03/06/2025: I order takeaway mixed fried food, I ask the owner and he assures me that there will be pittule croquettes and meatballs. In the package I find 90% pittule which will be the least expensive thing for them, 8 meatballs and 6 croquettes all flattened, everything mixed together. But is this honesty? Good pizzas

02/06/2025: Very friendly staff. Ordered different types of meat and they were all excellent. Too bad we didn't try the pizza because a delicious smell was coming from the other tables, so the curiosity remained. Warmest compliments.

Abbiamo avuto solo esperienze negative, dall'omissione di rosticceria d'asporto; al tentativo di far pagare due volte il conto per furbizia del personale. 06/07/2025: Scandalous experience: rudeness, arrogance and zero respect for the customer A shameful dinner at Locanda del Macellaio on Via Adriatica, to say the least. The waitress was rude and rushed, zero courtesy. We ordered normal and spicy strips: the spicy ones never arrived. When we pointed out the lack, first the butcher tried to deny them, then the owner introduced himself, joining the conversation he was eavesdropping on, and with shocking arrogance told us that we were the ones who hadn't noticed the difference. Basically, they called us stupid, without even the good sense to admit a mistake. The owner proved to be an unpleasant person for the entire duration of our stay, including the payment phase: he complained about the fact that we wanted to split the bill Roman style and, instead of giving us the receipt, he threw it away. When we asked him about it, he responded annoyed and with an annoyed tone, as if we were asking for who knows what. Nothing to do with La Locanda del Macellaio on Via Taranto, which has the same name but – as the waitress told us in an irritated tone – “they are two separate things”. Maybe it’s even better this way. A place to absolutely avoid: arrogant staff, terrible service, unacceptable attitudes. Not only will we not return, but we strongly advise against it to anyone.

06/07/2025: I went to this butcher shop last night and I was really satisfied. The staff was very kind and helpful, always attentive and friendly. The meat was excellent, really excellent quality, and the quality-price ratio was more than convenient. A very positive experience, I would gladly go back

12/07/2025: By far the best restaurant I've tried in Otranto! Super fresh fish, great prices, excellent service, and a smile. The owner even provided us with some coloring for our little girl and offered us limoncello at the end of the evening! A real treat!

30/06/2025: Attracted by the beautiful location and presentation of the tables we stopped, unfortunately all 4 courses taken were fish-based I must say the absolute non-quality of the raw materials, among other things badly cooked, and the raw ones covered with abundant doses of vinegar lemon and other to mask the lack of freshness of the product, absolutely DO NOT recommend it!!! The only positive note is the kindness of the staff.

25/06/2025: We arrived from Borgo Massella with some doubts and instead we had a great time, we had for appetizer a very good fried otrantine and a spectacular sauté of mussels to eat a kilo of bread and finally for first course sagne with scorpion fish (catch of the day), generous portions. Super fair price. Surrounded by kindness and familiarity you feel at home. Highly recommended.

23/06/2025: We were there for the first time this month and we came back after a week, the garden is welcoming, the owner is kind and makes you feel at home, also the staff is always attentive, the food is delicious, in short we liked it!

13/06/2025: I haven't been to this bar often, but I've heard a lot of good things from friends and people who know the place. They say it's a quiet, tidy and always welcoming environment. The breakfasts are delicious, the aperitifs are carefully prepared and the bar is always well stocked. The guys who work there are polite, smiling and close to the customers. The owners care about people, they are simple and friendly, and they create an atmosphere where you feel at home. I myself have only been once for a drink, and it left me with a very good impression – fast service, good drinks, clean environment. A place where I will definitely come back again.

18/01/2025: Very friendly owners, wide selection of wines, we will definitely return. I often go for an aperitif, a glass of Nebbiolo and plenty of appetizers, among other things the price is very good and the wine is of excellent quality. It's even better to date, definitely worth a try.

10/05/2025: I make a trip to Boston once or twice a year and I always go to Jamaica Plain and hit Ula Cafe for breakfast and or lunch. The staff is always cheery and welcoming. The cafe is black owned, locally owned and woman owned and very community driven. The food is always delicious and fresh and the iced matcha is delicious.
