10/12/2025: clean bar, super friendly staff with a smile on their face, excellent coffee but the icing on the cake is the rrari gold record but it's a shame they removed the table from outside, rrari mentioned it T_T

22/11/2025: The place is small, definitely better enjoyed on nice days, where you can enjoy the small outdoor square, but it's always worth a visit, even if only for the specialties. The cartellata al vincolo, with ricotta and pear gelato, and the Sicilian cannoli with pistachio gelato and cannolo-flavored gelato!!! Truly delicious. The cream is exquisite, and the owner and his son are so kind. We'll be back!

28/01/2026: Yesterday I bought some apple sweets and threw them in the garbage because they were old and the apple was sour. Since it was a bit expensive, I expected a sublime dessert but it was a disappointment.

29/12/2025: Il Piccio is an extremely small pizzeria, mostly doing takeout, but seating is a privilege given the limited seating. The atmosphere is lively, rustic, and unpretentious. Simplicity reigns supreme. The staff, consisting of just two people, was friendly. The chef is a Tasmanian devil: we watched him single-handedly prepare about thirty pizzas in about 20 minutes. The pizzas are cooked to perfection. A menu with classic pizzas and an entire menu entirely vegan. What can I say? This place shows how the food scene in Bari is finally evolving, especially here at Piccio. I, of course, had the vegan pizza (I came specifically for it): delicious. The Violife cheese is excellent. I also recommend the Violife feta; I hope they add it. In conclusion: a place worth discovering. Bring your partner for an authentic Bari experience. And when you manage to book a table, you'll have earned a place as coveted as a Michelin-starred restaurant. This small victory will make the experience even more authentic and memorable.

27/11/2025: Excellent "Barese-style" pizza, thin and crispy! Excellent ingredients, I recommend the Norcia with fresh mushrooms (pictured) and one of the delicious desserts! I'll definitely be back!

The exterior is also noteworthy, revealing a love of nature and especially horses. A small but significant detail: the gluten-free pizza is delicious.

Don’t let the alleyway and side entrance fool you — this place is incredibly spacious, with enough seating for even a large wedding party both inside and out. The atmosphere is charming, authentic, and full of character. The staff was amazing from start to finish — warm, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. There are plenty of options on the menu to suit just about anyone’s taste, and the fresh, handmade pasta dishes were outstanding. Everything tasted authentic and made with care. We ended up spending about two hours here while waiting out the rain, and never once felt rushed. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy a great meal, and soak in the experience. Highly recommend La Locanda del Gallo for a sit-down lunch, dinner, or even just a cold drink. Here’s a slightly more enthusiastic version too, in case you want it to sound even stronger: La Locanda del Gallo was an absolute gem. Don’t let the alleyway and side entrance fool you — once inside, you’ll find a beautiful, spacious restaurant with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The entire place has an incredibly charming and authentic feel. The staff was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. The menu offers something for everyone, and the fresh homemade pasta was truly fantastic. You can taste the quality and care in every dish. We spent nearly two hours here waiting out the rain and felt completely comfortable the entire time. We were able to relax, enjoy our food and drinks, and never felt rushed for even a second. Whether you’re looking for a full lunch or dinner or just a cold drink in a welcoming atmosphere, this place is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended.

06/12/2025: We had orichiette with sausage and ragu and finished off with hot chocolate, tiramisu and chocolate and coconut tart. Very good food and close to the main streets of Alberoberro.
