01/01/2026: Everything was fine except for the New Year's Eve organization: tables for 13 and tables for 7 without any apparent logic. By the end of the evening, two women's bathrooms and one men's bathroom had become three women's bathrooms and two men's portable toilets, with no way for us men to even wash our hands. Even when we asked politely, they categorically refused to let us use the bathroom. As a restaurant, it's okay, but I wouldn't recommend it for large events.

30/12/2025: We received a preliminary information email from Villa Vergine that did not specify the mandatory minimum number of 130 people. Based on this information, we booked the venue and paid a €2,000 security deposit. Upon receiving the contract, we discovered the existence of this essential clause. Unable to meet this minimum, we did not sign the contract. Despite the obvious lack of prior information, the organizer refused to refund the deposit. We found this situation dishonest and very disappointing, especially considering the importance of an event like a wedding.

18/01/2026: We're regulars and always come back. The pinsa is excellent, made with quality ingredients and a light dough. The garden is beautifully kept and adds to the atmosphere, especially on beautiful summer evenings. The staff is always friendly and fun, especially Irene, who makes you feel at home. We definitely recommend this pinseria!

18/01/2026: Very nice place, but I don't think I'll be back. We sat down at 9:30 PM, and after an hour, no one showed up to take our orders. After ordering, we got fries but no drinks. After a while, water arrived, but no beers. While we were waiting, the waitress who had taken our order told us that one of our beers was out. Our drinks finally arrived, but they were initially taken to another table. The pizzas, four of them, arrived at different times. I don't like this: that while one person eats, the others watch, and vice versa. So much chaos and so much sloppiness. The staff is unprepared to handle so many people. It wasn't a great experience.

19/12/2025: Type Zero, a zero for the experience. I order a sandwich. It arrives on a small iron tray, completely frozen. The sandwich is acceptable, but the fries on the side are clearly reheated and fried in oil that's already been in the oven for a few miles. I point out the mix-up, and they say, "Oh, but you put ketchup," in a somewhat haughty manner. They basically wanted to reheat them and bring them back. They bring me a separate portion, and they were basically the same old fries, chewy and with a bad flavor. It's a shame because they started out well, but over the years they think that once you've built a loyal customer base, you can start selling them less-than-quality food. Total disappointment.

14/11/2025: I'm very satisfied with the friendliness, professionalism, kindness, and helpfulness of the entire staff. They were completely willing to give me the space to create my entire setup. Furthermore, on the occasions I've had the pleasure of being here to sample their food, I've been equally satisfied. Truly, everything was excellent.

31/08/2025: Excellent and plentiful appetizers Pizza by the meter is a great idea, but they should also offer a traditional round pizza (they only make it for those with food intolerances). Slow service, about an hour before taking the order.

26/10/2025: Went for dinner here last week. I had the orecchiette frutti di mare and it was magnificent! I was thinking it looked lovely but my goodness that first mouthful. My sister and I were the only people there that night. Which was very surprising considering how great the food was. It made our last night in Otranto a special occasion. My sincerest thanks to the chef/owner.

28/12/2025: First time at King Pizza. The atmosphere is very comfortable and elegant. We ordered two pizzas and a Coke. The pizza was good, and for those who love a low, crispy crust, this is a great place to go. It was cooked perfectly (you can always be sure of a low crust and a little less leavened). Even though it was Sunday, the wait was short, and the pizzas were served quickly. The service and the waiters were excellent. Overall, we were satisfied.
