24/08/2025: After parking the car near the
Villa Comunale in Giovinazzo and before venturing into the historic center for a stroll, we decided to grab a snack at this takeout pizzeria. We ordered pizzas and other pre-made dishes at the counter and sat down in a wooden structure built on the street with a few tables inside. It's a simple but welcoming place. Since it wasn't very crowded, they kindly served us at our tables.
I have to say, the pizza was good; we enjoyed it. Whatever type they choose, they top it with black pepper and pecorino romano cheese—it's their signature touch—obviously optional.
Prices for a whole pizza: €8 on average, which is now reasonable compared to other pizzerias.
13/07/2025: Very good pizza! I recommend picking it up in person, especially on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Service was a bit slow, but nothing too bad, it's vacation time.
Perfect eggplant lasagna.
Lunch and sandwich to go for dinner before our return to France. Very good and fresh sandwich. Close to the sea and parking nearby.

03/11/2025: For the type of location, it's nice... very minimal and simple, but it offers a very good appetizer with typical products.
I didn't have the pleasure of eating the meat, but I did have the pizza, and I can assure you it's delicious... really good, very thin and light. The dough is probably left to rise very well and for a long time, and perhaps they don't add too much yeast.
It's a shame they only make whole wheat dough to order...
I'll be back to try it and, in any case, to eat the pizza again.
Compliments to the pizza chef... a knowledgeable and very courteous guy.
I always tell the truth.

29/10/2025: I had the pleasure of having lunch at Upepidde with a group of seven friends. We left the table satisfied with the dishes served and the service provided.
We enjoyed local products prepared by a great chef like Michelangelo, whose skill and experience made you taste his way through every dish!
Also noteworthy is the attention to raw materials, freshness, and, above all, seasonality.
At Upepidde, you can find menus adapted to the seasonal products the Ruvo area offers.
Upepidde also has an impressive cellar housing a wide variety of wines from every vintage; Michelangelo and his staff were very kind in accompanying us on a short tour of this marvel.
26/10/2025: I've been to U PEPIDDE, but unfortunately the experience wasn't the best. The service was far too fast: we were repeatedly asked to hurry up with our food, which made the meal less than relaxing. It's a shame, because the atmosphere could have been more pleasant with a little more attention to customer time.

05/09/2025: Villa Pietra del Nisco is a location where Chef Tommaso and his family staff, with their professionalism and courtesy, make any event refined and elegant... excellent raw materials, excellent food quality and price ratio, to return for any occasion from weddings to simple pizza.... what else to say... it's my favorite restaurant... try it... thank you for what you do for your customers...🤩🤩🤩

07/11/2025: I ordered a gluten-free pizza for takeout after seeing your website and social media; the dough looked like a dream.
It's a shame that, once I opened the box at home, the result was far from what I'd seen online.
I understand that making a good gluten-free pizza isn't easy, and I appreciate the opportunity to enjoy it with my family—of course.
However, it would definitely be more appropriate to show photos that reflect the actual product, so at least the customer knows what to expect and doesn't go from excitement to disappointment in two seconds.
