19/02/2026: I visited this restaurant on February 18, 2026, to order a takeout box for €50.00, around 7:50 PM. The first employee who greeted us told us the wait was approximately 15-20 minutes. I accepted and asked them to kindly prepare as soon as possible, as my car's ticket was expiring soon. He then turned to a colleague, who, for some mysterious reason, addressed me in an arrogant and disrespectful tone, informing me that the wait would be at least half an hour. At that point, I refused the new wait time, which also contradicted what I had been previously informed of, and left the restaurant. Dear Sirs, you must show discipline, good manners, and RESPECT towards the customers who choose you. Furthermore, I had addressed you with courtesy and kindness, qualities that were completely lacking in the employee who confronted us in a snarky and arrogant manner. Never again!

29/01/2026: Wonderfully Chinese! Sushi and poke are also available. They've been a trusted source for years at fair prices.

29/11/2025: Just had dinner there and I feel like meh about the whole experience, the lady who served us was very friendly and sold her dishes really well. Once presented on the table it all looks a little sad and loveless. The fried polenta was fine, and so was the oriechetta and the pork ribs too. As for the dessert, I think we got overcharged for some tiny desserts. A chocolate souffle that seemed more like a muffin filled with Nutella at 7€ is not very impressive. 3€ for a warm limoncello (in other restaurants chilled and only 2€). I can go on, craftbeer served with a non matching glass is a bit nonchalant in my opinion as well. Anyway, food not too bad but definitely overpriced.

13/08/2025: Young pizzeria with competitive prices, courteous and friendly staff, excellent quality products, delicious pizzas

29/07/2025: We visited this pizzeria a few nights ago, unfortunately with very disappointing expectations. The place could use some more attention: the atmosphere wasn't particularly clean, and there was an unpleasant odor that made the wait unpleasant. The service took very long, and even more unfortunate was that they forgot one of the pizzas we ordered, which arrived only after we reported the mix-up. The pizzas were very small, and unfortunately, the quality of the ingredients was extremely poor—so much so that it left a bitter taste in our mouths, in every sense of the word. It's unfortunate to have to say this, but in this regard, the quality was truly disappointing. The only positive aspect of the evening was the staff, who were courteous and helpful, but unfortunately, that wasn't enough to make up for the rest. I hope they can take these comments as a starting point for improvement, because at this time, I wouldn't recommend this pizzeria.

26/10/2025: If you don't like their pizza, that's understandable, but we'll certainly all agree on their fried foods, especially their panzerotti: in my opinion, they're the best in Bari right now!

12/03/2026: The place is small but truly welcoming. The staff is simple, friendly, and welcoming. What really struck me was the explosion of authentic flavors. Flavors unlike anything you've tasted anywhere else. I've never had such a good pizza. And the rest... top of the line. Well done, Giovanni (the pizza chef)!!! I'll definitely be back.

11/03/2026: I had dinner at this pizzeria on Monday evening. The pizza was very good.

25/01/2026: Biblical wait times, the runner (the pizzeria manager) remained outside our house for 10 minutes because he couldn't find the intercom!! Not a call, eh? The pizza was anemic, with very little tomato and miserable mozzarella. Obviously, it arrived frozen, having been "waiting" for the runner at the pizzeria for at least 40 minutes after our umpteenth call! Never again!

05/01/2026: Very good food and excellent quality. Friendly staff. Attention to detail in the ambience.

02/11/2025: As a welcome, two glasses of sparkling wine. Lunch began with sea urchins, ravioli with burrata, orecchiette with polpette, and fried seafood, along with two glasses of wine. The hospitality was warm, friendly, and attentive. A must-try.

27/11/2025: The worst sushi I've ever eaten! Poor quality, all the flavors are the same, and if you accidentally order an extra dish, even if it's not on the table, and you tell the waiter you don't want it, he'll leave it on your table! Smelly tuna. I don't understand this hype! Horrible! The only redeeming feature is the location!

12/11/2025: I travel 40 kilometers round trip every time because I wouldn't trade this sushi place for anything else. I've been coming here often for over a year and it's never disappointed me. Excellent food, super quality. Highly recommended.

28/08/2025: We stumbled upon this place while waiting for our train. It's a small, unassuming café that also sells tobacco, located in a neighborhood that's a bit rough around the edges, so frankly, we didn't expect much. But the moment we walked in, we were met with the warmest, most genuine welcome imaginable from the gentleman behind the counter. It was completely unexpected and truly made our day. While the coffee and pasticciotto were both very good, it was the incredible hospitality that made this place so memorable.

12/03/2026: We had an absolutely wonderful experience at La Locanda del Gallo. Don’t let the alleyway and side entrance fool you — this place is incredibly spacious, with enough seating for even a large wedding party both inside and out. The atmosphere is charming, authentic, and full of character. The staff was amazing from start to finish — warm, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. There are plenty of options on the menu to suit just about anyone’s taste, and the fresh, handmade pasta dishes were outstanding. Everything tasted authentic and made with care. We ended up spending about two hours here while waiting out the rain, and never once felt rushed. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy a great meal, and soak in the experience. Highly recommend La Locanda del Gallo for a sit-down lunch, dinner, or even just a cold drink. Here’s a slightly more enthusiastic version too, in case you want it to sound even stronger: La Locanda del Gallo was an absolute gem. Don’t let the alleyway and side entrance fool you — once inside, you’ll find a beautiful, spacious restaurant with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The entire place has an incredibly charming and authentic feel. The staff was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. The menu offers something for everyone, and the fresh homemade pasta was truly fantastic. You can taste the quality and care in every dish. We spent nearly two hours here waiting out the rain and felt completely comfortable the entire time. We were able to relax, enjoy our food and drinks, and never felt rushed for even a second. Whether you’re looking for a full lunch or dinner or just a cold drink in a welcoming atmosphere, this place is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended.

06/12/2025: We had orichiette with sausage and ragu and finished off with hot chocolate, tiramisu and chocolate and coconut tart. Very good food and close to the main streets of Alberoberro.
