14/04/2025: Quality food and wines....excellent welcome. Very clean place, furnished as I expect in a restaurant. The bathrooms are also very clean. The view is fabulous and the small village is a clear example of how to recover small mountain places. well done everyone!

25/05/2025: Posto semplice, un po’ “betola” di paese, ma personale cordiale e buon cibo a prezzo davvero basso (15€ a persona con 3 portate, acqua, vino e caffè)
Scelta tra 3 antipasti, 2 primi , 2 secondi e 2 dessert. Tutto molto semplice ma buono (non eccellente)
Bene per breve sosta, non se si hanno aspettative da menu di lusso.
18/05/2025: Ci siamo trovati veramente bene e a casa… la sig.ra Cinzia con il suo staff sono stati vernante gentili e accoglienti, mangiare buonissimo… Siamo andati tra amici dopo un giro in bike ! Ma è perfetto anche anche per famiglie, immerso nella natura, a pochissimo posti disponibili ma forse è proprio per questo che ti trovi come se fossi a casa. Se riuscirò vorrei ritornarci con la famiglia.

04/01/2025: “Locanda del Pilone” is every bit a gem in Alba, and their Michelin-starred gastronomic showstopper was delightfully paired with an almost “illegal” (region-wise) Frescobaldi Castelgiocondo Brunello 2001. It was such a treat that we can’t wait to plan our next culinary escape right back there.

Changed management, changed the menu that is now focused on vegan ...
Goodbye to the legendary dish potatoes, toma and aioli '.. goodbye to everything that was there before.. only the good craft beers remain.. shame.
18/05/2025: Good food, fast service and friendly staff, special experience. Recommended if you are in the area; done once, without taking anything away, I would not do another 80km round trip on purpose.

11/06/2025: Amazing place, wonderful relaxing atmosphere, a paradise for hikers who want to have the pleasures of a great accommodation, good food, wonderful rooms combined with easy access to nature. Marco and his team are superb, and we enjoyed their curated Sunday afternoon live music program - pity we can't be there for the film events. We would come back anytime.

03/06/2025: Wir hatten die Gelegenheit bei Gionò Menü a la carte zu essen, das viele typisch piemontesische Köstlichkeiten bereit hielt. Was soll man sagen, es war vorzüglich, hatte Sterneniveau! Bekocht wurde man vom Sohn des Besitzers, der im Alter von Mitte-Ende 20 (geschätzt) gezeigt hat, was er kann - großes Kompliment! Also, wer gutes Essen und gute Weine bevorzugt, ist dort am richtigen Ort.
