24/09/2025: A lively and pleasant oasis adjacent to the university. Great coffee, good range of fresh and delicious pastries (pasticciotto were stand out) and friendly helpful staff. Been here every morning this week. It is consistent and good. Fino a domani!

07/10/2025: Villa Vergine presents itself beautifully, with an elegant, refined, and very evocative location. Our ceremony was very well organized; the person in charge accompanied you throughout the entire planning process. The service was excellent, with the butler Domenico and Angelo, two very professional people who understood the needs of the bride and groom. The service, along with the quality of the dishes, satisfied the guests with their exquisiteness and choice of quality products. Everything was beautiful, resulting in an unforgettable day, but we never expected the difficulties that came to a head afterwards. We lost touch with our contact person, finding ourselves faced with another person whose corporate inflexibility and communication left much to be desired: unclear and untransparent (despite a contract and initial reassurances). A contract explained in broad terms, with clauses that were not explained or at least not recommended; The debt collection representative doesn't listen to the customer, with behavior that leaves much to be desired, and finally, no response despite sending four certified emails. I had to go in person again to ask for clarification. No complaints about the service and professionalism in the dining room or in the organization. We certainly would have expected more precise communication and greater flexibility in dealing with the misunderstandings that arose, which fortunately won't tarnish the memory of a memorable day, albeit with a slightly bitter taste.

22/09/2025: A wonderful location, truly beautiful, but that crack in the outdoor flooring is terrible both aesthetically and for the guests who have to walk on it, especially for women wearing delicate shoes and heels.

02/11/2025: We arrived at the place and were greeted by a lovely front desk lady. Led us to the table and sat us down. We definitely were awestruck by how beautiful the place was. But all that couldn’t help the horrible experience with the waiters. Even so as we were guided to our table we received the menu and a bottle of water. The only other guests were another table of 2 and 3 big tables with a group of 30ish people. Three waiters to service the evening. The big group was handled and we thought after 15 mins they would come around for drinks, wine as that usually is a thing here, but still to be seen. After 25 mins even tho the group had taking their orders, we finally got a waiter running over to us to pass a extra menu we already seen. Before we could utter anything we got talked over by another waiter who gave us the info that two options couldn’t be chosen anymore and left faster than the wind while my wife said it was oké and we knew what we wanted to order. As some one who also had worked in the service industry this I find unacceptable and we left shortly after. The front desk lady was very sorry and apologizing multiple times. She didn’t do anything wrong, she was the nicest experience we had that evening. She understood why we were upset and we didn’t have to pay for the bottle of water we had one glass each of even tho we wanted to pay for it. We missed the food which we were looking forward to but you don’t go out just for food. You go for the whole experience. The restaurant was beautiful, the guest lady was kind and very welcoming, the waiters need to learn to have their head on a swivel and for an evening with low head count be able to at least not forget a table outside of a group. I wouldn’t go there again this just ruined it.

22/09/2025: €18 for so little octopus is out of line. I asked if it was okay, and the waiter was kind, but the kitchen's response about the price per kilo of octopus was unjustifiable. And it's not focused on a customer who's telling you, in a manner, that they're not satisfied. Everywhere else they give you one octopus, rarely half an octopus, but here, three tentacles and that's it. The other items ordered were fine. The view/location were beautiful.

20/09/2025: As soon as you leave this place... beautiful Panama. THE SEA, for the rest to be erased from the map. We had a spritz... undrinkable... if you can say that. . Campari, Prosecco, tonic water. All boiling hot. I commented on the hot drink. The more dead than alive Battista replied, "Blow on it." Conclusion: Never again. "More alive than dead" certainly doesn't refer to the employee's physical condition, but rather to the lack of professionalism he himself boasts about, which I would have liked to receive, along with my cold drink and a warm smile, instead of being served rudely. Jokes are an integral part of good service, but if there's a problem I'm expressing, you can't just respond with a "Blow on it" because he knew perfectly well the drink was boiling hot. I'll conclude by saying that we're not new customers and that reviews should always be written and read to be constructive.

12/11/2025: Friendly staff, led by Mr. Stefano, who proved to be a first-rate person. Excellent food quality and craftsmanship. Portions are more than generous.

31/10/2025: Chaos Music, I don't know! People waiting... lots of them Canteen-style chatter The appetizer arrived with the desserts On the other hand, they warned us in advance that there would be at least a 40-minute wait for the pizza The door was constantly wide open Waiters shouting and glass bottles being thrown in the bin as if it were a market What a shame 😵‍💫

01/12/2025: I had a vegetarian sandwich but I didn't really understand why it seemed to be made of meat since it looked very similar anyway and I had a bit of a hard time digesting it.

29/11/2025: Really nice place. A very grunge place unlike any other. A great beer selection, and finally a simple burger that tastes like (excellent) meat, not pistachio sauces and food porn. Really well done!

01/10/2025: Courtesy, professionalism, kindness, empathy, cleanliness, and good taste in the furnishings. All this sets this hotel apart... The only flaw, if I may call it that, was the breakfast... Maximum two courses and a maximum of two drinks... I would reconsider this a bit... As for the rest, if I could give it 6 stars, I would have gladly done so. Thanks to Ilaria, the manager, and Sofia, the receptionist who welcomed us.
