I came back everything was fine in the end after I was a regular customer they even make me pay for the bitters and moreover I buy the game broken and they won't even change it, disgusting, never again

29/11/2024: I went on a November day to have a quick and cheap meal but at the same time not eat low quality things. I was lucky. I found the right place in this Piccolo Ristoro restaurant in the center of Turin in via Principi d'Acaja. The environment is not large. In fact, the restaurant is not called small for nothing :-) few seats but the service is fast and the quality of the food is not bad, just right for what you pay. You can choose the first courses for €7, the usual second courses for €9 and the trio dish which includes first course and second side dish for 12 euros. Desserts aside for a cost of €4.90, coffee costing €1, I would say the prices are absolutely honest. What can I say, a nice reference for good food at a great price, we will definitely be back.

19/10/2024: First of all, it really hurts me to write a bad review about any place in general, especially this one where I have been coming for 3 years until today whenever I need a good pizza. However, today I had the worst experience ever, which I also had two weeks ago with the same worker. I believe she is related to the owner; she is the only blonde girl. Despite this, I decided not to write a bad review because I felt that she might have had a bad day, and it's not something related to my nationality or the fact that I'm a foreign student. Last time, she took the menu from our hands while we were still choosing, and she came to take our plates away when we were still eating. But this time, it was beyond bad from the moment we stepped inside the restaurant. She started treating us badly when one of the workers seated us at a table, and she aggressively moved us to another table. After we ordered, she gave us side-eye looks, but we stayed and didn't say anything. When our order was ready, even though we had made it clear that we were eating in, not taking away, she gave us our pizza in a cardboard box as if we were pets and told us it was a mistake, while the plates were literally 2 meters away from us. We took the plates and I went to get two more plates to transfer the pizza. We ate in a hurry so we could end the evening peacefully and left. When we went outside to sit, after about 10 minutes, she came out to see us, and 2 minutes later, a siren started for a couple of seconds, so we left. I do not recommend this restaurant; it was the worst restaurant experience ever and the most racist experience. Update: I did go there recently and they treated me well

02/12/2024: Il classico che ci piace sempre… eh si, passano gli anni ma qui si va sempre sul sicuro. Sabato a pranzo su prenotazione, locale pieno, servizio impeccabile. L’unica cosa che cambia e si rinnova è forse il menù che abbina piatti diciamo “insoliti” ai grandi classici della tradizione. E così le nostre scelte: per cominciare i classicissimi “tre da re” (battuta di fassona, insalata russa e vitello tonnato) accanto a una tarte tatin di peperoni con acciughe del Cantabrico e tonno di coniglio. Poi pasta e ceci con polpo e chorizo, e un risotto con cavolo viola, pancetta e fonduta, una bottiglia di Nizza Cipressi. Le immutabili fragole con granella di zucchero quali pre-dessert, uno spettacolare zabaglione fatto al tavolo con torcetti e paste di meliga, un semifreddo alla ricotta con pere caramellate al barolo e croccante di cioccolato fondente… il tutto da leccarsi i baffi! Tre sono i Re ma cinque le stelle.

26/01/2025: I am reviewing this place after having eaten there several times, both as a couple and with friends. A refined and cutting-edge restaurant in terms of furnishings, it even has a starry sky. Fresh and carefully crafted products, the prices for an all you can it are excellent, the availability of some dishes is limited but very few indeed, the tuna even for Sunday lunch has no limits. I will return and recommend it

26/01/2025: Long waits to get the dishes Then once the food arrives, not all of it is not hot, so the problem is not the kitchen but the table service, a lot of confusion and incorrect dishes at the tables

02/02/2025: Cozy and the croissants are good. Very kind staff. But I find it unacceptable to still have Turkish baths in 2025 in a city like Turin.

17/01/2025: Went by chance and had a great time both in terms of courtesy and helpfulness and what about the food? Excellent and the fassona steak sublime... The only flaw is that since the boiler broke we ate with our jackets on even though the staff provided a fan heater, but being a large room it wasn't enough
