29/10/2024: The spritz promo for €3 on Fridays is interesting, (which is impossible to find outside the Veneto) a place with a big screen to watch various sports, finally not just football.

26/10/2024: I had booked a table (Saturday evening) and once I arrived at the restaurant the waiter stated the absence of electricity, therefore, consequently, the impossibility of having dinner. All this without any kind of warning. Absurd.

16/10/2024: Location esclusiva sul mare con ombrelloni e ristorante sulla spiaggia. Ottimo pranzo con pesce fresco dove si può accedere anche con bambini molto piccoli, personale accogliente e preparato.

02/02/2025: The pizzeria is located in a spacious location, but despite its size, the atmosphere remained calm and not chaotic, which is always a plus when looking for a bit of relaxation during dinner. The fritti we had at the beginning were good. The pizzas, although good, didn't make me crazy, but they were still quality, with light dough and fresh ingredients. However, the service was a little below expectations: the staff was not particularly attentive or friendly, and there were waiting moments that were a little longer than expected. Despite this, overall, it was a good experience.

03/05/2025: Babà e gelato stratosferico. Buonissimi i pasticciotti e le creme gelato. Ottime le torte. Il locale è elegante, curato e raffinato. Personale gentile e attento. Peccato il bagno non all’altezza del locale

02/05/2025: Gelatina interesante. También tiene una ventana para mirar cómo se hacen las cosas (en el lado de la calle). Bastante ocupado. El helado estuvo bueno. Podrían haber limpiado las mesas después de cada invitado, no solo barrido. Pero en general una experiencia agradable. Justo enfrente del sauare con las escaleras romanas y excavaciones. 16 eur por café, fanta, helado en un cono (y un mini cono encima : ) , helado en una taza, un donut, servido en una mesa.

21/03/2025: Cucina squisita e personale cortese. Luogo accogliente, tranquillo e luminoso. Grazie a tutti per l'ospitalità. Tutto il gruppo si è trovato magnificamente.

08/01/2025: Great guys, kind and helpful, excellent pastry shop and bar but as I always say, a radical change in the environment would give it a boost and a different appearance in the eyes of many more people... this remains a light-hearted suggestion for many, respecting the tastes and choices of the owners. I repeat, pastry making at the first level and in a vicious and greedy country like ours, this is no small thing. The appearance needs to be improved (sooner or later.. ;) Well done.

21/10/2024: I was served an ice cream that was the most disappointing 🍨 ever. I took two flavours, chocolate, and chocolate. The first one was not really creamy, it was quite simple and not worth the detour. The second one was sooooo sweet, I couldn't eat it. In fact, it seemed to be Nutella.. Imagine you're eating Nutella by the spoon 🥄, that's what it felt like. I also got some pastry. It also wasn't worth the detour.

26/12/2024: Very kind staff welcomed us with a smile. clean and warm environment pleasant musical background. we took a platter of excellent quality cold cuts and cheeses and 2 Aperol spritzes. I highly recommend this place to spend an hour of pure relaxation

15/03/2025: You speak well but you speak badly, lady, they are all sophisticated by making you choose a "range" of time in which they deliver your pizzas and the deliveries never arrive on time, the review is due to various episodes of delay. The lady who answers the phone is extremely irritating and full of herself. There is better above all PUNCTUALITY IS A SIGN OF PROFESSIONALISM, and both things are in short supply here. NOT RECOMMENDED.

27/04/2025: We ordered and paid for take-away pizzas at 8.46pm. After waiting in vain until 10pm - while customers who arrived much later than us were also regularly served - we were asked, with great surprise, which pizzas we had ordered: they had completely forgotten our order. I point out that it is not the responsibility of the girls in the dining room, who are always courteous, but it is unacceptable that in 2025 orders are still managed with pen and paper instead of using a digital system that immediately sends orders to the kitchen. As if nothing had happened, the pizzas were delivered to us at 10.30pm, without even a concrete gesture of apology: no refund, no gift or sign of attention for a very serious mistake. Such rough management irremediably compromises the customer experience, regardless of the quality of the product.

16/04/2025: If you are looking for a place to have a chat over a dish or even just have a quiet dinner, stay away from this place. Music at very high volume certainly does not favor a convivial and peaceful evening. Music must be desired, desired, chosen. Not inflicted.

Tutto il personale é altamente qualificato e ad ogni singolo ospite viene riservata grande attenzione. Villa Vergine, una perla nel Salento!

04/03/2025: The beauty of the location is not equal to its management. I found the costs of the dishes exaggerated especially in relation to the quality and quantity. It was a negative experience that I will not repeat.

27/02/2025: I had dinner with 5 friends on a rainy evening; despite this, ours was the only occupied table throughout the evening. The menu speaks for itself: first courses and risottos not up to the €18 per dish spent, as are the starters, neither excellent nor plentiful despite the €20 per portion, which then became per person. Price of wine €22 per bottle, definitely exaggerated. Total: €60 each for a starter and a first course. Service nothing special for a restaurant with a historic name in the city. We were disappointed, we will hardly return.
