01/11/2025: I don't recommend it! We ordered a portion of orecchette (we had eaten elsewhere and liked them) and a portion of lasagna, and when they were brought to us we were surprised that they didn't bring us the parmigiano, only after we requested them and waited for a while. The basil was burnt on the edges (a sign that it had been put in the oven with the lasagna, but unfortunately we overlooked this "detail"), and the portion of orecchette was swimming in a soup of something that was supposed to be a sauce. What was annoying was that the orecchiettes were cooked differently (some soft and others very hard) and when we told them this they said they couldn't do it, then that if we wanted we wouldn't pay for them, then that they would bring us more, finally the woman who served us didn't come to the table and sent the bar boy to collect our bill (in full of course) who told us that we had eaten the portion anyway so it had to be paid. We asked for someone to come and discuss it with us and things had already escalated. We asked to pay and we left with a bitter taste. Total lack of professionalism.

24/10/2025: I tried the “Gnocchi di patate al sugo” and they were delicious—very flavorful with an excellent texture. For dessert, I had tiramisu and I really liked it too. The prices are great — I paid 20 euros in total — and the service was very friendly and fast. They also have the traditional orecchiette, which look amazing as well. I’d definitely repeat the experience!

01/09/2025: Delicious pizza, just like traditional pizza! The dough is light and easy to digest, with just the right amount of crunch that only a wood-fired oven can provide. You can immediately taste the fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite is a pleasure, simple and authentic. You can tell there's passion behind every pizza. Highly recommended.

01/02/2026: Unforgettable lunch! We were here with my family. Super relaxing atmosphere... fresh fish, non-sticky rice. The scallop and otoro nigiri were top-notch!! The spicy salmon uramaki was a mouth-watering explosion. The wait staff were kind and professional. A truly rare level of politeness. Congratulations!!

25/01/2026: I've been frequenting this place for a while, and I've always found it to be excellent value for money, but this time I felt the quality had dropped a bit in some of the dishes. I found the croquettes taste different, with less mint, and the horse meat pieces, not served in terracotta bowls, were quite spicy as they should be. I also didn't like the mixed roast meat as much as I used to, generally poor. The Turcineddhri were good. Being originally from Salento, I love our cuisine and traditional places, so I'll definitely try again.

17/01/2026: If dinner at their place was already special, now that they offer the possibility of Sunday lunch with tasty first courses they have reached the top!

19/11/2025: We were there three weeks ago. We probably had the wrong evening, because the lobster starters were overcooked. The restaurant was very, very expensive, because with two lobster starters, a seafood starter, an appetizer, and a glass of wine, we spent 170.00 euros. You decide.

03/11/2025: The restaurant has long been renowned, but unfortunately (or fortunately) it's not in the city of Lecce, but it's still a 15-minute drive away. It's always been one of the best seafood restaurants.

23/08/2025: Yesterday, my husband and I went for a snack at this restaurant. We sat outside in a charming little square located within the walls of Akaja Castle. We enjoyed a platter of various cheeses and cured meats, along with bruschetta. The food was very good, thanks to the quality of the ingredients. We also enjoyed the service, as Rossella was very professional and kind. We'll be back again this evening.
