We stumbled upon it by chance and felt pampered, just like when you stop for lunch at your aunt's house. The cuisine is simple but inspired by flashes of flavor. The atmosphere is truly friendly, and as people leave their tables, they greet other diners, who are of all ages and both two- and four-legged.

Very nice place, shame about the heat... 55 people in total, it was scorching hot. Service very slow... If you need help, hire more staff. It's not good like this. We came in at 1:00 PM and left at 5:00 PM. The food is okay, but please improve the speed...

02/11/2025: If you go to Lecce, you absolutely must go to Mamma Rita's! You'll enjoy excellent dishes, and the pizza is a must! The best! Friendliness, professionalism, cleanliness—it has it all. I recommend making a reservation because there are so many people wanting to eat there from opening to closing!

La Dolce Arte

05/05/2026: This pastry shop is located on Piazza L. Ariosto, a bit outside the center, but it was just a short walk from our apartment. Delicious ice cream, especially the chocolate with hazelnuts – amazing! Delicious espresso (this was my first time trying this kind of coffee) and classic pasticciotto. It's worth a visit!
