Dinner last Saturday with friends. I was a little worried because I had recommended this restaurant, but instead I was inundated with compliments for the excellent choice. We chose a Margherita pizza as an appetizer (light, very digestible, superb, so good that some of us wanted more pizza at the end), followed by two specials of the day (a risotto and my farro tagliatelle with purple shrimp, truffle, and lime... DELICIOUS), pezzetti al pomodoro, a tagliata, and two more tagliatelle. We had bought the Cupeta (since it was a holiday in Giurdignano), and the hostess let us enjoy it at the table, very kindly. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in their preparation. The fava beans and chicory were also excellent, prepared to perfection, in full respect of tradition. We also had a pizza, which was very good, well-cooked, and tasty. The service was friendly and helpful, making us feel immediately at ease. Overall, a very positive experience: excellent food, generous portions, and a family atmosphere. Exceptional price. Definitely a place to return to and one I recommend to anyone who wants to eat well and savor local cuisine.
