03/08/2025: Intrigued by the aesthetics, we decided to try the hotel restaurant for the first time. It was a pleasant surprise, from the excellent appetizers to the first courses and dessert. The ingredients were excellent, and each dish had a unique flavor. Compliments to the chef and all the staff who welcomed us with utmost hospitality!!!

21/05/2025: Mon mari et moi y avons dîné hier soir, en compagnie d'amis, pour notre dernière soirée à Lecce. Tout le monde a été ravi ! Félicitations au chef pour la qualité de ses mets, J'avais choisi le tataki de thon qui était délicieux. La présentation des plats est raffinée. Le serveur a été très aimable et souriant. Pour ne rien gâcher, il parfait français, ce qui a facilité nos choix.

12/10/2025: We wanted to try the pizza, especially the gluten-free version, which is hard to find with a homemade crust. We were completely satisfied with the gluten-free and traditional dough. The place is small, yet cozy, with only a few seats. There's no table service; everything is picked up at the counter. The menu lists a huge number of possible pizzas, perhaps around forty.

22/08/2025: A late stop on our return trip. As a family with two children, we received a very warm welcome, and the pizzas were delicious and the sandwiches generous. A great place.

09/09/2025: The beach is accessible to four-legged friends. The low rating was due to lunch: two pasta dishes weighing under 50g each, and two fried dishes with water, two spritzes, for €115. But not even in a Michelin-starred restaurant would I have left feeling as hungry as I did here! Never again!!!

09/10/2025: The rooms were new and perfectly tidy, and the food was a 10/10. But what was truly extraordinary was the hospitality. The owner helped me fix a car breakdown, got me a discount at the mechanic's (another memorable experience), and, to top it all, he offered me coffee after taking me to the repair shop. If you want to experience the humanity, hospitality, courtesy, and vitality of the Apulian people, this is a must-visit.

20/08/2025: My experience is negative, apart from the time, it took a long time to make two crêpes, but I can justify it because I was alone, but the serious thing is that once I had my crêpe, I only took one bite to realize that there was cinnamon in the batter, and I AM ALLERGIC!, since when do they make crêpes with cinnamon?!?, but not even specifying zero, no reference to this. Thanks so much for the bentelan I took!!!

07/09/2025: A wonderful experience. The breakfast room was small, very welcoming, and beautifully decorated. The pasticciotto was delicious and delicate.

05/09/2025: A great place for breakfast. The produce is always fresh, but it's still stressful to check every now and then to make sure the croissants aren't burnt, for example. The owner's wife is rather grim and makes you feel unwelcome as a guest. Nevertheless, we go there several times during our vacation because the quality is impressive.

02/01/2026: If I could give you one piece of advice, go and enjoy some excellent fresh fish cooked to perfection! I recommend the scialatiello with braised sea bass, a perfect combination of a first course and a second course, a real treat! Well done, guys, well done chefs!

15/08/2025: Attracted by the many positive reviews, we decided to try this restaurant. The location, an ancient villa, is truly stunning. However, the first impression is already there, as you enter, where you're not greeted and have to find your way and find the staff on your own before being seated. The outdoor seating is lovely, but, unfortunately, without adequate shade, the large tree releases insects and leaves onto the table, onto the plates and glasses. The menu doesn't stand out for its presence of local dishes. We tried some seafood dishes, and the impression that everything was frozen was particularly noticeable, especially regarding the raw seafood, which is not exactly cheap. An even more negative note is that you end up dining with children playing in the restaurant area.

15/08/2025: Wonderful outdoor location with a fantastic atmosphere thanks to the very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent dinner with a good meat and fish menu.

20/10/2025: Restaurant/pizzeria serving first and second courses, and excellent Neapolitan pizza, which I've tried. I don't know about the other dishes. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are friendly. Prices are average. I recommend it.

07/10/2025: Best pizza in town - once upon a time! Yesterday's pizza was still half-raw and had canned mushrooms...nothing like it used to be, unfortunately! The specialty pizza is no longer available either. Sadly, this was my last visit there.

08/01/2026: I visited Belami on January 6th, and the experience was a wonderful surprise in every way. From the moment you arrive, you sense a refined and welcoming atmosphere, making you feel immediately at ease. The service was impeccable: attentive, friendly, and never intrusive. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, ready to offer advice with passion and expertise. The real highlight, however, is the cuisine. Each dish was balanced, beautifully presented, and rich in flavor, with quality ingredients that you can taste from the first bite. You can sense great attention to detail and a true pursuit of flavor. I left the restaurant truly enthusiastic, positively surprised by everything: the ambiance, the service, and the food. Belami is definitely a place to return to, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine, clean, and no-frills dining experience.

25/10/2025: Belami in Maglie was a major disappointment. The “catch of the day” was clearly old and smelled off, left by our table in hopes we’d choose one of those fish. We declined and decided to order an à la carte seafood pasta instead, asking if it could be cooked without wine due to dietary requirements. The waiter said the only option without wine was the Chianina ragù, as all other pasta dishes were already pre-mixed, unless we chose one of the smelly fish of the day. If the food were freshly prepared, the chef could have easily made a seafood pasta from the menu without wine. Most dishes seemed pre-cooked or frozen. I honestly don’t understand how this place can be mentioned in the Michelin guide. I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but in this case, it was necessary.
