15/10/2025: The trattoria is traditional, small, and very welcoming, spread across two levels. The atmosphere is pleasant, although it seems the place is perhaps geared more toward foreigners. The dishes are carefully prepared and tasty, honest, but (perhaps with the exception of a few dishes) they don't impress with an explosion of flavors, despite maintaining a solid, traditional approach to cuisine. The cover charge (€1.00) is fair and in line with the type of service offered. The Antipasto della Casa (which was presented to us as a portion for two) was a bit disappointing: we didn't find a good balance between the price and the variety/quantity of the dishes. This could be an unfortunate exception due to the evening or our table, but it's an aspect that needs reconsidering.

14/10/2025: Our favourite trattoria in Lecce! Would highly recommend reserving a table because you would be extremely disappointed to miss out eating here! Always remember to ask what Nonna's fantasy is, we got extremely lucky and had a lobster pasta which was delicious.

18/10/2025: We had a very good meal here – the pasta is simply fantastic! The service and ambiance are perfect, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. Furthermore, the restaurant offers excellent value for money.

03/08/2025: We stopped by chance, but it was a pleasant dinner... we waited a bit, but it was due to the lack of staff, which the owner immediately clarified, but it was pleasantly rewarded by the good pizza and the courtesy of the staff. We will definitely be back!

29/06/2025: Pizzeria Da Luigi - Where "Not the Best" Still Means Amazing (Because... Italy) In Tricase, saying a pizza place isn’t the best is like saying your Ferrari isn’t the fastest, it’s still a Ferrari. Pizzeria Da Luigi serves up a solid, delicious, can’t-go-wrong kind of pizza. Maybe it's not the single best slice in town, but honestly? That’s like ranking Michelangelo’s sculptures, some preferences are just personal. The crust is crispy, the ingredients are fresh, and the vibe is proper local. You leave satisfied, full, and wondering if you’re just a little too spoiled by Italy. If this exact pizza landed anywhere else in the world, they’d crown Luigi emperor and name a national holiday after him. But in Tricase? It’s just Tuesday.

11/10/2025: A meticulously curated venue located on Via Duomo, right in the heart of the historic center, just steps from the cathedral. A wide selection of beers, some truly unique, never seen before. The cocktails are noteworthy. Prices are average. The crostini are very tasty, expertly prepared and presented. I would suggest bringing a few extra napkins, not just one per person, and perhaps some small plates, because pieces can easily fall off once you bite into them. N.B.: For unknown reasons, this review has been blocked for several months, so some photos do not reflect the current state of the venue's decor. It has only now been unlocked with "try again."
