14/08/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant. The mixed raw fish was very limited for the price, the service was mediocre, and above all, the bill was incredibly high!!! €80 per person with an appetizer, a first course, and a bottle of wine for two. Sorry, but I won't be back.

09/08/2025: I came to eat with my family and some friends, there were 12 of us in total. We started our dinner with four mixed raw fish dishes to share, which were very good, but we had to wait 40 minutes for them. Afterwards, we ordered first courses, which were very good, the only shame was the quantity.

09/07/2025: Big Ben was truly a great discovery! They have a very welcoming room but I recommend takeaway. I've tried practically a bit of everything and I can say that everything is very good. Surely what I liked the most are the pucce and the burritos... SPACE! Super mega recommended! PS: a big applause for the wheel of fortune appetizer that rewards you with a coupon if you eat it all!

07/07/2025: We are a Scottish family visiting the area on holiday. We visited Big Ben for takeaway. Unfortunately we were not able to download the app as not available on our UK-based phones. We visited the premises, and were told it was a 40 min wait. Ok I understand when places are busy. But was actually 75 mins. And the food was not very hot once received, and the order was incorrect (only realised once home). May have just been a bad night.

07/05/2025: The Magician of Focaccia in Copertino was a truly pleasant discovery! The restaurant is located almost at the end of the city, next to the sports center, and is welcoming and well-kept, with a space that is not too large but well organized. Furthermore, for those who want to stop and eat on the spot, there are some comfortable sofas that make the environment even more pleasant. As soon as you enter, you find yourself in front of a display case that is a true spectacle for the eyes and the appetite: chock-full of freshly baked goodness, hot, fragrant and freshly prepared. Every product we tried was delicious, made with care and with ingredients that immediately felt fresh and of high quality. The staff was very kind, smiling and helpful, ready to advise and serve with attention. Another strong point? The prices! Absolutely excellent and accessible, which makes the quality-price ratio truly unbeatable. I definitely recommend a visit: whether you want a spectacular focaccia, a tasty snack or simply something good and genuine, you will be safe here.

19/08/2025: Beautiful place! The food is of very good quality. The starters are chosen by the establishment according to the season (about 6 appetizers). Then you can choose between one of the first two and for the second and dessert. The service is pleasant, courteous, fast and efficient. The place really has charm. We will come back. €48 for two.

16/08/2025: The food is unquestionably good. The portions aren't many, but that's acceptable for a 0km restaurant. We went because it was highly recommended; the portions were very limited, but really very limited. From the appetizer to the main course and the only dessert (chocolate salami), which were three measly slices, but delicious. A real shame.

18/07/2025: The food here can be great (breakfast burrito and scones especially), but some of it is underwhelming (the chicken is usually very dry). Sometimes not worth it for the price. It has a nice atmosphere and lots of seating but it can get very crowded and there aren't a lot of outlets if you're looking to get work done Some of the servers are really sweet, but there are definitely a few staff members who are rude, forgetful, and dismissive. I want to love this cafe but I seem to always have a minor issue with the service

13/08/2025: The best bar and pastry shop in town, one of the best in Salento. At any time of day, the windows are filled with sweets, delis, appetizers, and more. Super friendly, kind, and helpful staff.

12/08/2025: I bought 2 crepes and some croissants, but when I got home and served them at the table, they noticed that they were hard and cold. They were definitely from the day before.

20/08/2025: Excellent experience, welcoming bar with very kind and professional staff. Congratulations to the new owner. We'll be back.

26/08/2025: Well done guys... Taking a few extra steps never hurts, especially if you make the mistake of going into the ice cream shop you were in before. Smiles in name and in deed... The Queen must have returned to England, she left her rude cousin in charge of the business... Hehehe

22/08/2025: The ice cream tastes like ice. Mine actually had frozen lumps. Plus, it's tasteless. The good reviews had attracted us, but it was no use. The place is a bit sad. The guys who served us were friendly, though.

06/04/2025: I tried the Mexico tour, I wasn't able to finish it because everything was too plentiful. We need to reduce the quantities on the plates. Helpful and trained staff Very long service between one course and another, it becomes unnerving. The garden is beautiful. Honest account.

18/08/2025: Marien Platz is a fantastic place located on the outskirts of Lecce. From the outside, you're in Salento; close your eyes, step inside, and you'll find yourself transported to Germany, if you believe it enough. The location, dominated by wood, is spacious and comfortable. The service is punctual, knowledgeable, and fast. The culinary experience has its roots, as you might expect, in Northern Europe, yet without forgetting the typical compromises of a local restaurant. I ate very well, with excellent meat quality and respect for the cooking methods and waiting times.

15/08/2025: A table was booked at 9:30 PM on August 13th. The dishes were ordered almost immediately and arrived an hour and a half later. We asked four different waiters for a bottle of water, a total of seven or eight times; the bottle never arrived and was promptly added to the bill. The dishes in question (five pizzas, four of which were identical) arrived after having called the waiters twice. They brought the first four dishes together, completing the order 20 minutes later. Once I went to the cashier and presented my complaint, the issue was immediately downplayed and reduced to the bottle of water being charged but never seen. All this happened in front of the owner (no more than a meter away from me), who continued to give orders to the staff as if nothing had happened. No one felt the need to apologize for the sloppy service, to say the least.

23/08/2025: Absolutely amazing! Dolce Vita is a pastry shop/café that truly deserves to be discovered. Everything is of outstanding quality: the croissants, the small pastries, the cannoli… simply delicious! You can really taste the care and passion put into every product. The coffee is excellent as well. A perfect spot to start the day or enjoy a sweet break. Highly recommended!
