17/07/2026: Going to visit a friend in Lecce, he took me to this restaurant. I don't know whether to call it a trattoria or something else. However, the welcome was certainly nothing to complain about. Mr. Sabino welcomed us with great empathy and joy. Let's start with the location: a little dated, small, and a lot of old junk thrown here and there, which honestly I don't know how long it can please people. I mean, there are some objects, but thrown here and there, and that's another thing. Let's move on to the food: at least for my taste, nothing that could have warmed my heart. The portions of some dishes were a little meager, but not meager in price. In fact, for the cost of some dishes, I would have expected something more generous. My final opinion: if this place has won 4 restaurants, I imagine that after the victory, it got a big head and lowered its quality... I don't want to say that the quality was poor... But certainly, as I reiterated, it didn't leave an impression on me. I paid for 5 appetizers, 3 first courses, and 3 second courses with 3; bottles of water €210 ... I would have expected at least at the end, WOULD YOU LIKE A COFFEE? And I repeat, this is my opinion, maybe someone else will like all this...

27/06/2026: I visited Lulu's last night with a friend who's a regular. I have to say it was a truly extraordinary experience, from every perspective. I ordered a smash burger that I would simply describe as sublime: a perfectly prepared burger, with the meat juicy and flavorful to perfection, accompanied by crispy potatoes, a cold beer, and an excellent dessert that rounded it all off impeccably. A perfect combination, for true connoisseurs! But what makes Lulu's a special place isn't just the excellent food, it's the atmosphere you breathe in, thanks to the owner, a person of rare professionalism, hospitality, and kindness. He makes you feel at home right away, and it's clear he puts his heart into everything he does. A well-kept place, quality cuisine, and impeccable service. What more could you ask for? 15/08/2026: I came here at the invitation of my family for Ferragosto. The atmosphere is charming and lively in the right way, a plus also for the very young yet inexperienced staff (we even spilled a coffee). I hope they weren't just called for this day. The fixed menu is very basic, with the usual bland flavors. The wait times were like ice ages. The lasagna was almost burnt, there were limited options for vegetarians, and the icing on the cake was the sorbet served completely melted with the warm, sloppy fruit. A place that isn't lacking in beauty, but it shows serious flaws in the quality of the food and service.
