11/07/2025: I have to say that everything was fine, except that after 14 days of continuous breakfast (me, my wife, and daughter), the young lady, perhaps the owner, made me get up from the table without even letting me finish my cappuccino, telling me in front of everyone that she couldn't occupy the table for too long... Exaggerating, it had been 3-4 minutes! I was so upset that after 15 years of vacation from August 1st to August 15th (to be precise, the incident occurred on August 14th, 2024), I don't think I'll EVER set foot there again. Too bad.... For me, respect is everything, and rudeness is ignorant.

23/08/2025: The appetizers were a buffet, with prices varying based on the quantity ordered: fried vegetables, meatballs, eggplant, mushrooms, mini arancini, broad beans, and chicory, and so much more. For our main course, we ordered horse meat and a portion of horse meat pieces in sauce: tender and juicy, with a great portion; the meat was incredibly tender, while the sauce was a bit runny but still flavorful. The cheesecake was very scenic, and for my personal taste, it wasn't a huge hit, but it was still homemade. The prices were very fair. The only negative was the service: we arrived with a reservation, and yet the staff paid us no attention, making us wait for our table (even though it was already ready). Then, during dinner, they didn't take our plates away easily; in fact, we ended up clearing them away ourselves and placing them on an empty table nearby.

23/08/2025: We really loved it! We had to wait a bit to get in because it was super crowded and it was also Taranta Night in town, but it was worth it! Excellent dinner, the horse braciola is heartwarming 😅 Unique potato croquets, and huge applause for the appetizer buffet, delicious, varied, and generous! We'll be back.

21/05/2025: Mon mari et moi y avons dîné hier soir, en compagnie d'amis, pour notre dernière soirée à Lecce. Tout le monde a été ravi ! Félicitations au chef pour la qualité de ses mets, J'avais choisi le tataki de thon qui était délicieux. La présentation des plats est raffinée. Le serveur a été très aimable et souriant. Pour ne rien gâcher, il parfait français, ce qui a facilité nos choix.

10/08/2025: It's always a pleasure to dine at this traditional restaurant in the historic center of Corigliano. Welcomed by our friend Renato, we chose appetizers and B. Cavalieri spaghetti with scorpion fish. A stunning dish, paired with excellent wine.

05/09/2025: I had a medium gelato with three flavors; the service was fast and the staff was friendly. The gelato wasn't the best I've ever had, but it had distinctive, fresh flavors. I recommend it for a summer evening stroll when you're craving a nice, refreshing gelato.

14/07/2025: We've been going to Mavis for years, and every time is a confirmation. The classic pulled sandwich is a guarantee: tasty, well-made, and always perfectly served. The location deserves a 10: well-kept, welcoming, and with an atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at ease. We've been there many times and will return again. The only small flaws are the tuff-based parking, which is a bit inconvenient, and the salad, which is too commercial and lacks dressing. But these are small details that don't detract from the overall excellent experience. A place we're always happy to recommend: consistent quality, attentive service, and a menu that never disappoints. A well-deserved 5 stars!

11/07/2025: The review isn't about the food, service, or ambiance, but rather a lack of communication. The Facebook page and a video circulating on social media mention the possibility of Sunday lunch, and reservations are still available online and through the Quandoo app. This evening, the owner called me to inform me that they're closed for Sunday lunch, urging me to cancel my reservation. I recommend calling, as the videos, posts, days, and times on the website and apps aren't up to date. I can't comment on the rest, as I haven't had the opportunity to experience it.

12/08/2025: We ended up here by chance while looking for a quick pizza before visiting Lecce. Delicious pizza, perfect quality and quantity of ingredients! We also had the fried calzones. Everything was perfect. The owners? Fabulous and incredibly kind! Keep up the good work! Congratulations!

27/05/2025: Courteous and helpful staff. Quiet little place. Varied menu, with many first courses available, from meat to fish to pizzeria. I attach some photos of the dinner served in this restaurant. The pizza is cooked in a wood oven, and in winter there is the possibility of dining next to the lit fireplace, which makes this restaurant my absolute favourite. The pizza topped with onion, dried tomatoes and chips, tortelli with gratin cheeses baked, pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, seafood salad and frying. I forgot to photograph the pizza, thin and well seasoned. Stupendous.

30/08/2025: Decent food, very disappointing service (Saturday night), asked to leave the table by 10pm to free up tables, entered at 8:30pm, dinner started around 9pm, practically a rush. Absolutely not...never again.

28/08/2025: A very beautiful place with meticulous attention to detail. The sushi is very good, certainly above average among other all-you-can-eat restaurants in Lecce. The only flaw: dining in the basement, compared to the ground floor, was so noisy due to the voices from the many tables, we could barely hear each other. Personally, I would also advise against allowing pets, as they only made the situation worse. Despite this, Sofia, the owner, is always very kind and the staff is also very helpful, although the service is a bit slow.
