16/06/2026: This restaurant was our first stop after traveling for almost twelve hours to Lecce. The staff speaks neither German nor English (only a few words), but they make a real effort to communicate, so guests still feel welcome.
The restaurant impresses with its concise menu, which includes some typical Italian appetizers, as well as pizza and pasta. Our order was taken quickly, and the food arrived fresh from the oven.
The taste and price of the food are unbeatable. For a restaurant with a lovely Italian ambiance, €7 for a pizza with eggplant and peppers is very reasonable. We'll definitely be back!
13/06/2026: The pizza is so big you don't really need an appetizer. But order the bruschetta anyway. Both are incredibly delicious. And combined with the ambiance, it's an Italian dream.

27/06/2026: My wife, son, and I had a wonderful meal with our uncle. For appetizers, we had oysters, parmigiana, and mussels with pepper; very good! For the first course, I had a scampi and saffron risotto... I enjoyed the dish and thought it was delicious. It had been a long time since I'd had risotto in general, and this was really good. The atmosphere makes you feel at ease; it's welcoming and very nice. And the service was EXCELLENT! The waiters were kind and friendly, the service was prompt... in short, excellent! I gave SalentOsteria 5 stars!

Sublime rotisserie. Fresh dough. One of the best calzones I've ever had here in Salento.

The guy was incredibly quick, both in explaining the products for sale and in packaging and giving change. The perfect time, I recommend around 6-7 pm.
I've tried other rotisserie in the area, but there's no competition... Just for the freshness and leavening of the product.
Now we always drive 20 minutes to come here with the family.

09/02/2026: I stumbled upon it by chance after two years of frequenting the area. It was a great discovery. From the simplest dishes to the most delicious, like the excellent sweet and sour suckling pig, wisely recommended by the very kind lady. I'll definitely be back and recommend it.

02/07/2026: Everything was excellent! The owners were incredibly welcoming! They even lent me an electric kettle and cups. It was a cozy little house with a clothesline, our own patio, and everything. Parking was available. Absolutely fantastic!
22/06/2026: Gorgeous place, surrounded by nature, not far from the sea. The rooms are clean and cozy, complete with towels and detergents. The breakfast and dinner are EXCELLENT!!!
I'M COMING BACK THIS YEAR AGAIN!!!

18/05/2026: A seaside-style restaurant in the center of Otranto. The quality of the ingredients is excellent. The mussels and catch of the day are highly recommended. The grilled fish is truly superb, a must-try. Fast and attentive service.
06/05/2026: Highly recommend! So impressed tasty food great service. We ordered the special of the day pasta with cubed fresh monkfish cooked in a flavorful light yellow tomato sauce which compliments it perfectly, hubby had the perfectly grilled octopus in a broad bean purée & chicory.

This is what it means to love your children; they're learning the true values of life, respect, and a challenging profession! Delicious pizza! A welcoming and quaint place, with attention to detail, stunning vaults, and a very quiet atmosphere! A great place to spend a relaxing evening. We'll definitely be back!

07/05/2026: I went for lunch on the first of the month. It wasn't my first time here, and, as always, I've never been crazy about it.
This time, however, there was a guy grilling the meat in full view, and I have to say: I've NEVER eaten such good sausage and bombette in my life. A true culinary orgasm.
The rest, however, was unfortunately a disappointment: the DJ played music too loud for lunch, and the appetizers were below average.
Recommendation: if you want to up the ante, let us know when this guy is grilling. I'd go back for him alone. As for the rest, there's work to be done.
05/04/2026: For a baptism, I had the pleasure of dining at this estate. It features a rustic yet welcoming setting, friendly and welcoming staff, a clean and well-organized restaurant, and dishes prepared with quality ingredients and beautifully plated. Service is a bit slow. The outdoor spaces are truly enchanting for relaxing and enjoying nature, and it also has a beautiful pool. In short, if you're looking for a different kind of day, this is the ideal place. Try it and believe it.
