28/08/2025: We stumbled upon this place while waiting for our train. It's a small, unassuming café that also sells tobacco, located in a neighborhood that's a bit rough around the edges, so frankly, we didn't expect much. But the moment we walked in, we were met with the warmest, most genuine welcome imaginable from the gentleman behind the counter. It was completely unexpected and truly made our day. While the coffee and pasticciotto were both very good, it was the incredible hospitality that made this place so memorable.

09/04/2026: Azzurra is definitely the best croissant shop I've ever tried... it's now our regular stop on Mondays because they make fabulous artisan croissants without any gimmicks or deception, everything in plain sight. They offer a variety of sweets, croissants, ricce, brioches, small pastries, and doughnuts to be filled on the spot that are a spectacle for the palate. What can I say, the best croissant I've ever tried is here at Azzurra. Truly congratulations 😀👏 A hug from Bitritto 😘

04/04/2026: A pizzeria with plenty of seating and the option to order pizza, pasta dishes, or meat dishes. Reservations are recommended and recommended. The food is generally good, especially the thin, light pizzas. Run by Vittorio, the owner, who gives the place its name, he's friendly and welcoming. Prices are average; the only drawbacks are that you often have to wait, and better ventilation would be desirable to absorb odors.

07/12/2025: Saturday evening, we booked a table for 10 at 8:30 PM, three days in advance. We arrived on time but had to wait for them to set up the table. We waited for our order until, by calling the staff's attention, we were able to place our order. At 11:00 PM, they started serving our pizzas... The only advice we can give the owner is to get some help because he can't simultaneously check the bill, pour beers, answer the phone, take orders, set up the tables, and, while he's there, churn out pizzas. P.S. Even the wrong orders and pizza... no comment. It wasn't our first time at this pizzeria, but we noticed that it had gotten worse, and by quite a bit. Let's ignore the service and the wait; it's a bad day, but the pizza has gotten worse, and other dishes weren't that great either.

09/03/2026: A very pleasant bakery in the old town. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. You can try delicious local bread here, including one made with olive oil and olives. Everything is fresh and very tasty. It's definitely worth a visit when walking around Altamura.

18/02/2026: We don't usually like eating out, but choosing to have lunch or dinner at this restaurant is like being guests in the welcoming and clean home of a friend who also happens to be a talented chef. You'll find refinement, creativity, and constant attention to the quality of the ingredients in Mary's dishes: plenty of seasonal vegetables, local produce, and ancient grains. But the deliciousness of every bite is indescribable! It's worth trying and letting yourself be won over by her skill and charm!

16/03/2026: The owner is very kind and friendly. Respectable clientele. I stopped by for Halloween, my birthday, an evening with makeup and live music. One of the places in Bari where you can have a drink in peace.

Poor quality, all the flavors are the same, and if you accidentally order an extra dish, even if it's not on the table, and you tell the waiter you don't want it, he'll leave it on your table! Smelly tuna. I don't understand this hype! Horrible! The only redeeming feature is the location!

12/11/2025: I travel 40 kilometers round trip every time because I wouldn't trade this sushi place for anything else. I've been coming here often for over a year and it's never disappointed me. Excellent food, super quality. Highly recommended.

07/03/2026: A very quiet hotel with excellent service. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. Many typical Puglian sights are located nearby, such as the Sassi di Matera and the world-famous Alberobello. The food here is also excellent. I was given a tour of the kitchen, and it was exceptionally clean, which is quite rare in the restaurant industry. The staff is courteous and very friendly. So, if you value a peaceful stay with good food, this is the perfect place. I would gladly stay at Hotel Murgia again. Thank you for the wonderful time :-). See you soon!

28/12/2025: They always have air conditioning issues (presumably due to the kitchen exhaust fan)... Reservations are recommended well in advance, as their products are very good and sell out quickly. I recommend dining in, however, as the pizza smell lingers on your clothes and hair.

28/01/2026: Yesterday I bought some apple sweets and threw them in the garbage because they were old and the apple was sour. Since it was a bit expensive, I expected a sublime dessert but it was a disappointment.
