They also make pizza by the slice, arancini, panzerotti, and focaccia with various flavors (such as gorgonzola and artichoke, fresh chicory, etc.), but my favorite is the freshly fried canapés! I highly recommend them!

I'm sorry they couldn't strike a more appropriate balance between quality (unquestionable) and price (really high for a trattoria serving traditional dishes).
12/04/2026: There's not much to say, the perfect restaurant! Excellent local cuisine (including gluten-free) with top-quality ingredients, the owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the waiter (Nicola) is also truly knowledgeable and kind.
The atmosphere is very quaint and extremely clean. Every time we're in Lecce, it's a must-visit!

Excellent and always fresh products, both sweet and savory.
Their pasticciotti are fantastic, and I really appreciated the variety on the menu: in addition to traditional products, they also have many herbal teas, croissants filled with special creams, bubble tea, and other new creations that I haven't found in other bars in Salento.

03/11/2025: La Pergola Restaurant was a real surprise during our stroll through Santa Maria al Bagno. It's centrally located, right on the village square, overlooking the sea. The highlight is undoubtedly the cuisine, which proved to be excellent. You can taste the freshness and quality of the fish, the true star of the menu. And all around, Salvatore's discreet and attentive care, capable of transforming a welcome into a gesture of affection.
