The pizza is delicious.
Excellent value for money.
The staff is kind and very attentive.
If we find ourselves in Nardò again, we'll definitely be back.

We love the relaxed, family atmosphere, perfect for a quiet dinner or just spending time together. The staff is always friendly and helpful, making us feel at home every time we return. Roberta is fantastic.
The cuisine is typical and authentic, with dishes that reflect Salento tradition, but the real star for us is the pizza: thin, thin, light, and truly delicious—well-seasoned and easy to digest.
If you're looking for a place with local cuisine, excellent pizza, and a feel-good atmosphere, La Grottella is highly recommended. A regular in Melissano! 🍕🍷

24/03/2026: Beautiful location in the heart of Otranto's historic center. The service is excellent thanks to the highly trained, friendly, and helpful staff. The restaurant offers high-quality traditional dishes, thanks in part to the excellent work of the kitchen. I was there on Saturday for lunch and will definitely be back.

11/09/2025: The pizzas are very good and very affordable. The cocktails are excellent. The atmosphere is pleasant. Don't hesitate to go or stop by for a beer and a pizza. They also have salads. In short, I discovered it too late.
