Dinner last Saturday with friends. I was a little worried because I had recommended this restaurant, but instead I was inundated with compliments for the excellent choice. We chose a Margherita pizza as an appetizer (light, very digestible, superb, so good that some of us wanted more pizza at the end), followed by two specials of the day (a risotto and my farro tagliatelle with purple shrimp, truffle, and lime... DELICIOUS), pezzetti al pomodoro, a tagliata, and two more tagliatelle. We had bought the Cupeta (since it was a holiday in Giurdignano), and the hostess let us enjoy it at the table, very kindly. Of course, my friends ordered grappa.

We went to Osteria degli Amici in Giurdignano. The atmosphere is simple, welcoming, and authentic, just as you'd expect from a true local osteria.
We tried the cavatelli with beans and mussels: a truly exceptional dish, rich in flavor, well-balanced, and above all, filling. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in their preparation. The fava beans and chicory were also excellent, prepared to perfection, in full respect of tradition. We also had a pizza, which was very good, well-cooked, and tasty.
The service was friendly and helpful, making us feel immediately at ease.
Overall, a very positive experience: excellent food, generous portions, and a family atmosphere.
Exceptional price.
Definitely a place to return to and one I recommend to anyone who wants to eat well and savor local cuisine.

If you're looking for the warmth of a dinner with friends and the flavor of homemade tradition, this is the place. The experience at Osteria degli Amici was a journey through the true flavors of the region.
We started with a selection of appetizers, ranging from golden and crispy fried foods to stuffed focaccias and fried pasta with caramelized onions. Everything was fresh and carefully presented.
The highlight was the homemade Sagne Incannulate. You can immediately taste that it's handmade: the perfect consistency of the pasta marries a rich and flavorful sauce with pieces of wild boar, finished with a sprinkling of cheese that brings out every nuance. A "wonderful" dish that alone is worth the visit.
The name of the osteria doesn't lie. The atmosphere is welcoming, ideal for those who want to enjoy a convivial evening without too many frills but with plenty of substance.
An osteria that honors simple cuisine, elevating it to a higher level thanks to the quality of the ingredients and the mastery of the homemade pasta. Highly recommended!
