Excellent restaurant located outside the village of Specchia. We ate very well. We paid a fair price for the quality of the food. I recommend it and also recommend visiting the beautiful historic center of the village.

A classic first course, ficarigna flambéed in a parmesan cheesecake with buttermilk and sage, is simply amazing. Pair it with a second course and dessert, perhaps shared. I recommend the millefeuille.

02/06/2026: The panini was edible, but not warmed enough; the coffee was nicely presented and easily accessible.
15/05/2026: Best pizza I've had in Italy. Many speciality pizzas. Pasta, appetizers. Ate there 3 times in 3 days, each left full, good wines very reasonably priced. Wait staff very helpful in selections. This is the place to go! 4 more days here and we will eat here. Superb!!!!

Osteria la Vecchia Fontana

05/05/2026: We ordered catering for 25 people. From the appetizers to the main course, I was impressed by the quality and attention Salvatore paid to the preparation. Considering that there were people with food intolerances or vegetarians, he managed to accommodate everyone without having to prepare separate dishes. I'm so happy I chose Vecchia Fontana. I absolutely recommend it.
04/05/2026: Everything was perfect. We had excellent pizza and pasta. The service was perfect. I highly recommend it.
