24/12/2025: La Grottella is one of our absolute favorite places, a cute and super welcoming place where my family and I come so often—often even a couple of times a week! ❤️ We love the relaxed, family atmosphere, perfect for a quiet dinner or just spending time together. The staff is always friendly and helpful, making us feel at home every time we return. Roberta is fantastic. The cuisine is typical and authentic, with dishes that reflect Salento tradition, but the real star for us is the pizza: thin, thin, light, and truly delicious—well-seasoned and easy to digest. If you're looking for a place with local cuisine, excellent pizza, and a feel-good atmosphere, La Grottella is highly recommended. A regular in Melissano! 🍕🍷

08/02/2026: Pizzeria right off Piazza Santo Oronzo, in true Neapolitan style and flavor. A very beautiful and characteristic place with both indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly staff, attentive to every need. The pizzas are excellent, and the service is quick. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the price of a portion of fittini, €10.50, which seems excessive. The homemade ones are okay, but they consisted of 10 pieces at most (panzerotti, arancini-style meatballs, and pasta frittatas). Pizza prices are normal.

29/01/2026: A very nice place practically in Piazza Sant'Oronzo. The pizzas and desserts are very good, although one pizza was a bit burnt (it can happen). The service is friendly and attentive. Prices are a bit high, but we're right in the center.

11/06/2025: Typical tourist lunch (in the good sense) on tables in a characteristic street, excellent food and very kind staff. Prices consistent with the good quality food. We had an excellent and generous Hawaiian poke. 2 Pucce "Primitiva" and 1 Hamburger di scottona with chips, wonderful. With two bottles of water, two cokes, two small bottles of beer and a glass of iced tea we spent 64 euros. In general... highly recommended.

02/06/2025: Highly recommended for those who, like me, are gluten intolerant. I was finally able to taste an excellent parmigiana (the aubergines had not been floured and fried) and a very tasty dish of broad beans and chicory. The place is only apparently small (there were eight of us and we had a good time) and the selection of wines is exceptional. The owner, then, is an exquisite person.

16/10/2025: At 2:30 pm the cafe was already closed, but the sign said it was supposed to be open until 3:30 pm.

17/09/2025: Everything was excellent. The meat and potatoes were very good, and the prices were fair. We'll be back.

14/04/2026: I love this place; it's not huge, but the food is divine. Simple cuisine, good pizzas, and excellent meat dishes. Always innovative, they always organize different evenings, from karaoke to pizza games or pizza tours, lunch and dinner menus during holiday events, excellent and truly fair prices. The owners are always available and attentive to their customers' needs. I recommend it 🫰🏻

24/02/2026: A terrible experience at La Vecchia Curte. From the first few minutes, you could feel the total lack of professionalism: confusing organization, inattentive staff, and a less than welcoming attitude. Despite the evening's "pizza tour" theme, the pizzas were always the same, constantly re-presented without any variety. Not to mention that practically nothing arrived at the head of the table, and after several waits, we were forced to specifically request pizzas. Upon request, instead of being offered, I was looked at askance, with an almost challenging expression, as if I was demanding something I wasn't entitled to. A disappointing evening in every way. The only thing that bothered me during the evening was everything... except the pizza. I won't be returning.

30/09/2025: Beautiful beach, well-equipped and well-maintained, where you can have lunch or dinner with excellent dishes while enjoying a breathtaking view, with knowledgeable and friendly staff... I recommend it.

03/05/2026: I've only tried the restaurant, honestly, but I have to say I was surprised and more than satisfied. The fish was incredibly fresh, even brought to the table so you could choose what you wanted. Everything was fresh and delicious, from the raw fish to the main courses. I'll definitely be back to see what else they have to offer.

04/04/2026: Bel Ami is a sure thing, especially for business lunches. The chef, an exceptional host, always knows how to put our guests at ease and pamper them. The fish is incredibly fresh and the wine list is top-notch. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. Their artisanal gelato at the end of the meal is absolutely not to be missed. An excellent address in the heart of Maglie. Highly recommended.
