuni suggerimenti. Ottime alici fritte all’aceto, gli spaghetti alle vongole e un ottimo riso al nero di seppia coi ricci. Consigliato.

We went early on a Sunday evening and found they didn't open until 7.00 pm. We returned at 7.00 and were very pleased that we did. We were the only customers on a late November Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed our entire dining experience. There were some challenges with communication but it simply added to our enjoyment. We ordered beer and wine and two courses each. Service simply indicated that everything was being prepared fresh which suited us fine. Our waiter, Nicola, was a little tentative but once we showed him that we were friendly turned out to be delightful. Overall excellent food at a good price and friendly and attentive service. I have read that others consider it a tourist trap. That's nonsense. Others complained about service. I would say you reap what you sow.
