Excellent pizzeria, excellent pizza, and very fair prices. The place could just use a bit of updating for my taste, but I honestly highly recommend it because what matters is the quality of the food. Plus, the waiters are very friendly.

Some friends recommended this small pizzeria with a Neapolitan flavor, where I had the opportunity to enjoy a great pizza. The small montanare pizzas are excellent. It's a shame it's located in a neighborhood of Lecce where parking is difficult to find, especially on Saturday nights, but it's still worth it.

We often go to Checco for the best pizza in Lecce. The dough is outstanding. It’s a nice family run pizzeria off the main beaten track (out of the center) but every bit worth the trek. The service is always friendly too. Highly recommended!

A pizzeria we discovered on a Sunday evening when everything was closed. Attentive service. Generous pizzas that we couldn't finish, but we were able to take away. Very good value for money.

08/02/2026: Pizzeria right off Piazza Santo Oronzo, in true Neapolitan style and flavor. A very beautiful and characteristic place with both indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly staff, attentive to every need. The pizzas are excellent, and the service is quick. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the price of a portion of fittini, €10.50, which seems excessive. The homemade ones are okay, but they consisted of 10 pieces at most (panzerotti, arancini-style meatballs, and pasta frittatas). Pizza prices are normal.
29/01/2026: A very nice place practically in Piazza Sant'Oronzo. The pizzas and desserts are very good, although one pizza was a bit burnt (it can happen). The service is friendly and attentive. Prices are a bit high, but we're right in the center.
