The low rating was due to lunch: two pasta dishes weighing under 50g each, and two fried dishes with water, two spritzes, for €115. But not even in a Michelin-starred restaurant would I have left feeling as hungry as I did here!
Never again!!!

Shameful and embarrassing experience.
I had ordered a cake days before for a special birthday: 50, not an impromptu party. I arrived at the pastry shop and immediately realized they had almost no idea what I had ordered. Total confusion, blank stares, as if I were talking about something completely new.
The result? A ridiculous cake, clearly made in a hurry, without care, attention, or respect. One of those things that only makes you want to hide it, not bring it to the table in front of the guests. I made a fool of myself.
This isn't a small mistake, but a total lack of professionalism, organization, and respect for the customer.

09/04/2026: Our group of 11 had a wonderful experience visiting Da Salvatore TRATTORIA - B&B LUXURY. Gorgeous interiors, excellent service, and an unforgettable atmosphere. We were treated to attentive service from the moment we entered, with Salento dishes prepared for us (menu terra and menu mare) consisting of two-course appetizers, dessert, and drinks. Everything was delicious. If the opportunity arises, we will definitely return to the hospitable Salvatore TRATTORIA - B&B LUXURY. A huge thank you to Salvatore and his staff. Much gratitude to Salvatore!

24/01/2026: Coffee bar in Torre Vado, with kitchen and outdoor seating. Very good and fresh seafood salad (we were there in September 2025). Good puccia, friendly and courteous service. We hope to visit them again!

A doughnut that's considered freshly baked, but it's at least a day old. (I'm attaching a photo.)
But how do we expect tourists to return if we, the locals, are offered this shoddy service?

The zuppa di cozze is a poem!
25/09/2025: Good pizzeria. The pizzas are well served, but the toppings could be a little more generous.
Prices are a little higher than usual for a pizzeria in Italy, but we're in a tourist area.
Friendly service; we didn't feel rushed to eat, like in other establishments.

12/03/2026: The place is nice, but it's a shame the meat is dry and expensive. 4 balls of poor-quality bombettine (just bacon) were €12...
Bombettine as big as my pinky nail... I hope tourists don't go, they'll ruin Puglia's reputation... P.S. The spritz tasted like nothing! Good beer!
12/03/2026: We were there for a birthday, everything was very good, from the abundant starters to the first course, with a small disappointment they were fettuccine with mushrooms, the mushrooms were not that great but the mixed grill and the potatoes and salad on the side were all very good.
