Fantastic restaurant and highly recommended! The chef was super friendly and came to our table multiple times to check on us and our like of the food. We had a divine and delicious dinner! We had a combination of starters ( antipasti) and we ordered more than what’s in the pictures ( forgot to take pictures before eating them) but everything was high quality!! From the starters, to the pizzas, to the pasta and dessert, we ate well and were super happy! Compliments to the chef for his creations, and all the staff who were super attentive and lovely. Highly recommended! We’ll be coming back for more!

Very nice experience. We came at 8pm on Friday in May and we were the only ones there. The food was very nice. We had steak, a portobelo mushroom (which was recommended by the waiter) - it was delicious. We also had a pizza Diavola - not the Neapolitan style, but very nice. Overall a very nice experience, the staff was attentive, polite and had presented us with very nice suggestions. Would definitely recommend.

Just had dinner here, because it was just nextdoor to our hotel and we loved it! Very well priced. The staff was lovely, recommended fresh mozarella (perfect) and I ordered the steak. Meat was perfectly cooked and so soft. Waiter also recommended the grilled mushroom (which he also brought uncooked from the kitchen to show us) and it was delicous! My husband had pizza and it was good (I prefer more Neapolitan style). There was a kid party in the next room, but we did not mind at all, we like the local feel of the place, however it might not be for everyone. Overall, great dinner experience, would recommend to go here if you’re in the city And the house rose wine was great 👌🏻

Hotel Murgia Ristorante

07/03/2026: A very quiet hotel with excellent service. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. Many typical Puglian sights are located nearby, such as the Sassi di Matera and the world-famous Alberobello. The food here is also excellent. I was given a tour of the kitchen, and it was exceptionally clean, which is quite rare in the restaurant industry. The staff is courteous and very friendly. So, if you value a peaceful stay with good food, this is the perfect place. I would gladly stay at Hotel Murgia again. Thank you for the wonderful time :-). See you soon!
27/12/2025: Nice little place, not too expensive. Close to Matera, Gioia del Colle, and Bari. Clean. Courteous.

17/06/2026: We went to this restaurant for a wedding anniversary and were impressed. The dishes are meticulously crafted, with fresh ingredients and truly perfect flavor combinations. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff was incredibly kind and attentive to our every need. We'll definitely be back! Thank you.
