12/03/2026: We had an absolutely wonderful experience at La Locanda del Gallo. Don’t let the alleyway and side entrance fool you — this place is incredibly spacious, with enough seating for even a large wedding party both inside and out. The atmosphere is charming, authentic, and full of character. The staff was amazing from start to finish — warm, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. There are plenty of options on the menu to suit just about anyone’s taste, and the fresh, handmade pasta dishes were outstanding. Everything tasted authentic and made with care. We ended up spending about two hours here while waiting out the rain, and never once felt rushed. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy a great meal, and soak in the experience. Highly recommend La Locanda del Gallo for a sit-down lunch, dinner, or even just a cold drink. Here’s a slightly more enthusiastic version too, in case you want it to sound even stronger: La Locanda del Gallo was an absolute gem. 06/12/2025: We had orichiette with sausage and ragu and finished off with hot chocolate, tiramisu and chocolate and coconut tart. Very good food and close to the main streets of Alberoberro.

30/12/2025: We were in Alberobello and while walking, we noticed this place, where the menu and price were displayed (but not very truthful)!! We went in and asked if they had a table for three. The person who greeted us was kind and helpful. We knew what to order and booked right away. We didn't wait long. We ordered two second courses and a first course for my daughter, obviously all meat-based. We made sure the meat was well-grilled because we have a problem with raw meat... Done, done, the meat was raw, especially my husband's scaloppine. The Angus steak was cooked but a little raw in some places!!!! My daughter's first course was good, but lacking in substance, or rather, very little quantity. The problem was with the payment, because the large steak (16 euros per 100 grams) was not specified in the menu, both inside and outside, and that's already not good. Then the waiter and waitress show up with a nice platter of large, inviting steaks, or with a large tray with a giant, always very inviting, cooked sea bass, but you pay per 100 grams, not per piece... so be clearer, obviously, everything is delicious, but it cost us like gold, and then 2.50 for the cover charge, some people even charge 3 euros, but guys, a cover charge costs more than a tourist tax, with everything disposable... Scale down, then don't complain if you don't work!!!

30/12/2025: Good food, and service could use some work. Too much rush between courses. We felt like we were being watched. I don't know if it's the waiters' or the owner's decision, but you can't finish a meal in 30 minutes. I heard the staff shouting a bit too loudly, and that's not good for the customers. Three stars because the dishes are plentiful and good.

15/02/2026: Friendly staff, we ate very well except for the coffee, which wasn't good, and they don't make it with milk. I recommend not sitting near the entrance, as it was too drafty. We spent very little.

09/03/2026: We went for lunch on Sunday, elegant place, very long waiting times, inattentive and very distracted staff, dishes ordered and never arrived, average food.

08/03/2026: We ate at Hanami on a Saturday night; the atmosphere is very elegant and refined. The service appears good, but sometimes dishes marked as delivered aren't actually delivered, and they have to be reordered, causing confusion at the table. In terms of speed, you can't beat a packed house on a Saturday night. The food is okay, but given the price, I expected something more refined and unique.

13/12/2025: Terrible, €30 for two, a waste of money. Half the Sardinian cone was inedible. The culurgionis were sweet or mixed with the others... Everything was fried at once, everything tasted like fish. 2 stars only because the beer is good (even the panadine were at least good).

15/07/2025: My first time here for my morning breakfast. The café only employs young female staff. The service wasn’t bad—the barista was accommodating, but you can’t tell whether she was just playing along or genuinely interested in something serious and lasting! The price was steep—€2.80 for a bitter ginseng coffee and a brioche—with no glass of water included, which for a place that looks five-star in both price and décor is an unforgivable oversight

The pasta here is simply outstanding — honestly the best pasta I’ve had in all of Italy. Fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of authentic flavor. Highly recommended!
