French people on holiday in Puglia, we recommend this simple, inexpensive and very good pizzeria :-) the welcome is warm and all the staff are attentive and accommodating despite our very approximate Italian.

We went to this place last night with some friends. I'd heard of it before, and I have to say the pizzas are truly delicious, beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. The desserts are excellent. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. Excellent service. Recommended.

16/04/2026: Very good, but equally expensive. I'm sorry they couldn't strike a more appropriate balance between quality (unquestionable) and price (really high for a trattoria serving traditional dishes).
12/04/2026: There's not much to say, the perfect restaurant! Excellent local cuisine (including gluten-free) with top-quality ingredients, the owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the waiter (Nicola) is also truly knowledgeable and kind. The atmosphere is very quaint and extremely clean. Every time we're in Lecce, it's a must-visit!

Ristorante La Pergola

03/11/2025: La Pergola Restaurant was a real surprise during our stroll through Santa Maria al Bagno. It's centrally located, right on the village square, overlooking the sea. The highlight is undoubtedly the cuisine, which proved to be excellent. You can taste the freshness and quality of the fish, the true star of the menu. The staff is attentive, professional, and very courteous! Highly recommended! 👏🏻 Biagio and Maria Pia
28/10/2025: A very nice restaurant with more than reasonable prices and a warm welcome. The food is very good, very generous, and they accept dogs. I recommend it 👍🏻
