I love this place; it's not huge, but the food is divine. Simple cuisine, good pizzas, and excellent meat dishes. Always innovative, they always organize different evenings, from karaoke to pizza parties and pizza tours, lunch and dinner menus during holiday events, excellent and truly fair prices. The owners are always available and attentive to their customers' needs. I recommend it 🫰🏻

The hospitality and the venue were excellent. We went on the pizza tour night with karaoke, which was very fun. The pizza was delicious: thin and crispy, very light, and generously topped. I went with friends and lots of children, and the staff was patient, very kind, and helpful. I recommend it and will be back very soon.

We celebrated a birthday at La Vecchia Curte and the experience was truly excellent. The owners were extremely helpful and professional from the very beginning, helping us with the organization and making us feel welcomed and at home. The food was excellent: carefully prepared dishes, fresh ingredients, and generous portions that satisfied all our guests. The service was attentive and punctual, helping to make the evening enjoyable and hassle-free. A place I recommend for special occasions or simply for good food in a family atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

Historic place, I booked well in advance because it's always very full... Intrigued by the excellent reviews, I dragged my group along with me... We had a great time and the food was divine: excellent pizzas and abundant roast meats. On Saturday and Sunday evenings there are always very engaging karaoke evenings.

Welcoming and familiar place, we were there on the evening of January 5th and about an hour before midnight the BEFANA arrived, kindly giving candy to the children and taking photos and selfies with all of us. The karaoke lady managed to organize the singing and dancing well and was available to the slightly different requests of our group. We had a really lovely evening, compliments to the DJ, truly engaging. We will do it again.

I went there yesterday for the first time. Excellent food!!! Kind and courteous staff, attentive to the customer!! I recommend it. Definitely going back!!! A very positive experience.

I already knew the place and entrusted the owners Simona and Sandro to celebrate my brother's wedding... what can I say... beautiful place, excellent cuisine, and I can also confirm that even the pizza is to die for! The owners are humble, kind, professional, and affable. Excellent value for money... in short, you'd be crazy not to come!

02/03/2026: I appreciated that despite it being winter, the place was open. The window displays were sad and decrepit, probably looted by previous customers. I thought the prices were a bit high, the place had a lovely view, and the stars were all for the lady who served the tables, who was always present, knowledgeable, and very polite.

Al rifugio di Capitan Morgan

05/12/2025: A must-visit if you're in Salento. The atmosphere is informal, the service is good, but the food is excellent, whether it's raw, fried, or grilled. Great prices, I come back every year. It's even worth the 40-minute drive just for Capitan Morgan.
31/10/2025: How can it be that plastic tableware is still being used these days? And in a restaurant, no less! We were appalled and thought it was a joke when the waiter brought us a bottle of water and two plastic cups. Then came the cutlery, also plastic, wrapped in plastic film 😳 And then the food, guess what? On plastic plates? What's going on? Too lazy to wash them? And all this with a direct view of the sea. One can only hope that none of it ends up in the ocean. The food was alright, but it would have been much nicer served on porcelain plates. The waiters could have smiled a bit more, and walking around the restaurant with their arms crossed doesn't exactly make a good impression.
