09/05/2026: A very nice place with beautiful decor! The food was excellent!

06/05/2026: The best part first – they offer a really good house wine, a Vino Rosso. The appetizer, Frittura mista gamberi e calamar, was frozen and extremely dry. The pizzas were good. A cover charge for a 5-year-old is completely unacceptable.

06/07/2026: We stopped by after walking the second stage of the Salento Trail. They were kind and even gave us a fair discount. The pizza was good and the location was beautiful. The view from the terrace was spectacular.

15/06/2026: Terrible!!! Not even in Alto Adige do they do this kind of thing. First of all, a table that was standing thanks to the support of our legs, ditto the chairs. If you cross your legs, you risk falling to the floor. Two seafood linguine with clams, mussels, scampi, and octopus. We read about the octopus but definitely didn't eat it. In the photo, the remains of the mussels, clams, and scampi from TWO plates of linguine. 18 euros each. The white wine, "Malvasia," never mind... it smelled "fresh," therefore rotten. In the photo, too, is the receipt, which, between you and me, you look better saying "Do you need a receipt?!?" Then they complain that people don't go out. Go to sleep...put yourself in your customers' shoes every now and then. Oh, I forgot about the paper napkin and the rickety table setting, 4 euros for the cover charge. The only positive note was the kind waiter. 20 km by bike to eat this stuff, don't ask me why I finished it, the tomato pasta fills the gap anyway.

22/03/2026: WOW! The food is wonderful 🤩 Everything is delicious. The only flaw is in one of the off-menu dishes, the spaghetti with lobster. The lobster is very chewy, but otherwise it's a spectacle. Trust me and go there.

09/03/2026: The food is excellent; it's simple, traditional cuisine, with a seasonal menu that respects the ingredients. The seafood linguine is excellent. The restaurant is located in Acaya, a small village in the province of Lecce, a short walk from the castle. There's a lovely fireplace. The service is friendly. 100% recommended.

23/06/2026: Extremely expensive for a few shellfish that barely scrape by, served on plastic plates! And the wine, too, was served in plastic cups! Avoid this place at all costs!

His attention to detail and gracious manner elevated the entire dining experience. We would also like to thank the lovely lady who looked after our table. Her warmth and kindness made us feel completely at home, and her welcoming nature was just as memorable as the excellent food. Alex Restaurant offers not only exceptional seafood but also hospitality of the highest standard. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable dining experience.

28/03/2026: I really liked the place—the atmosphere was perfect, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The food and service were excellent.

16/03/2026: This evening I went to this pub, and after ordering chicken breast, I realized it had a nasty, sour aftertaste. It was basically spoiled and they'd served it to me... the waiter claimed it had been bought the day before. Oh, come on, fresh chicken breast doesn't taste like that at all! I hate to write this review, but unfortunately, people are really suffering because of these consciences!

29/05/2026: We arrived in Salice for a medical appointment. We needed a coffee, but after wandering around in vain, we arrived at Caffetteria Jox... What can I say? A truly modern atmosphere, kind and welcoming staff. The lady greeted us as if she were constantly watching us; we felt at home. The coffee was excellent, the pastries delicious. I highly recommend it.

14/09/2025: I've eaten at this pizzeria several times and I can say that the quality of the pizza used to be better. Yesterday, it was terrible; it hadn't risen, and the mozzarella, which was supposed to be buffalo mozzarella, was actually just plain fiordilatte. Instead of accepting criticism and offering a mea culpa, they even have the nerve to make stupid jokes. Not to mention the receipt never arrived. Mistakes can happen to anyone, especially on busy days, but if you've been in this business for decades, you should know how to treat people, and that's why it's not worth returning. Your colleagues in Veglie aren't this rude; in fact, they handle mistakes much better. I'll gladly follow the pizza chef's advice: "Then go eat at your restaurant or somewhere else."

02/04/2026: It awesome, we were there 2 days, drinks and food were wonderful. The beach was very nice, clear water, no waves, just magnificent!!!

11/07/2026: Terrible. Ordered on Deliveroo because it had a 30-minute wait, making it preferred to other places. Delivery is untraceable because it's handled directly by the pizzeria. Delivery was an hour late, 1.5 hours after ordering, only after a phone call. I was told to be patient because it's Saturday. This isn't something I should be concerned about, but rather the restaurant's management. My payment was completed promptly. If you can't do something, you shouldn't do it. Setting the wait time to 30 minutes is incorrect.

04/06/2026: After having tasted their pizza I can assure you that I would return every time.

18/05/2026: Excellent pizzas, light and crispy dough... every bite is an explosion of flavor. They greeted us with hot pittule, and the menu also offers specialty pizzas (we had the "ciambella" and the "duchessa"), reasonable prices, a simple and spotlessly clean place... I went in to wash my hands in the bathroom and it was spotless and smelled wonderful. I highly recommend it. It's become my favorite pizzeria. I'll definitely be back!

21/04/2026: The staff is fantastic, but in my opinion they make too many takeout pizzas. Even though there aren't many people in the dining room, it's small, so you still have to wait so long for your pizza that you ask for something fried in the meantime, and then you can't eat the whole thing. I should add that I'm talking about a Saturday night; maybe during the week you won't encounter this inconvenience. Anyway, 👍🏻
