19/11/2025: The main highlight I would say for me was the atmosphere I mean it was very clean and subtle ambience and vibe as pretty good.we sitted for an expresso and it was good . Pretty little good place to chill a bit with friends and family.

03/01/2026: Five of us had lunch. The seafood appetizer was limited in quantity and variety, with fried meat croquettes added just to fill the plate. The pasta entrees were limited in quantity and overpriced. I can't even begin to tell you how much they paid for a pasta and tomato dish for a child. In short, with these prices, you can only fleece the poor tourists, but a "local" will never be interested or able to come and eat at your place. The place isn't really that great to justify such prices.

Her joke was always the same: 'Only what you see'? This phrase was a sort of sesame seed! The fishmonger would go to the back and immediately display a crate with the best catch of the night. I smiled every time, happy and incredulous at the same time. I still wonder today what this statement could have evoked in the eyes of the owner?! I'm sitting here today at the Nonna Rosa restaurant in Muro Leccese. And I always ask myself the same thing. Why does this place bring back memories? Why? Perhaps it's Claudia's cheerful smile, reassuring and friendly? Or the simplicity of the dishes, anything but banal? The pervasive calm that prepares the palate? Then, a minor detail—something I haven't seen in a while—was that the liqueurs weren't offered at the end of the meal, but it doesn't matter; perhaps we were just in the middle of a service boom, and that can happen. The croquettes were delicious. I would just pay a little more attention to the service.

26/12/2025: During a protest, we passed by this pizzeria at 8:00 PM and were told to come back in an hour. Waiting outside 15 minutes early, they told us we'd have to wait another half hour because a guest had arrived soon and still needed to eat. I asked if it was the only available table, and they gave me a somewhat imaginative answer. But aren't these endless waits the result of sloppy management? And let's not even talk about the dishes served outside... so let's love each other...

The service is generally good, but having friends order ahead of the owner can be annoying. In our case, we had to wait 40 minutes for a coffee because a table right next to ours passed us simply because they were friends of the owner.

Entering a restaurant in the historic center, you'd expect a warm and welcoming atmosphere, but instead you find yourself in a place with no heating at all, no background music, a barking dog in the owners' restaurant, and a crowd of unsavory people using illicit substances right outside. I ordered a house appetizer, which is usually homemade, but as is often the case, it was a flavorless, low-quality frozen product. Not to mention the first course, which was trulli with basil pesto, dried tomatoes, and burrata. When it arrived, it was soaked in a sea of ​​basil oil, and it felt like pasta with olive oil. I don't mean to sound squeamish, but you can't serve dishes like that and leave them untouched without receiving feedback from the owner who was waiting the tables about the various remaining dishes. And as if that weren't enough, there was no coffee, sweet or bitter, to serve to your customers. Places like this should be on the tourist radar, as our baroque city of Lecce is. Entrepreneurs who think they have the skills to launch themselves into the restaurant world are a disgrace to the people who visit you.

01/01/2026: Everything was fine except for the New Year's Eve organization: tables for 13 and tables for 7 without any apparent logic. By the end of the evening, two women's bathrooms and one men's bathroom had become three women's bathrooms and two men's portable toilets, with no way for us men to even wash our hands. Even when we asked politely, they categorically refused to let us use the bathroom. As a restaurant, it's okay, but I wouldn't recommend it for large events.

30/12/2025: We received a preliminary information email from Villa Vergine that did not specify the mandatory minimum number of 130 people. Based on this information, we booked the venue and paid a €2,000 security deposit. Upon receiving the contract, we discovered the existence of this essential clause. Unable to meet this minimum, we did not sign the contract. Despite the obvious lack of prior information, the organizer refused to refund the deposit. We found this situation dishonest and very disappointing, especially considering the importance of an event like a wedding.
